I felt so lighter after this meditation, just didn't realize how the time went so fast. I hope they provide this kind of events more often, so more people can join and experience this meditation. Only thing that I personally didn't like was that Ray's voice cut off multiples times during the session, I am not sure if it happened because my connection was bad. But overall I really enjoyed the session today, and I would want to join again!

I suffered from manic mood swings, and depression, and I was searching for an alternative to medication my therapist suggested I take. I was skeptical at first as I always am with alternative and conventional practices alike. The first few sessions I didn't notice much of a change. One day I was dealing with several stressful occurrences that would have normally sent me spiraling into a deep pit of negative thoughts and worst case scenario predictions of my future. I slowly worked myself through the events and on the other side I realized I hadn't spiraled out of control with my thoughts. My manic mood swings have basically disappeared and my depression doesn't spiral down as deep as it used to. It takes some time to see results, and it hasn't been a cure all. The sessions lasted 30 minutes, several times a week, so some time commitment is required. But you get to watch a movie while you sit there so It was actually very relaxing. It has been about 4 months since I last had a session with Jessica and I'm still experiencing the positive results from her brainwave therapy sessions. It has been a better option for me than becoming dependent on and dealing with the possible negative side effects of prescription medication.

She goes beyond teaching just the moves and emphasizes their connection to diaphragmatic breathing which results in a deep meditative state throughout the practice. Imagine doing an entire practice with eyes closed. This serves to quiet us so we can really listen and feel our bodies. In the three months I have practiced under Alina, I sleep better and my sinus condition has virtually disappeared. I am off my meds. There is no one like Alina!

I have no idea how long i was on the table (with an Amethyst Heating Pad for healing and comfort) - but when i got off the table, my back felt quite a bit better. About three months ago I had developed pain in my left arm that was so severe it literally kept me…read moreup at night. The slightest movement was excruciating. Then to make matters worse, a similar pain moved into my right arm as well. I tried seeing my GP about the pain; I tried painkillers; I tried a chiropractor (10 visits) to no relief whatsoever! Finally, I made an appointment with Carla Gorsky at The Peaceful Heart. I was feeling so much better after two visits, but after three visits the pain was gone! Carla was able to really explore all the muscles and tissue surrounding my arm/shoulder and relieve so much pressure and pain. About two weeks ago I tweaked my knee, making it very difficult to bend my knee. I asked Carla to take a look and see what she could do. I left that session with much more movement and a lot less pain in my knee. Today (the day following our session) I was able to go to work in a busy preschool (which requires a lot of bending, kneeling, sitting, standing, etc) with ease. I can still feel a little twinge in the knee and I know I don't have full range of motion yet, but I know that I'm on the right track to wellness! Words cannot express how grateful I am that I found Carla! I was feeling so frustrated with my health and she has given me so much hope. Lastly, I'd like to say that Carla is just so delightful to work with. I am very self-conscious, and she (and her adorable dog, Charlie) made the whole experience very comfortable.
