I initially reached out to speak with the manager/owner regarding an issue my mother experienced while scheduling an appointment. I was told by Nicole that the owner, Sheryl was finishing with a client and would call me back around 3:00 PM. That call never came. I followed up at 4:00 PM and was then told the owner had already left for the day but would call me once she got home. Again, no call was received. The original concern was regarding my mother's appointment. As a Mother's Day gift, I purchased her a Groupon for highlights so she could treat herself and enjoy the experience. She successfully booked an appointment for next Saturday at 11:00 AM and later received a call at 5:53 PM that same day asking whether she would be paying full price or using Groupon. Once she confirmed it was a Groupon appointment, the tone of the conversation noticeably changed and she was told she would now need to wait an additional 2-3 weeks because that stylist "doesn't take Groupons." We were then told this policy is outlined in Groupon fine print and that Groupon appointments must be scheduled weeks out. However, I reviewed the Groupon details thoroughly and could not find any language stating that only certain stylists accept Groupon appointments or that there is a required waiting period. My concern isn't simply availability, it's the inconsistency and lack of transparency. If restrictions exist for Groupon customers, they should be clearly disclosed before appointments are booked, not after confirmation. It was disappointing that something purchased as a Mother's Day gift ended up becoming stressful and left us feeling like the appointment became an issue only once the payment method was disclosed. I was hoping to resolve this directly before leaving a review, but after multiple promises of a callback that never happened, I felt it was important to share our experience.

The appointment was for my 3 year old and I'm due to give birth with my 2nd in less than a week but I say no problem. The receptionist says great we'll see you in half an hour. I then come back in half an hour and I ask if the hair stylist is ready. The receptionist says no that she needs 5 more minutes but I can leave if I don't want to wait. This was pretty frustrating and I asked why they wouldn't just call me if she's running that behind and ask me to come later? The receptionist only mentioned that the stylist is just that busy. I wait another couple of minutes and ask again if the stylist is ready. At this point im tired of waiting and ask to get an actual estimated time she will be ready. I see the receptionist go up to the stylist and I see that the stylist is annoyed with the questions. I feel that when you have such a "popular" stylist that people should be better at scheduling their appointments for them. A phone call to say she's running an hour behind would have been great to receive, and the stylist could have taken 2 minutes to check in with me and see what can be done to accommodate me since I wasn't late. The stylist ran behind and should have tried to remedy the problem. At the end I left, it was obvious they didn't care for my business since the stylist is that popular. Overall I was very disappointed and won't return.

After visiting Salon Plush for the third time yesterday, I felt like I had to write a review…read more I came to this salon for the first time in January, unhappy with the color and condition of my hair due to my prior salon's treatment. Missy was super nice and thorough and took the time to discuss my hair with me, make suggestions and listen to my concerns. She and Gia were so kind and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable, and I was really happy with my immediate results. Now that I have been here for the third time and I feel like what my old salon did to my hair color is behind me, I can truly say that my hair has never looked better. Missy is a master with color and cuts and Gia is so amazing and gentle with blowouts and styling that not only did I love my hair, but I also felt like I had just had a massage. I felt so much happier and better about myself when I left the salon, and I received more compliments on my hair yesterday than I did in all the years of going to my old salon. As a bonus, the shop itself is lovely, immaculately clean and fun. Missy has given me helpful tips as to how to care for and style my hair at home, has recommended products and has been honest with me about cut, color and styling suggestions to suit my hair and face.
