Last August I decided to grow out my gray. I visited Sonia who I asked for a pixie haircut to remove all of my processed hair. The cut was cute, but, it wasn't me. I don't hold that against her because it's just part of my growing out gray process. I've been seeing Sonia every three months since. I've been slowly growing my hair out into a bob. I'm happy to say that Sonia is a very good listener and has been great with the trims during this growing out process. Highly recommend. I've never felt as uncomfortable at a salon as I did here. I saw Olivia a total of three times and each time she seemed to be in a worse mood. She was so condescending and downright mean to the shampoo lady Rita, it was painful to watch. I was there for 6 hours the last time doing color and extensions; she barely spoke besides to complain about being tired and how she was "running on fumes." I guess she never stopped to think the person sitting in her chair (me) was having an even worse week and was looking forward to some relaxing time in the salon that day. What I experienced was far from it. Aside from her crummy attitude and feeling like I was a bother to her, I couldn't help but notice how filthy the salon was. Dust covered the fans, vases, speakers, corners and pretty much anything that wasn't the sink or hair station. There was a dirty wine glass next to the dryers that I noticed on my first visit that was still there on my last visit nearly two weeks later. There's no excuse for this level on uncleanliness. On top of that, it was absolutely freezing in there! The stylists that weren't busy were sitting in their chairs blow drying themselves just to keep warm. My hair doesn't look terrible but Olivia didn't do anything special enough to justify returning and being subjected to her entitled behavior. I was there for over six hours and wasn't even offered so much as a glass of water. To say my experience was unpleasant from start to finish is an understatement. read more

Gave this salon 3 chances to win me over as a regular and they failed today! Will never step foot back in that wacky ran salon! This salon is a TOXIC DEPRESSING environment! I have some great hair and not today , but last time I got my hair done the woman who does my hair, in a room full of people deemed it appropriate to tell me out LOUD my hair is VERY "dry". Well, actually my hair is super healthy , thick and shiny no frizz, no split ends. I get regular trims , use high end hair products, it's not "dry". Soooo I'm not sure if she was just purposefully trying to being a mean girl or was trying to sell me their Moroccan oil products (which btw leaves waxy films on hair shaft I wouldn't use that line. ) Lots of articles about how damaging Moroccan oil is for the hair online. ANYHOW you shouldn't talk to your customers you barely know that way and belittle them to make yourself feel better ! Her hair isn't even healthy at ALL whatever happened to leading by example, and what if I was mixed race and she's judging the texture of my hair ??? Super offensive! Very bizarre staff that have very LOUD inappropriate conversations amongst themselves They talk about topics such as Botox and filler injections in front of clients. They talk about how they can't afford homes but then embellish on how fabulous their latest trip oversees was or their cool weekend plans dining out very loudly. Super ignorant! They're super loud when they do all this too! Clients are paying good money and want to relax in their own oasis and it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to do that in this salon! NOONE offers you a drink, a coffee or ANYTHING! One particular woman that works there has a SUPER IRRITATING FAKE VALLEY GIRL WANT TO BE PRETENTIOUS KNOW IT ALL VOICE! Omg I just want to wear air pods every time I've been there. She irritates the crap out of me it's like claws on a chalkboard her voice!!!! The only kind genuine employee that works there is the shampoo woman who is very thorough at what she does and I don't mind tipping her well. The front desk woman has given me resting bitch face through my side eye and through the mirrors on SEVERAL OCCASIONS! If I could give this place no stars, I would. I was there a few weeks ago. I got a deep conditioning treatment and a haircut by a woman I think was named Sharon. This was the result for $110 + tip. An extremely uneven, ugly haircut. I sent a very nice email right away saying I was unhappy and then called. I went back to another stylist Stella (she is great) to get my hair "fixed" as you can see it was not fixed and it cost me another $35 + tip. So here i am, I have spent over $150 on my hair and I'm still unhappy. My hair looks awful and what's even better is that my hair is curly so it looks even worse when my hair is natural. I did not want it to come to this but if you want your hair to look good, go elsewhere. Also, the owner/manager never called me. Bad business. I will be spreading the word and leaving the salon a bad review everywhere I possibly can and I too work locally in the beauty industry so I will be telling my customers to avoid Jadore de hair as well. Sharon has done frequent blowouts for me for over 7 years and every time is a beautiful bouncy success. Her blowouts last several days and she's able to create different shapes and styles per your request. I came here because they were able to fit me in the same day after a terrible haircut someplace else. Jessica at Jadore fixed my hair without taking length-- only enough to fix the terrible job that was done. I wish I came to them in the first place and will continue coming here, she did wonders on my hair and added the layers I wanted. She converted my hair to something I actually enjoyed. I had a root touch up recently. I wanted to discuss additional color highlighting options for my hair but he did not seem to be in the mood to have this discussion. Something felt off. Then he proceeded to put the wrong color on my roots. I didn't really see how bad the contrast was until I got home. It really looks awful. I will not be going back. read more

I had been a regular here for years, they have helped me with my graduations, my sweet 16, many of my proms, dances, weddings I attended and more! They also have done my keratin numerous times. Very nice staff, and I love the new interior of the salon. Sometimes you have to wait for your appointment or for the product you need to be in stock, but it is worth it in the end. I would also say fair prices, you get what you pay for. I would rather spend extra and get an amazing job. If you pay a low price, you will get low service. However, I have heard of pricier salons not doing such a great job as they have done. I would suggest for anyone in the area to go here read more

If I could give zero stars I would. They did not do what I asked for. They did a cheap half of a job and charged me almost double than what they said when I went in and asked about prices. I was so insulted. They have no personality and are just cold. Felt very uncomfortable on top of coming out with an awful dye job where people said things like, why does your hair look like that? Really embarrassing. And I've been getting my hair done for a while, whatever they used to dye my hair really destroyed it. I know hair dye isn't good for your hair but it should not be this damaged from a touch up. A real disappointment. read more

J'adore Salon has apparently had some payment difficulties with a customer. Because of that, I was embarrassed and had to go to my bank to get cash to pay when they refused a check. I have never had such an experience like this before. I do understand why the owner of J'adore would not want to take checks after having had a negstive experience with a customer. What I do NOT understand is why I was not told about their new policy when I made my appointment. Instead, my charge card was kept as collateral while I had to make a trip to my bank to get cash!! my favorite salon ever! whenever i stray from here, i regret it. i have gotten my hair cut a lot of times here and colored here at separate times Raphael is my main stylist (he colors and cuts) but I have gotten my hair cut by Ruben aswell and he is great too! They are both awesome and do a wonderful job. Prices are also pretty reasonable for the quality haircut you get.
