I admitted this place many times before and had great service and great food. Unfortunately, this time was not the case. I believe they may have been a little understaffed and everyone was really nice about it but we ordered food and drinks or drinks came and our food never came in fact three other tables came in after us waited for a seat. Got a seat ordered food and drinks and got food and left before we were addressed about. The food isn't ready yet. I'm normally not wanting to complain, but this was kind of ridiculous. I wish I could say I had great service cause I had this place up. But seeing how we didn't even get to eat and had to go somewhere else and start over, sucks. The atmosphere is great and the location is really close to the beach there's TVs all around to watch sports and small bar area to sit down and they make their own pizzas with a real fire oven. Probably pretty good. I don't know though didn't get to try it. I'm sure one day I'll give it another chance. read more

Pretty sure the kids in the kitchen never washed their hands. Food leaves a lot to be desired. Caesar salad was overdressed, wilted, and warm. Pizza is supposedly their thing - they have a giant pizza oven and warnings about the potential wait. Pizza crust was nicely charred and crispy on the bottom but undercooked in the middle. This was a fantastic place for Sunday Football with good food and great service from Amber at the bar. Beer was good and cold. There is so much to see in this place starting with the Stingrays above the bar, all the TVs and decor. The only real knock is the high bar chairs. This vertically challenged adult had to for real jump off! I guess that would make it easy to identify when someone's had too much! . We came here on Friday of Memorial Day weekend in a large group, a party of 8. We sat for almost two hours waiting on our food, and then 7 orders came out and the 8th took another 5 minutes to come out. Fried shrimp and fish tacos were acceptable but not exceptional, especially for a beach restaurant, fries tasted frozen and burgers were overcooked and poorly seasoned. The kitchen did not seem capable of handling a holiday crowd, because several other tables had long wait times for food as well. Our waitress was not very attentive as she was also waiting on two other large groups, so an increase in staff could help remedy the service issues. Atmosphere is definitely more bar than restaurant, so be prepared if you have children for a lot of drunken ruckus. In my opinion you would be better off spending your money at an establishment that knows how to run a kitchen efficiently and serves higher quality food for the price! read more

They don't answer the phone. I Called 3 times to make a reservation and they were open - I called from 1:30 - 2:00 - and No one picked up the phone. So I don't know if they can take a reservation for 8. I'm very Leery of showing up at a place with 8 people and without a reservation when they can't answer the phone. That tells me they ARE understaffed like some other reviews indicate. I guess we'll spend our money elsewhere. So we went here anyway. We got split across 2 tables. It's not we'll managed. Think mom n pop run restaurant - good people but not organized. Slow and making it up as they go - not ready for spiky volumes. Got the cheese bites and trio platter. Good. Got reseated to a modified pool table turned into a table. We are so far apart we can't have meeting full conversation. WAMP. The waiter came out saying I'm a terrible liar - I forgot your order of... chicken strips my daughter ordered. Another is waiting for pizza. 2 people of 8 are waiting for their food. Awkward. Ate there for lunch today. It use to be our regular spot to watch sports, eat and drink. It was terrible. Food quality and hospitality was out the door. Asked for a wedge salad no blue cheese, when it came out with blue cheese, sent it back and it was brought back to me with some of the blue cheese scrapped off and other pieces left in the salad. Nice sized sports bar with PUH-lenty of nice TVs. The place was PACKED on a late college football Saturday afternoon. It's not a bad place, but it was hot inside (probably due to the amount of people) and quite noisy. They have an outside patio that's dog friendly. They have a full bar and quite a large list of beer on draft and in bottles, but most of them are from the big breweries. There's a small handful of microbrews, but not many. Although I didn't eat there, the food menu looked like a bit of a step above from the usual sports bar. If it wasn't so hot in there, I probably would have eaten there. The reason I chose this place for a cold brew was because of their happy hour specials listed on their website: Thursday 4 PM - 6 PM Friday, Saturday & Sunday 3 PM - 6 PM $1 Off Draft Beer $3 Well Drinks | $3 House Wine However, after receiving my bill, I was charged full price. I inquired with the server, who had to speak to a manager. The manager explained that the info on the website was outdated and needed to be taken down. He also explained that the all you can eat rib Thursday special was no longer good and needed to be taken down. He said it had been mentioned to the owner several times, but to no avail. Regardless, the manager gave us the happy hour prices for our drinks and we were on our way. It's a nice place, so I'll check in on them again in the future and see if their cooling problems have been resolved. Just don't put any trust in the specials you see listed on their website. went to Stingrays to watch a game and eat dinner. plenty of tv's and seating inside. we decide on a couple appetizers while waiting on pizza (menu states pizza takes 45-60 minutes)- chips w salsa and guacamole, bacon wrapped jalapenos w chicken. Both appetizers ok- normal bar food. Pizzas came out 70 minutes later- i really don't understand why it takes soooo long to get there pizzas out. not crowded and looks like they have a large pizza oven. I've been there twice, before going to the Community Theater. The food was great, prices are great, it's just pub grub, but great. Both times I sat at the bar, the bartender was great both times, very knowledgeable and super friendly. I can't remember her name, but both times , I was there about 5.30 in the afternoon. I recommend this place if you are looking for pub grub and a great selection of beers. I do have a few more events for this year at the community theater, I will be going back to this restaurant. It was not super busy when we went but there seems to be lots of regulars, great indication. read more

Nico and Emily were the best! We were in town to visit Port A and they were welcoming when we came to watch the Cowboys on Sunday. The Bloody Mary was the best I've ever had. Spicy and awesome. It was brought out after we mentioned that, and then it was charged as an additional $2.50/burger instead of being rang up as the bacon cheese burger. Our waitress stated she had completely forgotten it. The fries tasted like pre-frozen crinkle fries. They were gross and even the kiddos wouldn't eat them. The pizza was awful. Zane was our waiter and he took the very best care of us, even made sure we got to watch our OU girls play in the Women's College World Series (WCWS) final on their biggest tv screen, yay!
