361 Bar is one of those places that's easy to miss if you don't know it's there since it's tucked into a strip mall, but it's definitely worth stopping in. There's plenty of parking, which is always nice. Inside is clean and laid out well with enough space between tables to make it wheelchair accessible, which I really appreciated. They've got a full bar, friendly bartenders, pool tables, dart boards, video poker, big screen TVs, and fun decor that gives it a relaxed neighborhood bar feel. Just a heads up, smoking is allowed inside. Overall, it's a fun spot to hang out, grab a drink, and spend a few hours. read more

The service was great. They had a party and there was leftover crawfish that was incredibly good and the bartender said it was leftover so we could have all we wanted. Had a great time shooting pool they have darts and a big circular bar. Would recommend this bar to everyone. read more

Samantha is so fun! We had a great time. We visit Port Aransas about once a year and we discovered this place about three years ago. It's not touristy and so laid back. We always make sure we stop here while we are here. But really enjoyed this trip with Samantha behind the bar. She's hilarious! Made our evening! read more

They didn't serve food here which was fine. We didn't go for food. The service was great considering there was only two bartenders and the place was packed. The ambience was perfect. Great karaoke setup. The KJ Bubba Flex made his entrance from the outside on his jacked up bicycle with boom box blaring. Quite the spectacle. Terrific daily beer and drink specials. While we were the there, the specials were $2 Dos Equis or Busch and $4 Crown. A beer and a shot $5. Pretty sweet. I would say mainly a local hangout, but everyone was friendly. The bar itself is pretty spacious, full bar, a little kitchen, and i think you can smoke in there too. Not a place for tourists. We had one guy fondling our friends arm, luckily he didn't have a watch on that he was obviously trying to steal. And thank goodness my husband was outside the bathroom waiting for me when I went. A guy tried to follow me in, my husband stopped him and the guy said sorry and walked away. He didn't have it confused for the men's bc he didn't go to the men's after that. VERY lucky that a) our friend didn't have his watch on and b) my husband was outside the bathroom door. The ambience here is best described as occlusive, to the point almost of being hostile. Yes, we are tourists. Be aware this is a smoking allowed establishment. Didn't really bother us at the moment but later when we walked out smelling like smoke we decided we would only go back again in cooler weather and could sit outside on the nice patio. Fun bar! Clean and newer than most in Port A. We visited twice while in town and bartender was friendly and tabs were reasonable on both visits. They have pool, darts, golden tee, and ntn games and had karoke on Tuesday when we were there. They also had a patio, but we stayed inside as it was a little cool during our visit. I tried to give this business NO stars as the new owners have no interest in enforcing ethics, integrity, or adequate customer service. First and foremost, The highly protected bartender Lisa loves Don Julio and will help herself and her friends to as much of it as she sees fit on YOUR tab. My boyfriend and I were charged for 24 Don Julio shots that we didn't order between 8pm and 10pm when we left back to the condo. My friend closed our tab for us @ approx 12:15am and questioned the $451.00 tab that had been racked up in 3 hours by 4 people. Lisa said yeah it's correct and who cares it's not your card. Needles to say the owners refuse to do the right thing and take the bottle of Don off our tab after 3 weeks. They also claim THEY HAVE NO VIDEO SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS when asked for video proof of the shots being ordered and passed over the bar. I just want some justice and it's blatantly obvious that no matter how much fact or math is presented to the owners; they refuse to admit and remedy their personnel issue. New bartender Raquel is so awesome.... she is welcoming and on top of things... the service was incredible and this bar is still a blast... even though i am no longer there miss tina (the new manager) has done an excellent job on hiring and running this place. I totally recommend stopping in to meet raquel... customer service is outstanding and meet thei the manager tina, She is more than willing to make your trip a memorable one. Still no smoking so they made their patio so much more comfortable for us who want to have a cig. Definitely still the place to visit on the island. Nice to have a smoke free bar but the bartender smokes and she spent all her time outside on the back porch smoking and sitting with her friends. To get service we had to disrupt our conversation and leave our table, go outside and find her, ask her to come in and serve us. Irritating. Why not stay home and fix your own drinks. To start with the new transplant owner went on and on about hating locals and, even with his diminuitive stature, he had threatened to "break the neck" of one patron. Over and over he said it. He obviously likes young bartenders more than his wife, who was also there. Beer is beer and bar food is what it is. Nothing special and we will not likely go back. They should leave the patrons alone or hire someone who has a clue how to hostess, with less aggression.
