If laughter is the best medicine, then Stir Crazy Comedy Club is basically a CVS but with a bar. We hit up Open Mic Night on a Wednesday for $6 a person--which is cheaper than therapy and wayyyy more entertaining. These comics had me laughing so hard I almost choked on my chicken fingers (a noble way to go, honestly). Service was fast and friendly, like they knew we were one bad joke away from getting hangry. We got the chicken fingers with fries and a burger with fries--because clearly we like our food shaped like fingers or circles, and accompanied by fries. Speaking of which, the fry portion was generous. And that burger? Toppings were fresher than a college freshman with a thesaurus. Bonus: $12 burger and beer deal. That's less than I paid for popcorn at the movies last week. Would I come back? Absolutely. My face still hurts from laughing--and I might be in love with the fries.

Got to meet with Gabriel after the show and buy merch

It was our first time to Stir Crazy Comedy in Glendale. Although it was a long drive it was definitely worth it. It's located in Westgate, on the upper level fairly easy to find. When we walked in we were greeted by Tom. He took our name and we were immediately seated. He was a great host. He came out and introduced the opening act and got the crowd going. The opening acts were excellent. We were there to see Gabriel Rutledge, but it was a pleasant surprise to have some other comics. When Gabriel came out, he mesmerized the crowd for over an hour with his incredible sense of humor. We belly laughed out loud and just enjoy the night. The club did have a two drink minimum which was fine. They had a good selection of drinks to choose from including non-alcoholic and alcoholic. We also opted to get food in house and it was great. We had the burger, taco salad fries, a buffalo chicken wrap a whole variety of items and all of them were great! The staff took great care of the tables not interrupting the comics. We would definitely recommend seeing Gabriel although I do know that he has sold out the rest of the the weekend but next time he's in town check him out and give Stir Crazy a chance.

We had a great time here at Stir Crazy Comedy Club. It's clean and I really like the way the seating is laid out. No assigned seats so we got there early and sat right in the front. Staff is excellent and you just press a button for them to come take your order. Loved the bacon and caramel popcorn! My only complaint would be I would love a mock tail menu for those who don't drink but want a feel like they are having a cocktail.

Great club! Monkey approved!

Stir Crazy is a very well run comedy club. They offer a wide variety of comedy from squeaky clean to umm...not so clean. Our favorites are the Clean Comedy Open mic shows and Clean Comedy Nights. Food, drinks, and, service are always good. Feeling a little blue? Well, laughter is the spice of life. Hurray for comedy!

I was too harsh with the drink menu previously. The comedy shows are top notch and we come here often too. Service is actually very good. And it's stand up comedy which we love, well worth thethe visits!

Food was good, service was great. The atmosphere in here is perfect. The host was hilarious. We saw Steven Quezada headline and he had everyone shouting laughing the entire time. His set was on point. Loved seeing another Hispanic comedian out there feel like there isn't too many. A lot of his stuff hit home. This was our first time in a comedy club and Stir Crazy did not disappoint!

This is an excellent comedy club. Small, intimate, and no seat is a bad seat. The staff is excellent.

It was fun. Just a little pricey compared to others. One of the comedians was not good at all. The other 2 were funny.

Phil always welcomes me with a kind, warm smile, remembers me every time and lets me choose my seat up front! Enjoyed the Caesar salad with chicken tonight! Food does take a little while to come out, so please be kind and patient. They're working very hard. I would love to see some additional options added to the menu. I have to share, tonight was different than most. I'm blown away by the professionalism and skill of the caliber of comedians they bring. Josh Adam Myers and his crew handled a very difficult table up front with grace and playfulness in a way that was next-level -- this group was very obviously uncomfortable with the edgier humor and seemed completely unaware of how their energy was affecting others in the room, let alone the comedians braving the stage and simply wanting to make people happy. Josh managed to turn what could have dampened the evening into an inspiring interplay with the audience--remarkable in how he kept the energy positive. It's a reminder that the way we carry ourselves can either uplift or dim the atmosphere around us. Also... he hangs out with Jelly Roll and has an amazing dog, so go support him and his posse at another show this weekend!

I was happy to see him make a stop in AZ and was excited to get tickets. Prices were fair and easy to purchase online with will call pickup at the door - alphabetized by last name. We found parking nearby and there seems to be plenty of it (personally I would avoid any paid lots and stick to the free ones). The club itself is small and intimate; we were sat at the table right in front of the stage next to another party, but thankfully with a chair buffer in between us. I'm guessing when the tix sell out, it would be more crowded. They do have booths in the back for vip seating. I love that there's no drink minimum here and that complimentary cold water is served. I tried a slice of one of the pizzas and I liked it, it had shrimp, artichoke, olives and other toppings. Service was friendly and available. The host, opener, and headliner were all funny and we enjoyed our night here. I got hot during the show but may have been all the laughing. I'd come back and see another show!

There are booths and tables, all which provide a great view, except you're assigned a seat already and if you're upfront and right underneath the comedians, not as great. My espresso martini tasted like chocolate milk and was watered down. But the lemon drop martini was good. Btw- Get the pizookie!

Purchased tickets for a show last night…read more Been here prior and it was great. Unsure why the ball has dropped so far from the once great place. Doors opened at 8 pm. They were nice enough to provide mini water bottles in the line, since it was so hot standing in line outside. We were told to go through Copper Blues for entry, which I had previously not done at the prior show, and asked to just stand there. All the tables were taken, and there was just a huge crowd standing around all these full tables. Waitresses come up to you for a drink order, but when you order from them, it does not count towards your 2 minimum drink order inside the club. There were overserving A LOT of guests. Women were extremely drunk, and a lot of men were becoming aggressive. No organization as to how we were supposed to line up, or stand. A lot of shit talking about people feeling like others were cutting them in line, yet no clear instructions on how to line up if you didn't have a wristband of blue or yellow. Ushered into the comedy room and put in a booth which was nice and close to the stage. Told again about the 2 drink mininum. My spouse and I ordred 1 alchoholic beverage each, and 1 soda each. It was $60.00 before tip.

I know if I get a seat here every seat in the room is a good seat. They have a very good sound system. I would say the serving staff are all very friendly here. I typically end up getting wine when I have to meet my two drink minimum. However, they do have several cocktail arrangements that you can choose from. What I like is that for each performer they typically will have a specialty cocktail designed around that actual comedian. So I like that approach. I usually like to catch the early show cause the crowd vibe is a little bit chiller. However, I've never had an issue at this establishment and will continue to catch my favorite comedians here. As I do think they extent a diverse roster of comedians. The last time that we attended, we actually ordered some food. And I really enjoyed the wings. I thought they did a really good job on the buffalo wings and the sauce was very tangy and the wings were fried hard as requested. The show was hilarious though & we had a wonderful time. This makes for an awesome date night. One thing I did not enjoy is that I was seated across from my husband, I would have preferred being next to him, so we could talk to one another a bit easier... We did not order food, but I got Sangria. One of the best Sangrias I have had, to be honest! I was very disappointed to hear that a single shot does not qualify for the "2 Drink Minimum". I feel that should be mentioned on the menu for guests, because if I had ordered the shot, assuming it counted, I would have been furious! I also think it's a bit ridiculous that you cannot order food in place of the drinks? As long as people are spending money on something, why should it matter???? We had a good time, and will be back in the future. I just hope that they will consider modifying their business structure in a way that makes a little bit more sense.

My husband and I came here for his birthday to see Steve Byrne…read more We love comedy but we have littles and don't get out much. They had an earlier show at 4pm and it made the bday weekend special- yes, aware that sounds old. At 40 and as early-birds... if it doesn't happen before 5- it's a hard pass!! Ironically this was definitely noted in his act having a 4pm show! After parking and getting lost in the parking garage- yeah, we don't make it into the city much but we got a couple flights of stairs in for no apparent reason that would later benefit the additional IPAs we drank during the show ‍ I loved that we got sat right in front next to the stage. Before I go anywhere I look into reviews on Yelp and Google to see the do/donts, and deals/tricks. Yes, plan to get comfy with your neighbor- they sit parties across from one another. As a party of two we sat next to another couple and so on. I'll admit, I'm not a size zero and my husband is 6'5- it was a bit uncomfortable. I can't imagine being on the thicker side or even an elder managing to get out and maneuver around seated patrons to go to the restroom and what not. We knew the two drink minimum would be required so we opt for the beer bucket that included six beers of your choice mix/match accordingly. Worked out great since they had Church Music and we shared an order of wings as we had dinner plans later. Service was great! Our server checked on us multiple times throughout the show. Reviews mention that it gets hot in there since they pack everyone in. It was freezing and I didn't take my jacket. I would've went back to the car to get it but it's a walk and we got lost on the way in lol. In Arizona businesses overcompensate during the summer and you'll find you wear your jacket more in the summer months inside than during the winter. Parking is free- just make sure you take your ticket with you and they'll scan it. We will definitely be back- yes, drinks are overpriced and tickets were reasonable. As for the show- not bad. Great laughs carried throughout and it's always dependent on the act which should be a separate review from the venue. Looking forward to more date nights in the city for sure!
