Went with several friends last night to see Monique Marvez. Hysterical! We didn't have any food, but we did have drinks.I believe you have to order at least one regardless.They were well priced, thirteen dollars for a long island iced tea. The venue is great pretty much anywhere.You sit, you have a good seat, much like the celebrity theater. Staff was attentive albeit, having help from a little neon sign on your table. Just press a button, turns from blue to green, that lets them know that you need service. It's great! You don't have to hunt for a server.And because they are lit neon signs, it's very easy for them to spot it.They come right away. Tickets for this event were reasonably priced. If laughter is the best medicine, then Stir Crazy Comedy Club is basically a CVS but with a bar. We hit up Open Mic Night on a Wednesday for $6 a person--which is cheaper than therapy and wayyyy more entertaining. These comics had me laughing so hard I almost choked on my chicken fingers (a noble way to go, honestly). Service was fast and friendly, like they knew we were one bad joke away from getting hangry. We got the chicken fingers with fries and a burger with fries--because clearly we like our food shaped like fingers or circles, and accompanied by fries. Speaking of which, the fry portion was generous. And that burger? Toppings were fresher than a college freshman with a thesaurus. Bonus: $12 burger and beer deal. That's less than I paid for popcorn at the movies last week. Would I come back? Absolutely. My face still hurts from laughing--and I might be in love with the fries. read more

It was our first time to Stir Crazy Comedy in Glendale. Although it was a long drive it was definitely worth it. It's located in Westgate, on the upper level fairly easy to find. When we walked in we were greeted by Tom. He took our name and we were immediately seated. He was a great host. He came out and introduced the opening act and got the crowd going. The opening acts were excellent. We were there to see Gabriel Rutledge, but it was a pleasant surprise to have some other comics. When Gabriel came out, he mesmerized the crowd for over an hour with his incredible sense of humor. We belly laughed out loud and just enjoy the night. The club did have a two drink minimum which was fine. They had a good selection of drinks to choose from including non-alcoholic and alcoholic. We also opted to get food in house and it was great. We had the burger, taco salad fries, a buffalo chicken wrap a whole variety of items and all of them were great! The staff took great care of the tables not interrupting the comics. We would definitely recommend seeing Gabriel although I do know that he has sold out the rest of the the weekend but next time he's in town check him out and give Stir Crazy a chance. read more

We had a great time here at Stir Crazy Comedy Club. It's clean and I really like the way the seating is laid out. No assigned seats so we got there early and sat right in the front. Staff is excellent and you just press a button for them to come take your order. Loved the bacon and caramel popcorn! My only complaint would be I would love a mock tail menu for those who don't drink but want a feel like they are having a cocktail. read more

Freaking amazing comedians last night and their burger is crazy good! From the moment you walk in, the staff is friendly and helpful. The club has a cool vibe where it can be intimate if you sit in the front in the splash zone but there are plenty of seats all around to stay anonymous. Just don't heckle the comics. This place is a hidden gem. It is between Kabuki grill and Lumberjaxes upstairs. It is small and perfect for a date night, happy hour with the girls which was us 7 Saturday night, or just to see a great show. We really enjoy this spot and go quite often. My only real complaint is how uncomfortable the chairs are there. We went with some friends last night (would also be nice if you had a few sets of 2 tables facing each other) and we all said by the last 20 min. Great show tonight, although there was an accidental prop malfunction with one comedian, but the staff was amazing how they handled it, and after a few minutes the show was able to continue. Small, cozy lovely venue. Service was great, drinks good. Staff wonderful. We just happened to hit it on a night where the comedy left a lot to be desired. Very crude and not our thing. Also, didn't appreciate the comedians honoring and trying to make a hero out of a killer, the man who murdered the CEO of United Health Care. Not funny. Not something our society should do with murderers as it makes it seem to people it is ok to murder someone and part of the reason our society accepts violence these days. We have been dropping into Stir Crazy over the past few years and recently saw a tremendous burst of comedic energy. It has always been great fun but we enjoyed the warm up so much! Ron Morley's humor was so physically funny. He left us exhausted just watching him. As he walked out on the stage, I turned to my man and said,"He looks like a politician." Nothing can be funnier than that. He delivered. Headliner was Ron Josol. The energy was high and the comedy was so true to life. Our final thank you goes to Dylan White. He was greatly amusing. He was the warm up to the warm up but damn funny. I have friends named White and I understand the embarrassment. Dylan is a bright star ready to light our night skies. read more

If you're ever in need of a laugh attack, Stir Crazy Comedy Club is great place to go. It's a small, but cozy venue located in the Westgate entertainment district, within close proximity to restaurants and shops. In addition to the shows, they offer a limited food and cocktail menu. While my sister and I had difficulty finding a nearby parking space, our short hike in the rain from the lot to the club was well worth it because the comedy show was excellent. It's a relief to know that comedy, especially the satiric kind, is alive and well. read more

Pleasantly surprised with open mic this past Wednesday. Staff and service were great! Food was just meh. I don't think they sell many burgers, the burger was pretty good but the buns were a little on the stale side. The drinks kinda fell flat. No hard alcohol just wine based "spirits". The coffee was good! The comedians were very entertaining; exceeded my expectations knowing it was open mic and most were amateur. Word of advice for the "angry" young man who works at Victoria secret: next time you're folding panties at the front of the store and punks walk by calling you names... give those panties a good long intense sniff then nod at them with all of that cockyness you possess as if to say "you wish you could be me" read more

We were just looking for something to do and they were advertising Sunday as "Clean Comedy Night". Going to a comedy club we didn't need it to be clean comedy, but it was a good price and sounded fun. We have not laughed that hard in a long time. It was indeed clean comedy. There were several younger children in the audience and I do not think any joke would offend them. In fact, the comedians seemed to enjoy seeing the younger audience members and had a couple of them come up on stage to participate. I got the impression they do the clean show once a month. For the price it was well worth it. The audience laughed very hard through all four comedians that performed, especially the feature act who was very in sync with the audience. Just to add a little information about the club itself: it is rather intimate, maybe seating for around 100. They do serve drinks and food, but I do not believe they had a minimum spend for drinks or food. We each had one drink and they were reasonably priced. Most of the tables are set up as tables of two facing the stage and it is first come first seated for most of the tables. If you had a larger group, the tables are side-by-side. In most columns you could seat six, maybe eight across, but they would be in twos at each small table. I felt like it was well set-up for the audience. We were about 30 minutes early and the place was already pretty packed, but we were able to get a table. By the time the show started there were not a lot of empty seats, so I would advise getting there a little earlier than we did. read more
