Large screens

Came in for a Cowboys game with my sis and brother in law . Good atmosphere, great amount of T.V.s The food was a bit off I had ordered at first some buffalo chicken wings and the taste was not good and were undercooked as well .. burgers are ok , fries are good ... service is ok .. but you can play some games during half time .. but staff is friendly gotta say that .

Had a fun Sunday football day at Harkins BackLot in Norterra and here is how it went. There is so much seating room and the big screens make it a great place to watch the games. It really felt like the perfect spot for a casual sports hangout. We went bowling for about an hour and it was fun, but definitely on the pricey side. The queso fundido was tasty and we really enjoyed it. The Southwest BBQ wrap on the other hand was cold and bland which was disappointing. A pitcher of beer was twenty three dollars which also felt expensive. Overall it is a fun place if you want to catch a game, bowl, and hang out with friends, but be prepared to spend more than you would at a regular sports bar.

Amazing place to watch a game. Arya was an amazing waitress who truly wanted to take care of us. She was very kind and truly cared about service. The drinks were great and great prices. The best thing about the place was the huge tv to watch the game. The only thing better would have been watching the Diamondbacks win instead of lose.

Spicy Mango Margarita & Espresso Martini

The Harkins Backlot is a brand hangout spot that offers bowling, arcade games, and a restaurant/bar. It's not a huge place but it is a good size and offers a good amount of arcade games. It's smaller than Dave and Busters but larger than Uptown Alley in Surprise, AZ if you are familiar. They have really great large screens in the dining area. We asked if they were going to be showing any games or UFC fights because it would be great to watch with their large projection screens. At the moment they said they want to keep it family friendly so no fights but they do plan to show some games so we will most likely return to see a couple and have some food/drinks. The drinks were pretty good! We enjoyed the spicy mango margarita and the espresso martini. We also ordered some queso and split The Fight Club sandwich. The queso really impressed me because at a lot of places it's fairly runny but this one was very thick and you could taste the real cheese and chorizo. It was not spicy at all but really good. I also really enjoyed the house made tortilla chips. The sandwich was a decent size but not huge but we really enjoyed it. It was like a BLT with turkey and it was supposed to have jalapeño bacon but I honestly didn't taste the jalapeño at all, however it was nice and crispy. Being the grand opening and all they are currently offering 25% off throughout the end of July on food (excluding alcoholic beverages) and on bowling. They are not offering 25% on arcade games however we received some extra points to play more games on our card. Everything is new and top notch. They have really cool motion games such as the fast and furious one and there was another that was almost like little space ships. I hadn't seen those before but they were a lot of fun! Food is a bit pricy but it doesn't taste like reheated frozen stuff. I see some complaints regarding the prices but honestly it's not priced terribly out of the ordinary in my opinion. I included some photos of the menu with prices for reference. I'd highly recommend checking it out to take advantage of that 25% off.

Been here twice. They seem to have a good setup for sports to watch on TV at the bar and next to the bar is like a bigger TV pit. I tried the $10 quesadilla, plus five for chicken and it was good, but standard bar fare. It wasn't really elevated, but that's fine. A good addition to the area.

Stopped by here for the first time and this place is pretty darn cool! Definitely fun to bring the kiddos! Or even on a date! Or just with friends. This place has lots to do from bowling, darts, lots of arcade games! You can go to the bar and get drinks or just sit anywhere available and a server will come to you to get your order and drinks! The ambiance in here is so cool! The food was also yummy! I got the mac and cheese and also got the carne asada nachos! Both were so good! The nachos could use more toppings felt a little light on that portion but still good! The mac and cheese was creamy and not dry! It was good! We also got the donut holes and the raspberry is top tier! The chocolate was also pretty good, but that raspberry sauce was it!! Definitely a vibe in here. Definitely recommend to check it out!

This location in Chandler is huge with both inside and outside seating for a very comfortable experience. They also feature live music with local And some traveling artists. You won't find anyone famous here but solid musicians none the less. The only knock is we have found the service to be consistently slow. Just a little off as if the servers have too Many tables. We do still recommend though - an all around solid spot.

To give credit where it's due, the ambience of the restaurant was great. The live music was enjoyable and the dancing created a fun atmosphere. The women's restroom was also impressive -- clean, well stocked, and the mirror with the neon sign made for a great photo moment. Unfortunately, the service and food did not live up to the setting. Our waitress appeared overwhelmed and, at times, came across as outright rude. I understand the pressures of working in a busy restaurant, but hospitality is still the foundation of the service industry. I actually found myself going out of my way to "kill her with kindness" just to avoid receiving the same snarky tone she used with some of my friends. It worked -- she was civil with me -- but it shouldn't take that level of effort from guests. The food was where things really fell apart. The buffet setup was poorly executed. The foil buffet pans repeatedly slipped into the chafing water, which ended up soaking the food. Any experienced food service professional knows the proper way to handle this: bring the replacement pan first and swap them out simultaneously. Instead, the staff removed the empty pans and walked back to the kitchen, leaving empty slots in the buffet while guests waited. As a result, several dishes were compromised. The mac and cheese was completely runny, clearly diluted from water getting into the pan. This happened to multiple items. The fried pickles were also a miss -- not crispy, extremely salty and sour, and tasted like low-quality hamburger dill pickle chips that had been breaded and fried. No one at our table enjoyed them and several people commented that they were far too tangy. There also seemed to be serious communication issues between the kitchen and the floor staff. Buffet items were frequently empty and slow to be replaced. The "salad," if you could call it that, was essentially a bowl of lettuce with no tomatoes, cucumbers, or vegetables -- just plain greens. Toward the end of service, the restaurant even ran out of dinner plates, leaving remaining guests to use small salad plates. The only items I somewhat enjoyed were the margarita pizza flatbread and the bacon jalapeño wontons, which were decent but nothing memorable. Beyond that, my meal consisted mostly of a bowl of very uninspired lettuce. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, it genuinely pains me to leave such a critical review. I don't write this out of spite, but out of hope that management sees it as an opportunity to evaluate what's happening on the floor and in the kitchen. There is clearly potential here given the atmosphere and entertainment. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don't see myself returning anytime soon.

Unfortunately, on check-in no explanation about the activities was given so we were on our own trying to figure it out. Overall, the entertainment options are fun and we had a great time! The employees are hit or miss. Some are not very friendly or helpful and some are. Colton needs to be recognized because once he took over helping us with the attractions our experience went from 3 to 5 stars. He explained everything thoroughly to us, helped me choose which would be best for having motion sickness, and overall just made our experience very enjoyable by paying attention to small details. It seems they were operating on a skeleton crew this day. We sat and tried to order food and there was only one server for everyone. Needless to say, it took quite a while to be able to even place an order. The go-kart experience runs like a well oiled machine and was probably the smoothest experience we had out of everything there. Overall we had a ton of fun, but this place really needs to work on training their employees for better customer service and experience.

The area is huge with tons of arcade games. The racing was fun although it was hard to know when it was starting. The safety brief/orientation was a minimum. It was hard to hear the staff especially with our helmets on. Also did not like that they used our full government name for the leaderboard (especially bc this was sent via email)- would've liked the option for an alias or just first names. The VR game was very immersive (reminded me of Disney's VOID but scaled down). The racing simulator and 7D experience was just ok. Waiting for attractions, there would be either no staff to help (and you're waiting in line for nothing) or an over abundance of staff hanging around.
