Another great night at the comedy club. My server Lexy was a sweetheart and the long time house staff are always just so good to me! Phil always welcomes me with a kind, warm smile, remembers me every time and lets me choose my seat up front! Enjoyed the Caesar salad with chicken tonight! Food does take a little while to come out, so please be kind and patient. They're working very hard. I would love to see some additional options added to the menu. I have to share, tonight was different than most. I'm blown away by the professionalism and skill of the caliber of comedians they bring. Josh Adam Myers and his crew handled a very difficult table up front with grace and playfulness in a way that was next-level -- this group was very obviously uncomfortable with the edgier humor and seemed completely unaware of how their energy was affecting others in the room, let alone the comedians braving the stage and simply wanting to make people happy. Josh managed to turn what could have dampened the evening into an inspiring interplay with the audience--remarkable in how he kept the energy positive. It's a reminder that the way we carry ourselves can either uplift or dim the atmosphere around us. Fun place to watch some stand up. I came to see Tony B, his finance and friends. They were hilarious!!! The show started off with funny video clips and music. I thought that was a fun introduction. I did not order any food but I did have a small piece of a friend's buffalo chicken flatbread. My friend thought it was a little too spicy. I enjoyed it. Service started off slow so a few people went up front to the entrance where the bar was to order a drink. During the show, services seemed to pick up. I have been to several comedy venues in Phoenix. Rick Bronson's House of Comedy is the closest one to me. Located on High Street in Desert Ridge, parking shouldn't be a problem either on the street (for free) or in the complimentary parking garage. Both of the comedy shows I've seen here have been on Thursday evenings. The comedy venue is surrounded by a bunch of restaurants and bars, so I've grabbed dinner in the area each time before the show. I haven't had any food at Rick Bronson's, so I can't comment on that. But, you'll likely be drinking because the venue has a two-drink minimum for person. Which I find a bit annoying, but it's standard in Phoenix. If adult beverages aren't your thing, you can purchase soft drinks or mocktails. If adult beverages are your thing, there's a decent cocktail list, and a limited beer and wine list. Service has been standard both times. The venue itself is solid. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. Since it's a smaller venue compared to other comedy clubs in town, it makes for a more intimate experience. You won't see as many headliners as bigger comedy clubs, but you'll still have a good time. Make sure to join their email list. They often give out free tickets (the two drink minimum notwithstanding). read more

It's always a fun evening out when we get to come here. And I am happy to not be crowded in like other places. My only complaint from before and to today is not having a menu to look at other then on my phone. And it's dark and I'm old so put those things together and you see my complaint. I do appreciate the alcohol free drink options as I don't drink, but wanted something that had the look of alcohol. The food was actually quite good too. It's a nice size club and parking in the garage isn't bad as you can take the breezeway shortcut in. read more

Came here for the Tony D and Ed Bassmaster show and it was so good!! Great jokes nice crowd and it was nice they didn't call us out for anything haha :p. Lots of jokes about Blue Martini where we may have ended up later and AZ heat and tons of other stuff. Food tasted great too and large space great vibes! And Dos Equis beer with limee was awesome my new go-to and I even got to teach it to someone :). read more

Had a great time here to support my friend who performed in one of the Sunday Showcases. Nice clean environment inside, and the waiters do a great job managing the tables throughout the show. Their menu seems to be a little out of date- my friends and I were both told that they no longer served or were out of what we tried to order. It was completely to the side of the stage, that table shouldn't even exist. If you are there before others, I feel like I should be able to have some choice in where to sit. It was quite easy to purchase tickets online and get seated when we arrived. We opted for the dinner and premium seat option- to be honest I wish we had just ordered a la carte, felt weird eating a protein entree in a dark comedy club while watching the show. That said the fish was actually quite delicious- as well the apple crisp was thin and crispy! My partner got the sundae and it was very lack lustre for a sundae. Last night the comedians were not funny and we're constantly calling the audience old people. The audience was comprised mostly of 40 to 55-year-olds ...that is not old.. I don't think insulting. While the comedy is great and a fun place to go with friends, the service is lacking. We had quite a big party, however, our server was very rude when we wanted to order drinks and food. What a great fun place for a birthday, date night or just in need of a good laugh!!! Went this past Saturday(Sep28) and omg my boyfriend and I were dying laughing the whole time!! All the gentlemen performing that night did a great job! The staff is great and just as amazing as getting you a refill on your drinks quickly without disturbing the show! a plus from my boyfriend was that they have a great mock tail drink menu!! Came out with a group on a random Friday night and this place was hopping! It was a sold-out show with Fahim Anwar as the headliner. Drinks were decent (there's a smoky margarita that was pretty tasty), and service was acceptably prompt considering the comedy show setting. Fahim Anwar absolutely killed it; our group ranged in age and backgrounds and everyone was laughing throughout. The opening acts relied too heavily on raunchy jokes, however. I'm all for inappropriate humor, but the majority of the time we were laughing more at the cringe-worthy situation and less at the content. My previous stand-up experience has been in New York City, though, so I probably am a bit of a tough critic on the opening acts. I'd definitely go back again! read more

The sets could have been longer for some and there could have been fewer performers but it was nice all around. The price to get in was okay. The two item minimum was the way it is. We went to see "Rocky Loporte", he is one of my favorite comedians. The last time we saw him, it was four years ago in Denver, lord know we needed a laugh! Rocky, you didn't let us down. Ron Mory was the opener for Rocky, we loved his humor and his facial expressions were to die for, this man is funny. Devin Clark was the middle act. He had some really great lines. Rick Bronson House of comedy know how to entertain, price for the show was well spent. Heather greeted us by being excited to see us. I love people like that. Rebecca arranged our tickets, she was so pleasant. Anna took care of us in the bar area, she also was great. The kids were both invited to a birthday party so we hit the early show. We got there about a half hour early and the host guided us to the very front seats in front of the stage, aka introverts worst nightmare. I asked if there was another option, I ended up between two couples with my husband across from me (the only one on that side of the table). Awkward. The server was friendly and prompt - until the end when the lights were up and he was MIA (apparently computer issues). The comedians were ok, funny bits, but not overly impressive. The food was actually pretty decent. It was my first time checking this place out. I wouldn't recommend it if you're feeling burnt out from all the "black fatigue". I went with family and friends, and we ended up spending around $260 plus admission, a 22% tip, and we took an Uber to get there and back. If you think it's hilarious to get roasted by racist comedians and don't mind paying top dollar, then this spot might be for you. But if you'd rather not deal with insults and a lot of left-wing nonsense, you should skip it. read more

However, the seating is odd, because you're forced to dine directly across from strangers, with your plate of food completely exposed; of course laughing while BOTH eat their food (no doubt) an exchange of projecting droplets & tiny food particles on each other's plates. YUK! PLEASE correct me if I am wrong, but didn't we just recently experience a COVID virus pandemic??? That is NOT funny! Regardless of the compromised hygiene. I must admit the staff is very nice, the place is not tacky, and it's a perfect "date night" place. Had a great time here. Mary opened and we saw Keon Polee and Keenan Baker. All the comedians were funny!!! It felt great to laugh especially during this pandemic. Major kudos to the club and the comedians making us laugh in the times we need it the most. We used a Groupon and called to reserve our tickets for the particular show we wanted to attend. We had to pick up our tickets at will call once we got there. There was a bit of a line at the ticket office; I wish there was a separate line for will call but it seemed there was only one person working in the ticket office. So that was the only inconvenience, but other than that we enjoyed a great night of comedy at a clean, modern venue. They took our temperature, provided hand sanitizer and clean bathrooms, and socially distanced groups that attended. There was a 2-item order minimum per person, but this was reasonable to pay wait staff. Rick Bronson's is located in a new shopping development in North Phoenix with cute shops, bars, and a great steakhouse in the same shopping complex. There is 2 hour parking right in front of the comedy club with security walking around so safety of your vehicle shouldn't be an issue. There is also a larger lot nearby (a short walk from the comedy club). We had fun here and would return if in Arizona again. read more
