And she said, "no, She gave me day old bread." Which I did pay full price for. I asked if I could have a fresh loaf because the one they had given me was very hard. She said, "no, if I want fresh I have to ask for fresh." I couldn't believe I was told that., Then I talked to the manager. He said the same thing, "you have to ask if you want fresh bread" I honestly couldn't believe they told a customer that. Will I be back? "Yes", but very disappointed in the reply. I'd guess +/- 50% of pastries have names and fillings labeled in display case. Customers receive a plastic tray and a pair of tongs at entry, then they can wander around. Then, take the tray to the cashier who loads the items into bags and totals the bill. As far as I could tell, the staff speak very little English.
