Nothing fantastic about this place. Just another those Americanized Chinese place. The rice is better than I expected tho

I used to stop here on my way back in to town and it was always a hole in the wall eatery that had good food. The eggrolls were my favorite and I always got shrimp fried rice. Ok so TODAY, I walk up to the joint and I thought it was closed but the "Open" light was on. I go in and was in shock for how bad this place looks now. It was never nice but really shocked to see the decline in its appearance. I ordered eggrolls and shrimp fried rice as usual. The food is different too. Eggrolls still had the good stuff on the inside but they were so greasy like maybe they had already been fried and set aside and then put back in the hot grease to warm them up??? The shrimp fried rice was good. I love how they put so many vegetables in it. It has onions, peas, carrots, mushrooms, celery, zucchini, egg and shrimp. Unfortunately, the shrimp they are using now are not as good as they used to be. It was missing a char taste that you get from a well seasoned wok. Like how they used to taste. I'm so disappointed. I probably wont go back. Please clean up the place and serve fresh eggrolls again.

While this may be a nice place for some American Chinese food. This is definitely not a great place for some authentic Chinese food.

Not that great...egg roll tasted a bit off. Small portions for paying $9 for spicy chicken dinner combo. Way too much sauce.

Eh, it's just okay. It's not my favorite Chinese place in Mebane but it is the only other place I will eat if my first choice is closed.

My request: Either raise your prices to cover credit card fees, or give guests a 3% cash discount. My meal, the Charleston Crab Cakes, was really good too (I asked that they put the creamed corn on the side -- the crab cakes will come on top of the creamed corn if you don't make a special request). But when (not if) we return, I will be ordering the seafood pasta for sure because it was that good! A friend recommended the pork chops and the burgers. The ambience is quaint and the indoor dining space is very small and cozy. There was a bit of a wait when we arrived. I recommend making a reservation if you don't want to dine outdoors. It was January so too cold for us to eat outdoors because there is no heating and the overhead fans were on! Also, please bring a little patience for parking because this restaurant is in an area of downtown with limited parking.

BEWARE OF THE RED PEPPER SYMBOL on the menu!!!! If you love spicy, indulge! If you are sensitive or…read morecan't handle spice, run faaaaar away from these items. Most places put a pepper symbol and it's not spicy at all, but this single red pepper symbol means business!!!!!! I'm sensitive to spice at the moment so eating my food was a bit of a marathon....but in a good way! Think runny nose & sweating hot with tons of delicious flavor. To start, we served wonton strips with a white yum yum type sauce which was a nice surprise. For our app we had the crab puffs (crab ragoons) which of course were not spicy, perfectly crispy and had the right amount of filling. I also ordered a dragon roll which came out after my main entree since the sushi bar was backed up. This actually worked out perfect because the cream cheese in the roll was a great way to calm the spice in my main entree. The mango and crab on the roll were very fresh, and the size was also pretty hefty for being an 8 piece roll. I could have easily made this into a lighter full meal. For my main entree I got the spicy basil with chicken (red pepper sign alert!!!), brown rice and miso soup. The miso soup was good as expected, the brown rice was cooked to perfection and served in a side bowl, and the main entree was plentiful with perfectly cooked veggies & chicken! This dish brought the heat but in a very good way!!! I couldn't get enough of that spicy basil flavor!!!! I only ate half the dish so looking forward to a delicious lunch today! Can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes but while I'm sensitive to spice at the moment I may avoid the pepper symbol for a bit!

It took a…read moregood 4-5 minutes sitting at the bar before we were greeted, but after that service was prompt and efficient. We ordered the 1/2 order of fried banana peppers, dry rub wings, a bacon jam burger and tots. Oh! and beer! The star of the night was the banana peppers. Tangy and delicious, the small was huge! The wings were def done right and although I'm a blue cheese fan, the ranch was better. I'm knocking off one star for the burger. It was $16 (with tots) but it was tiny! It had one slice of red onion, a few shreds of lettuce, maybe a teaspoon of bacon jam and I'm not certain it had cheese at all. It tasted great, and the tots were perfect, but for that price I expected a burger that was bigger and more substantial than a $4 burger from Jimmy's. With all the other stuff (we shared) we were full but on its own, that burger would've been a disappointment. I'll go back for those banana peppers and wings, but I'll skip that little bitty burger.

They were quick and attentive. My friend and I both ordered their sour beers on tap. I ordered for lunch the Nickel-fil-a sandwich with cucumber salad and my friend ordered their 6 wings and a side salad. $14.50 for mine, which felt steep for just a sandwich a side but maybe I would have felt different if I got the french fries. The sandwich was very good. We chatted for about 2 hours and enjoyed our time.
