Arrived on our first day and decided to try Stix! Wasnt a lot of people during early lunch time. More people ended up coming in later for dinner. No reservation needed at all. Ordered the Rikamaru Miso Ramen and the Tonkatsu Ramen. Both overpriced for the quality of food we received. Broth was watery, not flavorful. Noodles tasted like prepackaged noodles that were just soaked in hot water for 10 minutes. Overall, do not recommend. Service was great though and tended to us when needed. Also got our food reasonably and ordered at a reasonable wait time.

The decor is contemporary, clean and bright. The servers are attentive and polite. The menu looks good. There are noodle soups, rice dishes, and appetizers. However, the food was lacking in spice. I ordered a chicken kaprow that had three pepper icons next to its name on the menu; however, it was not spicy at all. My son ordered fried rice. The portion size was very large and generous, but it was too buttery and too oily. Based on the commercial, I saw on my hotel television, I expected this to be more authentic, but it was not. It's Americanized Asian food, so set your expectations accordingly. I would not recommend this place due to the price and lack of flavor in the food.

Ordered an ahi tuna thai salad to go and it was an appalling $30, but thus is the standard for food at the baha mar. As for the salad, it was pretty delicious and a good fresh, healthy option! Generous portion of ahi tuna, I was so full I couldn't even finish it. Fair warning - they don't skimp on the spice on this salad! I liked the edition of mango slivers.

This is one of the cheapest and most casual restaurants on the Baha Mar Resort property but it doesn't lack in flavor or friendliness! Our service was great, just like everywhere else on property. The prices are still more expensive than back in the States but that's expected at Baha Mar. We started with the Ahi Tuna and it was definitely on the spicy side! The presentation was fun and the portion was large. For my meal, I went with Chicken Pad Thai, and it was pretty good. Overall, convenient location in the lobby near the casino with an open atmosphere. The menu has a variety of options for all ages and the staff was very helpful recommending dishes!

The food is below average and ridiculously overpriced after the automatic service charge and VAT. The service was also unacceptably slow. We arrived at the restaurant right around the time it opened. So there were only a few other tables besides us. Somehow, it still took over 45 minutes for the food to arrive. It wasn't like we ordered things that were hard to cook. We ordered a pad Thai, miso ramen, two drunken noodles, and a couple of things from the kids menu. A competent restaurant would cook those dishes up in 10 min. Our bill ended up being $228. That's for four entrees, two kids menu items, and six bubble teas. This restaurant is going on my "Never Again" list.

From the few restaurants I've tried in the Baha Mar, this was bit disappointing for my taste. I'm not a fan of szechuan style of food to begin with. I ordered Drunken noodle dish but it still had the Szechuan flavor added. It wasn't the drunken noodle dish that I'm used to so it sucked for me. Kids chicken udon was just ok. Dan Dan noodle was just ok too. Ahi tuna on crispy rice was best dish out of four dishes we ordered for lunch. Service is always good anywhere you go in Baha Mar.

I left this place very furious! The inattentiveness of the staff deserves a 0/5 stars. Food was unbelievable pricey that you'd be better off dining at a fine dining reataurant. The staff threw away my to go food without asking. PLEASE do not even consider eating at this place. LEARN from my mistake eating here. This is not a good place to start your bahamas food experience

I was so disappointed with the service, and the meal. It wasn't what I ordered. It took 30 minutes and the staff was not friendly, just so mechanical.

These weird times allow me complete access to whatever I want here, whenever I want it, no wait. In order to maximize on the spread I returned 3 mornings in a row- sad that I was alone, happy to have this place to myself. I sampled the menu like most of you would turn around to check your butt in the mirror- this is what I came up with: The potstickers were delightful, mostly because the sauce was unexpectedly delicious, sweet, not tangy, just perfect. The Dan Dan- don't do it...unless you like your noodles like you like your men: rock-hard. I prefer al dente but this is just passed that temperature at: stringy witch hair. Fried rice; load it up- all good! This timeless fav, yes!!!! I chose beef and shrimp.... 'cause why not?! The drunken noodle is not my usual order- DO IT! This flat, long, noodle is full of flavors direct from the orient. It's almost smoke- like flavor dazzles as the floppy noodles melt on the tongue. This was my favorite dish of all in this restaurant- hooray! Pad Thai? My second fav. Make sure to sprinkle the peanuts and enjoy. Just what I expected every-time- scrumptious. (If u like this, try the drunken noods) The shrimp, wonton, noodle soup: sooooo... Review after review you hear that any soup here is "bland". (It is). If you must have it- make sure to ask for a bottle of soy sauce. Only prob is that food tastes different when it's cooked in salts- you will not find that here. (I wish they would somehow make it so you could choose the salt level). This is a common problem with any soup, too salty vs. too bland. In this case- ALWAYS DELIBERATELY, UNAPOLOGETICALLY BLAND. They obvi have authentic chefs here- you just wouldn't understand sweetheart. XOXO

Overpriced DUMP! There a ton of better places in the world than this Overpriced crowded POS. $27 for Ramen and plus you get to wait an hour in line for it. This whole resort SUCKS. Please don't come here. There a lot of better places in the world than this place.

This was one of our favorite places to eat at the grand Hyatt! There pork dumplings and they're black pepper beef udon noodles or so fantastic that we had to return again while we were still in town! On both visits our servers were great! Probably some of the better servers we found here! I also tried the pad Thai but it really didn't have a lot going for it. I asked if I could have extra sauce and they brought some around right away and that really made a difference! If we could go back again, we would get the same thing and I would even love to try their spring rolls!

Causal asian dining that satisfied out hungry bellies. Our waitress Desiree made the experience even better. She knew the menu well, asked about allergies and was able to give us good suggestions based on what we told her we liked. We ordered the Singapore noodles, Drunken noodles, black pepper Udon noodles, Shrimp wonton noodles and vegetarian pot stickers. My favorite was the black pepper udon noodles, Gai Lan and the summer Gaisha. The summer Gaisha is refreshing, well balanced cocktail that complemented the meal very well. If you like lychees, I highly recommend you try it.

Everything about the Bahamas was spectacular and the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar was nothing short. Stix was one of the restaurants on the resort and it was a fun experience. Soon as we settled in, we went to grab a bite and there was no vegetarian ramen option on the menu but they made it happen for me. It tasted so good!! I also had the wontons which were delicious as well!

I was pleasantly surprised that I liked my food! The Szechwan wings were the bomb! I had the black pepper steak with udon noodles. We also tried the steak fried rice (just ok) and the Singapore curry noodles which were tasty. read more

They didn't give us water and the coke they gave me didn't taste like normal, it tasted like salt water. Service was awful.

Overpriced and barely edible. This restaurant is within Baha Mar resort, and we thought we would give it a try, but I wish we had not, as it laid my girlfriend in bed for nearly 24 hours. Stay away from this place!! read more

This is more of a 3.5 Star review. Came in here one night while at Baha Mar with my husband and some friends. Here's my general impression: 1. Appetizers-We got the pork belly & teriyaki beef skewers, both were excellent. Couldn't get enough of either, and I should've just ordered that with some rice and called it a night. 2. Entree- This is where I have a problem. I ordered the Fried Singaporean Noodles w/beef (you have the option of beef, chicken, pork or shrimp), and while good, overall, there could've been more with it. The noodles just tasted very dry, and a little bland. There was some heat, but not too much, so that was ok. The beef in the noodles was very dry, as well; no flavor. My recommendation: put the beef (or pork) from the appetizers into the noodles... It'll make it 100x's better. My husband ordered the ramen, and it was very bland, as well. The noodles tasted like they were from frozen/pre-packaged noodles. The pork belly, was a little too chewy for me. Since we had left over pork belly from the appetizers, we put them into the ramen, and it tasted so much better. 3. Overall Take- Other than the main entrees being a little bland/dry, everything else was great. The manager came over to us to ask how everything was, drinks were good, too. read more

We were starving when we got there so we could have eaten anything, and (that said) the food unremarkable. The lemongrass noodle bowl was too salty, and the fried tofu sauce was good but the tofu itself was over cooked. When you factor in the luxury resort location and high prices, this mediocre restaurant is definitely avoidable. read more

The overall experience was decent with ups and downs, mostly down. We were seated promptly by the tables on the left side, which exposed us to all the cigar smoke from the casino. For the first time in months, I had to use my asthma pump because it was that bad. We ordered the pork buns, which my kids devoured. It was not the worst ones we've ever had. I ordered the beef noodle soup and it was such a disappointment. Very bland. I dipped every bite into the vinegar, spicy black bean sauce or paired with the pickled vegetable for flavor. My husband got the Singapore fried noodle. The noodles were very dry but had some more flavor than my noodle soup. For desert, we got the crunchy chocolate moose and it was probably the best part of the dinner. For the price, it's definitely not worth it. But then again, everything in this hotel is ridiculously priced. read more

What an effing insult to asian dishes. The chief recommendation noodle soup was served with hard noodles (whose idea was it to put hard noodles into a soup dish?), with shitty soup base, and the braised beef ribs had absolutely no flavor. Zero flavor. I've eaten asian food all over the world, and this was probably the worst dish I have ever had. The restaurant also made us wait 40 minutes for a table for 2, which they initially told us 10 minutes. At the time we asked for tables, there were probably 7 tables open, but they wouldn't seat us. Awful, I couldn't finish more than 2 bites of my food. Absolute tragedy of a restaurant charging this price. read more

Casino noodle bars are great to stumble into at 2 AM after partying all night long. Perhaps, then, it our mistake to wander in at 6PM, completely sober. Perhaps in an inebriated state, the salt bomb of instant ramen noodles and dried slabs of cha-sui-like pork swimming in non-descript broth might hit the spot. Under these circumstances, the mismatched lo-mien noodles, and lack of beef tendon might go unnoticed in the vaguely anise-flavored beef noodle soup. If you were drunk enough, you might even forget the dry curry satay chicken skewers. But even without partying, our clothes were stained by the cigarette and cigar smoke from the casino. Yes, this place gives you all the after effects of partying all night without the hangover. It was our mistake for wandering in sober at 6 PM. read more

Stix never disappoints! The hibachi is great, but I sat in a booth with my kids (instead of at the hibachi table). The atmosphere is great for casual dining. We had the sashimi tuna appetizer and the ahi tuna crunch roll, I had pad Thai and the kids got hibachi. Always great food and great service, my drink stayed full. read more

This place is a noodle bar inside the Hyatt Baha Mar and I was staying here this weekend for a wedding. We decided to come here for lunch and it was just what we needed. I ordered the shrimp wonton noodles and the noodles were angel hair noodles so it was light lunch. I would say the meal wasn't very flavorful but it was just very light and simple. Although, I enjoyed it. My bf ordered the dan dan noodle which states "extra hot" , he said it was 3/5 of spice and he had to add the chili paste but he has a high tolerance for spicy foods. So eat the chili at your discretion , because my friend ordered the shrimp based ramen and added the chili paste and her lips were on fire. But spicy lovers, take it on! My server Shantol was a sweetie. They have the option of ordering from the app at your table or having a server. We had the server come up and she was a sweetheart so we enjoyed having her. I would say a downside is the price , but I understand because it is located inside the Baha Mar. My shrimp wonton noodles were $25 before tax. Probably would come again if I was staying longer if you are craving some ramen/noodles! read more

They were fabulous in exception to this one wait staff that did not want to honor the kids eat free policy. I did not like the black pepper beef udon like what everyone was recommending.. i think maybe because I am familiar with asian food already so its honestly not fabulous to me but the miso ramen is tasty. The soup is tasty. My son liked the noodles but i think the noodles are a little stinky(egg dough smell). Oh but the kids under 5 eat free was honored by the manager. read more

Yummmmm! The spring rolls were so good and a good size. I was worried they would be tiny little things. Chicken skewer was amazing. The manager was walking around asking how everyone's meals were and if he could help with anything. Our waiter was so nice. Romandia I believe? Great place! read more

Literally taste like shit, service is pretty slow, the waitress throw a spoon to my plate when i ask for one. ANYONE can cook a better noodle soup with google receipe. Overpriced as well. DEF NOT RECOMMEND. 真TM难吃,服务还慢,我要个汤勺服务员直接扔到我盘子里。等她来点菜等了半小时。一个不会做饭的人,跟着谷歌的菜谱做都比这个做的好吃。科科 read more

Looking for a spot for dinner at the Baha Mar Resort and the Asian/Filipino in me had rice withdrawals so we opted to plop down here and get our grub on. I ordered the pork belly bowl. My date picked together a meal consisting of jasmine rice, the appetizer chicken breast skewer (3 pieces), and bok choy sautéed with oyster sauce. Everything was tasty. A really nice sized portion of pork belly with enough sauce (like a teriyaki style sauce) was just right. Came with a scoop of jasmine rice, soft cooked egg halves and one piece of bok choy. I really enjoyed it and it was filling. I washed it down with a Sapporo. The chicken was good, I tried a few pieces but I'm currently chicken breasted out so didn't pay it any mind but it's good for a bbq stick. Price for those items and wifey had a Tsingtao was $85. That includes VAT (tax) and 15% gratuity. Pretty pricey for simple fair but then again we're in the Bahamas at a 4 Resort LoL. But I'd eat there again in a heartbeat! read more

I've eaten here 2x times since checking in. Food is delicious. Ordered the Singapore Rice noodles & Satay Chicken Skewers ( nice size pieces if chicken) which is a lot of food. Today we ordered Spicy Chicken Wings which had a great rub on them & were the perfect bite size. Also ordered the BBQ pork belly. Our Pork Belly was cooked perfectly & came with a pineapple salsa. Last we ordered the Steak Fried rice ( meat is ground beef) not sliced steak, but still very flavorful. read more

Food is consistently lacking in flavour. I was especially excited about Baha Mar's addition of this restaurant as I frequent Noodles of the World (NOW) at the Borgata, where everything on the menu is flavourful and amazing. Stix has been opened for a while but still has issues with food lacking in flavour and quality. What a disappointment! read more

This place is great! And we are foodies and have high standards of food quality. It's just a quick, no reservations needed place. The service was AMAZING. Our server was so sweet, she really catered to us. Seeing bad reviews on here.. makes me think people don't talk to the people working at restaurants or care to get personable. You'd be surprised at how far being friendly and appreciative gets you. We'll be back before the end of our trip for sure. read more

Loved the food and service. Can't say anything good about the hotel. DISAPPOINTED!!! I come here every year and sometimes twice. I think I'm don'e with this place. It's going to heck in a hand basket. I thing is the same as when it opened. It's not maintained well anymore. That's disappointing in itself but the attitude of the staff is really bad. We were at beach yesterday and we had to put up our own umbrellas which I didn't mind. It was raining. So another couple saw us and did the same. And when the "beach patrol" saw it, he literally grabbed the umbrella out of the ground to which the couple was shocked. They jumped because they didn't know what happened. They were startled. The beach guy didn't explain. He just ripped it out of the ground with disgust and marched back to the umbrella stand. And then he came and took ours. Then today (even though it's been raining for 5 days) I went down to beach and saw that the each towel shack was closed but heard voices inside so I said " hey guys can I have a towel"and they said " we're closed". Didn't even have the decency of o open the window and say it!!!! I'm beyond disgusted and sick of this place. Can't wait to leave this dump!!! Then just now asked for umbrella and they kinda laughed and said we have to wait for supervisor read more

Great place for our first night at Baha Mar. We were all hungry and the portions were very big. Pricey, but very good. Crab and avocado salad was a good thing to share. I stopped by for a late dinner at this convenient spot inside the Baha Mar hotel. Unfortunately, the Chinese food here felt inauthentic, lacking both flavor and spice. It was also quite bland and greasy. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an authentic or satisfying meal. read more
