If you went to Bourbon Street it hasn't really changed, but the menu and pricing is a stretch for the environs. Service: Weird. Came across this place while walking away from our hotel. Sat in their upstairs location, which had comfy chairs and a good size space. Service was PERFECT. Waiter was polite, knowledgeable, and on his game with bringing us drinks. We had the spring rolls and garlic rub tips, which were both cooked to perfection, then we had sushi, which was fresh and delicious. Would definitely go again when we are back in town! read more

Although I don't consider myself a smoker I still enjoy the vibe and ambience of a good cigar lounge. Stixx is no exception to that! Despite its smaller size compared to other lounges theres unique coziness about it that is inviting and captivating. My friend who initially recommended the lounge to my typically likes to check out big games (so far NCAA and NBA) which works out well as he gets the table right by one of the biggest screens. The staff has always been attentive, patient, and kind to not only myself by all the members of my party. The food is mostly asian inspired dishes as well as sushi and other seafood items but my personal favorite are the Stixx wings (which i still wish came with 2-3 more wings per order). They have a good selection of whiskeys which make pairing it with a cigar from their walk in humidor a simple task. The lounge has a nice balcony which will be ideal for when the weather breaks if visitors choose to leave the ventilated interior. This is a good spot to hang with guys (or girls) and have a good drink, great food, and even better service! read more

I only went for cocktails. I had a spicy margarita which was really tasty. my second drink was a cucumeber mule and that was decent, tasted very sugarey and fake though. I would go back, but I would go back and try their sushi. I haven't really heard people talk about it, but I would be willing to give it a try. I probably wouldn't order a cocktail though. read more

I have to admit that, perhaps out of sadness for the loss of the former establishment at this location, I didn't think this place would have staying power. I was dead wrong. I am confident that Stixx will stick around! The service here is fantastic, and I absolutely love the walk-in humidor for customers. The drinks range from the classics to some really tasty and unique options. And the food options are, for the most part, pretty good (but food isn't really my main intention of coming here). I wish they could accommodate more people inside, though, as we've occasionally found it somewhat difficult to accommodate a larger group in the lounge area. I'm hoping the balcony will alleviate this when the weather is nice. Nonetheless, I will keep wanting to come back. Two thumbs up. read more

This restaurant is in the old Bourbon Street restaurant location and it is a nice change. We went on a Sunday after the Colts game and we were told this was the first Sunday they were open (upstairs only) for dinner to try it out. The food was fantastic Asian cuisine. We started off with the edamame which can come salted or spicy. We chose salted and enjoyed the fresh cooked taste immensely. We then each ordered a bowl of the Vietnamese Pho noodle soup, complete with meatballs (plenty!) and side fixings of sprouts, jalapenos and two sauces to provide additional flavor to the broth (which both did!) We then split the Fried Chicken Sliders (two per order) and we were glad we did as these sandwiches were larger than a normal slider with two big pieces of white chicken in each sandwich. Our server was excellent and very friendly. I would definitely go back again when visiting Indianapolis. One potential issue for the upstairs area is the cigar smoke in the bar adjacent to the sitting area where we had dinner. It was fairly smoky when we arrived as it was a cold November night and if you are not accustomed to smoke while eating, this may discourage you from enjoying this great meal upstairs. You may want to go on a night when the downstairs is open for an excellent Asian dinner. read more

It's been a while since I've written a review and it's not due to lack of dining out but wanted to share my experience at Stixx. SO NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE! I ordered the Stixx old fashioned because I'm such a Bourbon fan. It arrives on ice as opposed to a big ice cube I'm used to every time I've ordered one from various restaurants and bars. The server, Kimberly was less than friendly explaining I had to specify wanting a big cube. I told her I wanted the big cube and she returnes with the same drink that was drained into a glass with a big cube, now tasting and looking like ginger beer. She explained she would talk to and get her manager who decided not to come to my table to speak with his paying customers. I've never heard of a server getting a manager who doesn't come out to see about his customers. I was informed I would have to pay for both drinks even though the first one was not made correctly and tasted like ginger beer. The spider roll sushi was very small in size but big in flavor.....not worth $17.00. Atmosphere was okay if you don't mind cigar smoke and I don't but I will not be back thanks to Kimberly, her absent manager, poor customer service, infant sushi roll and ginger tasting old fashioned. read more

This cigar bar is the best in Indy. The vibe is on point, not trying to be super high end & over the top. Nice indoor & especially outdoor area. Prices are so reasonable, can bring your own cigars with very minimal cut fee. And the food is EXCELLENT! They have an awesome menu and again food prices, for what you get, are totally reasonable. The scallopsroll (sushi) is FIRE. The staff is awesome, friendly & super accommodating. I love this place! I was invited to a birthday gathering at Stixx and was really excited about attending because I had never been there before. It was a bit chilly so we were inside but it looked as though there was a good amount of seating on the balcony which would be great on a nice summer day. The place is a little small but very casual but yet could be intimate. As I expected the smell of cigar was heavy but the place was not smokey which I liked. I ordered a Long Island and they asked if I would like to open a tab I felt like they asked for my credit card pretty quick and I don't feel comfortable with that so I just paid for my drink at the bar. The Long Island was pretty good it was just small for the price which was I believe $7.25. My friend ordered sliders and fries which looked really good and tasted pretty good from what I had of hers the sliders were bigger than normal so two sliders was enough. My other friend ordered calamari and she said that it was really good. There were about 15 people at this birthday gathering and the owner mention to one of the guest that we were a little loud, which was a little puzzling to me, the fact that we were there on a Wednesday the place was not busy so to have 15 people there having a good time and spending money should not have been a problem. All in all I gave the place three stars due to not really getting any assistance on the cigars and feeling the pressure to get my credit card to open a tab but I would go back with my husband as a nice casual date night. read more

Went to stixx with another couple Saturday. Service AA++++ food and drinks were delicious! My expectations were low seeing that this is a cigar lounge. I ordered several dishes all very good. Drinks were on point! I am extremely picky and this place wowed me. We sat inside, nice decor. Later in the evening we moved outside. The staff was very attentive and knew their stuff. Went there for lunch and got the grilled noodle bowl. Quality was every bit as good as authentic Vietnamese restaurants on west and north sides of Indy. Prices were higher but understandable given the downtown location. Unfortunately, despite the flavorful sauce, the tender pork, and the cool atmosphere, neither my friend nor i had enough food. We needed more rice noodles and more cucumbers. That's not asking too much especially when my other go-to Vietnamese restaurants give almost double the portion of the same dish for less money. Having said that, three stars because the quality of the food really was spectacular. Doubt we will go back though, who wants to leave a restaurant still a bit hungry? read more
