    Prosecco
    Sarah M.

My friend and I had a late dinner next door at 1933 Lounge and decided to pop over here afterwards when we saw they were open until 1 AM and had Prosecco by the glass. Service was friendly, but there as a delay when ordering a second round. We waited 15+ minutes and it never came to our table, so we went up to order at the bar. We also ordered a gin cocktail that sounded really good (I think it was gin, passion fruit, strawberry). It was just as delicious as it sounded, but I forgot to snap a pic of the menu so I'd remember the name of it. If you don't mind cigar smoke, then this is a really fun spot to come to for late drinks (even on a weekday!) and catch up with friends. They have a lot of larger seating area for bigger groups, bar seating, high top tables, and smaller intimate seating areas for just two people. We ended up sitting in one of the larger group areas because they had left just as we came in. The couch was very comfortable and they have a decorative divider in between it and the other large seating area, so it made it feel more private even though they are out in the middle of the room.

This is by far the best cigar bar I've been to in Indy and I've been to about 5 so far. It has a great vibe with lots of seating inside and out, great music, dimmed lighting, and nice decor. The service was ok, could have been better but overall was not disappointed. I wish this was closer so I could visit more regularly.

Great service and food. This is an upscale cigar lounge that's arguably the best in the city. Some nights they have a DJ and every night is a vibe. Stop by if you're in the area.

Very stocked bar and a long list of mixed drinks & mocktails

This is definitely the nicest cigar lounge in the area. One of the few cigar lounges that offer cigars, alcohol, and food. Today I enjoyed the turkey chops, a drink, and one of the many available cigars that I chose out of the very well stocked humidor. The ambiance was very calm and laid back with light music playing. The service was great and I was served quickly. I was happy that I brought my laptop because it gave me a chance to get a little work done. I ordered fish and chips to go for my wife that she enjoyed. The air filtration system is great. While I was eating I could not smell any smoke. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Always come here. Great cigar selection especially compared to some of the others. The bartenders are great, everyone is attentive and lively. Generally upscale, but the weekends can get pretty busy with a DJ tending to the party. The food is shared from the restaurant next door Prime 47 and everything has been good so far! My favorite is the spicy Mac with steak. Also had the tacos, fried shrimp, and Alfredo. Will be back! 10/10

    Nice bourbon selection

Four stars for ambiance, bourbon collection and service elevates this smoke spot. Unfortunately the humidor is basic. All the regulars but no good variety of the goodies like Espinosa, Partegas, Brick House etc. just the usual suspects My Father (but no Le Bijou) Fuente , Perdomo. They need to elevate for experienced smokers.

The ambiance was great, music, great people, good vibes. The service however at the bar was not the best, could have been a new bartender but not friendly and messed up our pricing.

We visited for birthday. We had reservations for our party but ended up being moved out of our section. An hour later waitress was nice. I believe her name was Rayanne. The manager seem to check on everyone but us. That was weird anyway I don't smoke cigars so I didn't partake in that but my chicken kebabs and rice was good. Also, my Moscow mule was tasty. We ended up leaving prematurely hopefully if I go back, I have a more welcoming experience.

The ambiance was great and added to the experience. I had the Executive lunch (3 shrimp cocktail, 2 sliders and a side salad) which was great! Our server was great, on top of everything and quite friendly. She was VERY knowledgeable of the menu and specials. We really appreciated her approach & follow-up. I will say this is not an everyday place as it is quite expensive, but it was nice for an extended lunch and meeting with friend.

We were graciously greeted by two pleasant hosts and shown to our table after a short wait. As soon as we were seated, I was given a birthday card and well wishes. Shortly after, our waiter, Eric, came by to introduce himself. He wished me a happy birthday, told me to save room for dessert because it was on him and then proceeded to tell us about the history of the restaurant, the food they specialize in, the night specials, and his recommendations before taking our drink order. Eric really made the night special for me with his professionalism and obvious pride in the restaurant. He is truly top notch and we will ask to be seated in his section when we return and I highly recommend him if you desire great service. Now the food... Eric recommended the Oyster Rockefeller and Calamari for starters. They were both delicious! For entrees, I had the prime strip steak, fries, and Caesar salad. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium and seasoned just right. The sides were good as well. My husband had the ribeye, mashed potatoes, navy bean soup, and wedge salad. His steak was cooked to perfection and he absolutely loved his chosen sides. My daughter had the king crab sushi roll, which she rated a 7/10. Now, on to dessert. Eric told us his favorite is the key lime pie. I love a good key lime pie so I ordered it. In fact, I always order key lime pie if it's on the menu where ever we dine. Of all the pies I've had in recent years, it was the truly the best with perfectly balanced key lime with a brûlée-d top. My daughter had the coconut cream pie and my husband had the bread pudding. We all agreed the desserts were scrumptious. We had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has a great vibe, service was brisk without a single thing being overlooked. I really had a great birthday dinner! Thank you!

I've heard that once a man reaches a certain age, he must choose to get really interested in either…read moreWorld War 2 history or smoked meats. (For the record, I like to smoke meat. Yes, I know: That's what she said!) I would like to add a third option: puffing on high quality tobacco. This is clearly an activity for men, like myself, of a certain age. You have two main options in the world of high quality tobaccos: pipes or cigars. You could choose both, but most rarely do. Each requires a different vibe, as well as skill set (yes, I said skill). Wanting to follow in the steps of my amazingly wonderful, late Grandaddy, I first attempted a pipe. I enjoyed it. I still own my pipes. But the skill (yes, skill!) required to smoke a pipe is a steep learning curve: types of tobacco, how to pack the pipe, the correct airflow, how to "sip" the smoke, proper breathing, keeping the correct temperature to prevent tongue bite (read: literally burning your tongue from smoke) and on and on. It's fun, but I ain't got time for that! I like to sit and chill and relax, usually in my hot tub, and pipes require a lot of babysitting. So, after some time, I chose to course correct towards cigars. Fortunately, my first real interaction with higher quality cigars was at Maduro on Main in downtown Fortville. This is a beautiful shop dripping with charisma and charm. First off, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked through the door that you aren't hit in the face with the smell of tobacco. A popular pipe shop I visited had old men right inside the front door lighting up. You smelled like smoke when you left that shop. It was off putting. But Maduro is clean as a whistle, well-lit, and smells pleasant. They do offer a smoking room, but it is in the back behind closed doors and some magical force field that keeps everything at bay. The walk-in, humidity-controlled room smells lovely of fresh tobacco. Cigars range in size, price and rarity. Maduro offers many great options to please any experience level, from the novice to the expert. The owner knows his stuff and is a wealth of knowledge. He is clearly smoking what he's selling! He has given me great advice on multiple occasions. I also love that he hand picks cigars for his own variety packs. These packs are great because they feature 4-5 cigars that vary in tobacco type, binder and wrapping so you can find the cigar you enjoy. The shop also sells some well-curated clothing, such as smoking jackets and hats. These smoking jackets, by the way, are straight fire! I love seeing the vintage paraphernalia around the store. And I believe veterans get a discount. Overall, this is exactly what you are looking for in a specialty shop like this. I look forward to returning soon and picking up a few stogies for the hot tub. Smoke 'em if you got 'em!
