Apparently they don't care that that is illegal. The meat is all pre-cooked so they wrap it in plastic wrap and keep it in a warmer, so it was barely warm and there were bits of plastic in it. They were out of okra and had to make more. When they brought it out, it was in a paper bag. I dumped it onto the tray and it was waffle fries! I had to go back to the counter and get them to correct it. The girl in the back prep area was busy scrolling on her phone so the counter girl had to do everything. The chicken was so dry and hard that I could not stab it with the plastic fork. The brisket was chopped into tiny bits and was dry. It reminded me of kibble. The ribs were overcooked and dry as a bone. The sad little roll was ok, but there was no butter to be found. The mac and cheese was decent. Pretty good flavor and consistency. The okra was mediokra. Definitely frozen, and not homemade. The free ice cream wa so soft it ran off the cone so I filled my water cup with it and ate it with a spoon. That turned out to be the best part of the whole meal. I had been wanting to try this place for over a year. Overall, it was a huge, expensive disappointment.

I had a crab bowtie pasta that was made with real crab rather than the fake stuff you would normally find in this part of the country. All in all an excellent meal and a great value. There were a few other couples we were with who eat here religiously and they said everything else on the menu is just as tasty and excellent.
