The beans aren't from a can, I am willing to bet that the food here is all homemade. It tastes far too good to be from a can or a package. The tortillas are not warm, they are HOT when they get to your table, they taste so good. In my opinion they are the very best in town. Their masa is freshly made and perfectly seasoned, the meat filling is a combination of good quality meats cooked perfectly in an authentic Jalisco style homemade sauce, and then this bundle of deliciousness is wrapped perfectly like a present in the corn husk. I purchased 4 dozen tamales to eat in my hotel room, and to share with friends in Lexington.
