When I asked to speak with a Manager when she got caught in a lie, she placed me on hold for well over 10 minutes. I then tried calling back and noone answered the phone. Instead I got a text that someone would call me back. Noone did. The sad part is these young people represent the doctor and then they wonder why they are losing business. The treatment given didn't even work for my daughter but I was still trying g to do the right thing and pay the difference for the service. I guess they don't need the money.

After Dr. Keane's retirement I saw a couple of other providers at Skin, MD (who have since left) because of a terrible break-out on the palms of my hands and fingers. They prescribed a variety of corticosteroids and moisturizers with no success. I have excellent health insurance and have never had a health practitioner demand a credit card to be seen. Terrible policy, rude desk staff and no exceptions to this rule. I went to Derrick Dermatology first and was not happy. Then back to Duly in Tinley and was not happy. So on the Pinnacle which was recommended by a few friends. This place is OK. But my favorite aspect of this medical clinic is its Urgent Care After Hours facility. I have availed myself of its services on numerous occasions but the most memorable was New Years Eve. My husband and I had reservations downtown and I was whiling away the hours by cutting fabric for a new quilt, using my rotary cutter when I suddenly cut off about 1/3 of the tip of my left index finger. Holy Quentin Tarrantino, that sucker would not stop bleeding so my husband drove me here. When I checked in, the nurse, to her credit, did not even crack a smile when she asked the cause of my accident and I replied, "Quilting." I did, however, denote a bit of fun in her voice when she called out, "We've got a quilting victim here." Everyone there had nothing else to do but rush to see it and I got the care of my life. They stitched me up pronto and sent me on my way tactfully suppressing their mirth. We all agreed that the truly memorable New Years Eves in medical facilities all begin with Quilting accidents. And we made our reservations! Now that's a 5 star Medical group.

However, her office staff specifically her office manager Colleen was not helpful or compassionate when dealing with my situation. I have been bringing my daughter to Dr. Bhatt for over a decade. I just made this appointment last week to bring her in due to an urgent situation. No one mentioned this policy. I am the type of person who does not carry all of my info around due to identity theft. I bring what I need and I had plenty of cash to take care of what I needed to take care of. However, since I did not have a card handy to give them, which they never asked for when the appointment was made, my daughter was denied service. They were not even trying to work with me by saying will help you out this time, especially since the policy doesn't begin until February 1. They didn't suggest call us back with the info and we will still see her this time. None of that, they said the best that they could do was reschedule the appointment. the office manager also proceeded to push her values off on me and say she doesn't know anybody who doesn't go around with the card. Very horrible customer service. She also proceeded to state that they are not required to inform customers of this via the phone of this new policy when the appointment is made. Shout though to their competitors who do detail everything you need at your appointment. Again please beware.

I came in for consultation on a procedure and was charged for 2 different things. I wasn't in the room for more than 15 minutes of discussion. When the PA came to straighten it out and clearly explain to the secretary what went on, and how to charge, the secretary completely disregarded it and insisted on doing it her way. When I saw the 2 charges, I called them about it, and the secretary responded and refused to correct it. Be really careful because although the professionals are fine here, the secretary is the boss and will dictate everything based on her own unreasonable understanding. Needless to say, I will not be back.
