In the past I have used pawn shops to get a short term loan by using gold as collateral. I brought a few pieces of jewelry to Tracy Pawn and they were extremely professional, transparent, and empathetic towards my situation. I admitted to them that I felt somewhat embarrassed that I had to do this but they reassured me there is no judgment on their part nor should I feel ashamed about doing whatever I needed to do make ends meet. The loan process was explained to me in simple terms and I love that you get 120 days instead of 90 days to pay the loan back and get your items which is what exactly what I did. A few months later I went back to Tracy Pawn to get a loan again and when I went to pick it up I told them that I needed to take another loan out so I could pay off the current one since I didn't quite have enough until payday. The staff told me not to do that because I would be paying way too much in interest and instead I should just pay the extension fee which gave me another 120 days to pick up my item. I was surprised that they genuinely wanted to save me money rather than take more from me. They told me they didn't feel right about making me pay a lot more than I should when there was a better option available to me especially since the goal was to pay my bills not create new ones! I also ended up selling some gold jewelry which I no longer had any use for and they paid me top dollar for my gold. I couldn't thank them enough for helping alleviate a lot of stress and anxiety on how I was going to get the bills paid that month. I highly recommend Tracy Pawn if you are in need of a short term loan or want to sell items of value to a business that is honest and fair.
