Very Dishonest! Stopped in to get some rock for my landscape…read moreproject and the woman who helped me was nice but she tried to pull a fast one. The materials came to 340 bucks so I paid cash for the materials and gave her my credit card for the 110 dollar an hour delivery. Big mistake!! I get a text from the driver who said leaving now be there in 1.5 hours. I live a half hour from the yard so I call the woman who helped me at the counter when I ordered it and she said that the freeway is crawling because of an accident. As she is talking I open Google Maps and it says 31 minutes and the road is clear. I confronted her and that's when she got very defensive because I was about to foil her plan to keep the cash and rack up my credit card with trips back and forth from Sparks to Fernley. Do not use this company they are a bunch of scam artists and crooks! I got the rock in Fernley for half the price for the materials and delivery. Thanks Gopher Construction for your honesty!!

The grout has also began to crack in more places and is completely coming out on the bathroom floor and the kitchen floor. We recently completed our second project with Bridges Construction remodeling our master bathroom…read moreand bedroom. See my previous review from last year for additional details regarding the quote process and quality of work on the upgrades to our laundry room. We found that Bridges Construction greatly simplifies the entire process by providing a detailed quote, providing vendor recommendations for fixtures and finishes, as well as, the experienced craftsmen to bring the changes to fruition. The project timeline was estimated accurately, and during the remodel, there was regular communication regarding the arrival of various installers such as the painter, plumber, electrician, and tile work. As additional work was requested, this was handled with ease by the Bridges team. An example of this was the addition of LED lights used in the remodel to our existing kitchen. A final comment regarding the quote. The Bridges team provides a multi-page, detailed quote which allowed us to track cost differences as we made our selections of fixtures, vanity surfaces, shower tiles and flooring. I'm confident that you'll find a similar experience and look forward to our next project with Bridges Construction.

My wife and I did a considerable amount of research prior to meeting with Bridges Construction to…read morediscuss our bathroom remodel. We met with Steve Bridges and discussed our ideas with him and met with him at our residence on two occasions prior to contracting with him to discuss our options and to see how we could fit a Jacuzzi tub and a double shower in the space that we had. We were able to collaborate with him to come up with our plan. One of the first things that happened after contracting with Bridges Construction is that we were allowed to meet personally with his suppliers, which were primarily flooring, tile, countertops, and pick out exactly what we were looking for and to use the experience of those subcontractors along with Steve's experience to come up with excellent material choices. Some of the items that we chose were way beyond what Steve expected, but he worked with us to make sure that they were all able to work in our remodeled bathroom and would be installed professionally. During the bathroom remodel, there was constant communication as to who was coming and what they were planning to do. A lot of this came from Kyle and Brandon who work for Bridges Construction. We were provided with cell phone numbers for Kyle and Brandon, as well as all of the subcontractors so that we could communicate with them, ask any questions, and confirm scheduling if necessary. The thing that we liked the most in working with Bridges Construction and their subcontractors were the willingness of the subcontractors to provide their opinions as to what would work best, and how the layouts were to be made. This was most important in working with the tile subcontractor, as we changed the layout of how we were going to do the tile, and it took twice as long as was initially thought. The tile subcontractor did not hesitate whatsoever, taking extra time and effort to do the tile exactly the way we wanted. In conclusion, the bathroom turned out beyond our expectations, and was completed without any issues or complications. We cannot ask for anything more, and are ecstatic at how the bathroom turned out. You should not hesitate in discussing your bathroom remodel plans with Bridges Construction, as they will not lead you astray.

We hired this company to redo a computer room carpet with wood laminate flooring and repaint. The…read more2 workers showed up fairly promptly and got to work immediately. The old carpet came up, floor prepared and vinyl planks started. That part of the job went fast, but black 'dust' from cutting the boards to fit flew everywhere. Nothing was put up in the room doorway.....there was a closet full of clothes in the closet which all got this fine black dust on them. Had they said something to me, I would've covered them with an old sheet. Aside from that and the worker having a bit of trouble rehanging the closet sliding doors which my husband helped him accomplish, all turned out very nice. Todd, the contractor, never dropped by to check on his men through the 2 days they were there. Next came installation of a new pre-hung front door which I had ordered and purchased. Three men arrived, 2 were the same 2 that redid the room last week. They got to work, removing our storm door first, then the existing front door and frame. They worked for a few hours without us hovering over their every move. Pretty soon l see one guy has started rolling the paint (I bought) onto the outside of the new door. The color wasn't looking right so Luis (job foreman, I guess) called me. The texture of the rolled on paint was the first thing i noticed. Not smooth like one wants for a front door. The color just needed a couple coats to be right, however the rolled on paint was just looking horrible. By late afternoon, the whole job, including erroneously placed kick plate holes, arched threshold so door didn't close properly, and the new paint which was so thick I could peel it off in big pieces, was a completely botched mess. Our storm door was ruined as they cut off a length on the bottom trying to get it to shut properly which wasn't happening because of the bowled threshold. Again, Todd hadn't stopped by at all that day. So I took pictures and texted Todd asking him to please come over and see what they'd done. He was there very soon with another worker whom he said to me "he can fix anything!" This poor guy looked, measured, shook his head, looked some more, then he and Todd decided the whole new door needed to be replaced. So after Todd reordered the new door, spray painted it in their workshop, and then brought it over, this new guy got it properly installed. This second door and all work done was covered by Todd. We had no hassle over that at all and he took care of it, knowing his crew was at fault. The only thing we'll have to do is purchase a new storm door. We appreciated that he stands by his work very much. In closing, I think if Todd had dropped by earlier in the day, that maybe the original door could've been salvaged...maybe. Would I hire him again? Questionable. He's a great guy whom we like very much, but his workers aren't the best. I know it's hard to get good help since COVID, but I would be hesitant at this time.
