My NX350 with 7500 miles had a recall so my wife brought it in. Stoler recommended an oil change so she agreed and was charged $160! How crazy is that? And when we originally bought the car at Stoler, they promised first 2 service visits would be free. I've called her service adviser Randall and the service manager Eric Howard multiple times to discuss this and no call backs. Cant believe this so I am forced to complain publicly. read more

Very bad customer service by their salesperson named Mr. Haroon. We went for 2023 NX 350 and liked the car. When we started negotiating the salesperson was trying to attack personally and got offended. A salesperson's tone should be more professional and friendlier than him. So, we left the showroom and was driving towards home. After few minutes he called us again and asked if we could higher the price? We increased the price and he asked us to go back to the showroom. I had a very disappointing experience with Stoler Lexus service today. I dropped off my Lexus RX450h at 8:00 a.m. for routine maintenance and waited in the service lounge while the vehicle was inspected and serviced. After approximately two hours, I was told the vehicle only needed an oil change. As I drove off the lot, I immediately noticed that my right turn signal was blinking rapidly, indicating a failed bulb. This issue did not exist when I brought the vehicle in. I returned to the dealership immediately and explained the situation. The service department acknowledged that their inspection included checking the lights and stated that the bulbs were functioning properly when they first received the vehicle. They then kept my car for another hour while I waited again in the lounge. After diagnosis, they confirmed the bulb had failed and replaced it. However, they attempted to charge me for both parts and labor. I explained to the Repair Manager, Chris, that the vehicle was delivered to them with all lights functioning properly, their own inspection confirmed that fact, and the vehicle was returned to me in worse condition than when it was received. Regardless of whether the bulb failure was coincidental, the issue occurred while the vehicle was in their custody and care. After repeated discussion, they agreed to waive the labor charge only if I paid for the bulb itself. What made the experience worse was the interaction afterward. While I was waiting to pay, the service manager repeatedly insisted that his employees did not cause the bulb failure and that I could not prove otherwise. I explained that proving fault was not the point. Good customer service would have recognized that the problem arose during their possession of the vehicle and handled the inexpensive bulb replacement as a courtesy. Instead, I spent roughly three hours at the dealership over an oil change and left feeling that my time and long-term loyalty meant very little. I have serviced this vehicle at Stoler Lexus since purchasing it and have brought it there for nearly 60,000 miles of maintenance. Unfortunately, this experience completely undermined the trust and goodwill that had been built over the years. read more

I brought my 2025 Lexus TX 350 to Stoler Lexus for a warranty replacement of a cracked panoramic sunroof weatherstrip (Part #63251-0E100), which was previously replaced here less than a year ago. While they eventually agreed to do the replacement under the factory warranty, the workmanship is absolutely terrible. The new rubber seal was installed so poorly that there are massive, unacceptable gaps between the rubber and the sunroof frame. It looks completely sloppy and unprofessional. When I brought this up, the service staff completely brushed me off, claimed "it doesn't matter," and flat-out refused to reinstall it properly. This giant gap is a major issue--it will cause heavy wind noise on the highway and risks leaking water into the car during heavy rain or car washes. The poor installation quality and their dismissive refusal to correct their own bad work are completely unacceptable for a luxury brand. I will be escalating this poor workmanship directly to Lexus Corporate. Avoid this service department if you actually want your car fixed right. read more

Professional, courteous, well-organized and a pleasant waiting area. Every individual I spoke with was helpful. I understand now why the reviews are so poor for this dealership. Sadly, we purchased a new RX350 in September `25 and were totally unsatisfied with the car and the whole experience. The salesman pulled a total bait and switch and miss represented the entire deal! The car is also plagued with electronic glitches, features that we were told the car would have are non-existent. I am extremely satisfied with my experience at Stoler Lexus. As a recent Volvo of Huntington customer, I felt confined by the limitations of the brand like my inability to get into a new car with another dealership before the end of my lease, among other things like poor customer service. He walked me through the entire process and stayed with me up to the moment that I drove off in my gorgeous 2024 cloudburst gray RX 500 hybrid. Next, Angela Lavrenchik, the business manager at this location made leasing this vehicle and getting approved for a business auto loan seamless. The price and the terms were exactly as described, and she was extremely thorough in her process. In addition to all the financial paperwork, she ensured that my new vehicle was registered and plates were issued. She made what can potentially be a daunting process effortless for us. Tommy Sweeney, their Sales Manager, worked with my salesman to ensure we got the absolute best deal possible for this vehicle, as well as ensured that Angela specifically was assigned to my case to make the process a successful and memorable one. She was kind, efficient and was very professional. Everyone at this dealership from the greeters to Vicenzo Ladevaia (the Lexus technology specialist) who actually sat with me in my car to set everything up, and walk me through the technology (which was a first for me) and I've worked with two other brands -- was phenomenal. I would strongly advise against doing business with this dealership, as I found their practices to be deceptive and untrustworthy. During the process of trading in my vehicle, Manager Ray Berrios assured my husband and me that there would be no issues with the remaining payments. We asked Ray to clarify, and he reiterated that Lexus would take care of everything, with no mention of any negative equity. Based on this information, it seemed like a good deal. When I returned to sign the paperwork on a different day by myself, the numbers did not add up. At that point, Ray informed me there was an additional $3,000 charge due to negative equity. I raised the flag that wasn't mentioned at all with my husband. The dealership had already transferred my license plate and completed other formalities before I even signed the contract. The negative equity was discovered towards the end of the signing process which made me feel pressured and trapped into agreeing. After reviewing the paperwork at home, my husband discovered I had actually been charged more than $3,000 than stated. This series of unprofessional actions has led me to believe that their sales tactics are misleading and designed to take advantage of a female client that I might not scrutinize the details. Please be cautious and consider bringing someone with you when signing paperwork. Avoid going alone. I hope sharing my experience will prevent others from falling into a similar situation. This is for brand new 2022 RX350. The first week of ownership I had to take the car in for a very harsh vibration at low RPM. They found out there was a loose welding on the exhaust..which was weird for a brand new Lexus. QC issues?? The vibration was reduced 50% but never fixed. I took the car again at least 3 more times for oil change and other routine maintenance work, and every time I mentioned about the vibration, I even asked them if they can let me drive another Lexus , same model and year to check and they never let me.!! They had some tech come out on a drive with me and said everything was normal. This was a bad vibration that entered the cabin and felt on the steering wheel, and it was very annoying. for 3 years I drove the car with that annoyance. very unpleasant experience for a $60K plus car. Fast forward to June, 2025. I was determined to find a solution and took the car to Lexus of Smithtown. Michelle was my service advisor . She looked at my records and history and assured me to look into it. Later that day she called and told me there was a recall on the exhaust pipe for that model year, and it came a few years ago!! She said she will have to order a newly designed exhaust system and it will take some time. Fast forward, a month later the part arrived, it was put in and now I see the difference.!!!! for 3 years I had to drive around, not being able to enjoy my music in the ML system that I paid close to 4K extra for, because of the vibration and cabin noise, and Stoler never tried to fix the issue. They were oblivious of the recall or they simply chose to let it be. Whatever be the reason, I will never take my car back to that dealership for service. They are incompetent and refuse to do the right thing. read more

It was in the thick of the pandemic that we had purchased a new car from the previously owned Lexus dealership. One could imagine how difficult it was for us as the buyer and the seller that had limited inventory. Meanwhile, we had already done our research and were comfortable with our choices. Consumer Report also had substantial positive reviews on the Lexus model that we were focusing in on. We configured the car online; I submitted the completed car with options to the dealership and soon after we received a call from a Lexus salesperson. The salesperson noted to us that the internet did not properly configure the car. What we learned later was that the dealer had limited inventory and they were anxious to sell what they had in stock since ordering an new automobile would be difficult. Secondly, when the car was delivered, there was little to no help understanding the functionality of the vehicle. We visited the dealership for service a few months later, and the service coordinator was also unable to help us comprehend the features of the car. Now we move forward to the new Lexus dealer ownership, Stoler Lexus. Their personnel were wonderful and incredibly helpful on educating us on the car. We found that we had features that we did not take advantage of because of the poor representation of the previous Lexus dealer ownership. I bought Lexus NX 350 on February, but they give me one key, and told me the second key will come in 2 or 3 week later. On beginning of March I called again, they said it will come in another 2 more weeks. However it is 6 weeks past now, I still haven't get the key, I called today they said it will come on end of May. They always lie and not reliable. I have BMW before, their service is much been than Lexus. I don't believe that their service is so poor, and still claim they have excellent service compared to other cars. If you want to buy Lexus, then you should have patience to wait for the second key. Let me first start off by saying when I purchased the vehicle in August the sales department did a great job. However, 5 months later the upper wheel fender flew off the car while I was driving and I made the worst mistake of taking it back to the dealership for service. Mr. Howard who I was told is the manager over the service department is the rudest person that I ever met at LEXUS! He outright stated that someone stole the bolts off the fender and if I wanted it fix I should look for the fender on the highway and bring it back to them. As unsafe as this request was I went back and found it on the Long Island Expressway. I then brought it back to the service department and via the phone he tried to out talk me and still insisted that someone stole the bolts. Yet one of the bolts was still attached to the fender. Even if one even tried to entertain this ridiculous notion why would they leave a remaining one? Why would someone steal bolts and not the expensive tires or the actual fender? Clearly, this was a manufacturing mishap that could have injured myself or the cars behind me. Even more disturbing instead of apologizing for the mishap and the inconvenience of going back and forth to the dealership Mr. Howard continued trying to out talk me and argue with me. He had the audacity to say he's been in the business for 26 years. With an attitude and disposition like his he should NOT be working at a luxury dealership or with the public. His suggestion was for me to go through my insurance (as if it was my fault) or pay out of pocket. This is a brand new vehicle that clearly is a factory defect. This is definitely my LAST time patronizing Stoler. As I stated to Mr. Howard this is NOT the way customers should be treated. read more

They are perhaps the most dishonest dealership one could find. They are totally lacking in integrity. I decided to purchase a pre owned Lexus. I checked out the inventory of all of the local dealerships. As I was reviewing the inventory I would take a screenshot of all the vehicles I was interested in. I finally settled on a car from Stoler Lexus. ( see the first screen shot) i called to make an appointment for a test drive. The salesman Mike Danys was very aggressive and I felt quite uncomfortable. I did however like the car and decided to buy it. Mike wrote up the paperwork. When I got home I realized he wrote up the contract with the car costing $1,007 more than it was advertised for. In the screenshot the price is listed at $31,988. On the contract Mike wrote $32,995. He was leaving for vacation but said I could call with any concerns. So I called. I thought he simply made a mistake while transcribing the numbers. He insisted the price he wrote was right. I toon a second screenshot the day I took the test drive. ( see screen shot #2). So during the phone call I went to Stoler Lexus website. The price was listed at $31,988. The next morning the price changed as a result of my phone call. (see the third and forth screen shots.) Monday came when I was supposed to pick up the car. I went with the certified check along with my tablet with the screen shots. I met with the manager of the pre owned department, a man named Ray Berrios. He said the difference in price was because of the cookies on my tablet. That is both laughable as well as insulting. I got up to leave and Ray said he would give me $800 not on my trade in. With the tax benefit that offer approximated the $1,0007 differences.He purchase of the car was anything but happy and positive. After I had the car home I had reason to contact the dealership. I called four times including an email to the general manager. No one returned my call. I did contact Lexus about my experience and while they were apologetic it doesn't seem like they will address all my concerns. If you are thinking about a Lexus run as fast and as far away from Stoler as you can. If you do get a Lexus do not expect support from Lexus if you have difficulties. I purchased a Lexus because of recommendations from friends. I guarantee my experience will cause at least one person to walk away from Lexus. My recommendation. read more

I brought my car to Stoler Lexus for a service Unfortunately, the car was returned to me in a terrible condition. Not only they scratched up my rims, they also damaged the car. I do not know what they have done to my car exactly but since then my car has been dealing with some sort of vibrating issue. The wheel won't stop shaking/vibrating when it is in motion. I immediately informed them about the situation, they asked me to bring the car back to them. I was told that my rims were bent and needed to be repaired. I told them that they could go ahead and get them repaired. I spent over $970 for all of that. The car is now doing the same vibrating/shaking from the wheel. It is very frustrating! If I knew that I was going to have to pay much for such mediocre service, I would have brought my car somewhere else. I thought that I was going to get excellent service because it's Lexus but I was wrong and now I am paying the price. Be careful with them. They don't care about customers' cars. read more
