We absolutely LOVE Stone Bridge Learning Academy. We started in the Infant & Twos Center for both my kids and have loved it ever since. It is difficult for me to put into words how strongly I feel about Stone Bridge Learning Academy and how much I appreciate the fact that this type of schooling is available to me and my family. To make it as simple as possible, I will give you my top five most favorite things about Stone Bridge. 1. Staff is amazing! From the director to the cook Jhane. Each and every single employee at Stone Bridge is nice, concerned for the school and the children there. They all take pride in the students and their education. Signing up for a tour is easy. The director will guide you through the classroom answer all your questions and tell you about the program there at Stone Bridge Academy. Anytime I have a question, I can easily call or email and get a reply quickly. 2. The curriculum at Stone Bridge Learning Academy is engaging and so fun for the kids. My son is always coming home and talking about the fun stuff they learned about in Ms. Pam Room. They have art, music and Spanish in their standard lesson plans. And this is for ALL ages (yes, even as young as the 6 week old's who are in the infant center). In addition to the standard curriculum, Stone Bridge also has enrichment activities that you can sign the children up for. They do dance, Karate, Soccer, gymnastics, and many more. 3. The Stone Bridge community is also a tight one. Life long friendships among students and the parents are made. There is Trunk or Treat, Thanksgiving Feast, carnivals, festivals, Donuts with dad, and many other activities that are held outside of school that foster bonding among the students and parents. 4. Students and Staff are also supported by a great team of women. 5. I think one of my favorite things about Stone Bridge Learning Academy is also the structure they implement the Education philosophy. I have found many schools are much more relaxed in the philosophy and some are too strict for young children. I love that Stone Bridge has found a great balance between free play and work time and also allowing the students to thrive and lead their own education on subjects that interest them but at the same time are able to keep up with other subject areas. This has a lot to do also with the teachers and their lesson planning, but also says a lot about the support system the owner and the administration provides for the classes. In writing this review, I must address the negative comments I have read for Stone Bridge Learning Academy. It saddens me to see people not get what I have out of their experience. And while I know that no school is perfect for everyone, I can't stress the fact that there are no surprises with Stone Bridge and their enrollment process, fees, or programs. All policies and procedures are given in your enrollment paperwork and contracts are signed so that you as parents know exactly what is expected of you but also what is expected from the school. I'M TRULY DISGUSTED WITH THE OWNERS OF STONE BRIDGE LEARNING ACADEMY!!! If you are looking for a childcare with integrity and compassion, best to move on. I had my 20 month old son in there for about 5 months and totally regret it! During the time my son was there, my wife and I were expecting our second son with due date April 12th. I had informed Krista the director on Friday, March 15th that my son's last day is Friday, March 29th at daycare. This is the two weeks notice. I specified we want my son to be with his mom as she start maternity leave. Well, 3 days later on Monday March 18th, my second son arrived almost 4 weeks early. March 18th was also the last day of daycare for my older son bc we want him at home to be with the family and especially with younger brother here! Here's where it got disgusting....Krista emails me that I'm still responsible for the last week of March 25-29. I told her I felt I shouldn't have to pay because I did give the two weeks notice but my second arrived earlier than expected. Life happens and babies come early right? Well, it doesn't matter to them because they wanted every dollar they can get to. They refused to waive and make me pay for that week even though we didn't use their service. Don't be mistaken by Krista. She's the director and comes off nice in person. She tells me she can't do anything about it and it's management decision and I better pay or we will incur late fees. Well, what the heck does a director title means if you're not part of management? HERE'S WHY.....I've asked her to have management call me. Management did. It was some weird number and a guy from India named Shavon (probably not correct spelling) introduced him as the owner. Long story short he is Kristy's husband. I could barely understand him with the heavy accent and was pretty darn rude. He kept on telling me he can't waive or reduce the payment because it's not good business for them and that we have to give two weeks notice. He could care less that our son arrived early as he just wanted the money. I told him he needs to be more compassionate about his business in childcare and that he can't always be about the money. He threatened to send me to collections and then hanged up! That's so business like! So do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The 5 star reviews on here are from people they know and work there! Scandalous!! We know a lot of families with small children and I already informed them! They are not compassionate and just after the money! Stupid thing is now we have two kids needing childcare and I would rather spend my money elsewhere!!! read more

Our family has been at Stone Bridge on Rainbow for a little over 2 years now and they are miles beyond better than other facilities we've tried or toured in the area. We love it here and would highly recommend them for infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers. The facility is very clean and full of warmth. Lunches and snacks are included in the tuition, or you can send food from home if you choose. Parents are required to provide diapers, wipes, change of clothes, water cup and/or bottles, and a fitted sheet or blanket for nap times. They take safety seriously and ask that students wear close-toed shoes and log any small incidents in Procare, and call us if anything happens that requires more than just TLC, which is very rare in our experience. My 4yo daughter absolutely loves her pre-school class and her teacher, Ms. Evitta, who she's been with this school year and last. Evitta is very caring and communicative with us about our daughter and she is always planning fun activites for the students. They also played a huge part in getting our daughter potty trained. We have seen our daughter make huge advancements in learning while she's been here. My son who is now 1yo has been attending since he was 2mos old and we've had a great experience with Ms. Cecilia in the infant room, and now Ms. Jerriona in the 8mo+ room. They are great about logging all of the meals/bottles, frequent diaper changes/checks, naps, activities, etc. They also teach baby sign-language which he has been using to tell us when he's hungry or wants more at home. They upload multiple pictures a day of the kids and they're my favorite notifications to receive while I'm at work. The front desk staff is always friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. All of our main teachers have an assistant with them almost at all times, unless it's only a couple kids in the room. The assistant teachers seem to float to whichever rooms have a need. We love Ms. Gabby and Ms. LaQuida! They did recently increase the tuition slightly, but I believe they put it off for as long as they could because we were notified last year it was going to happen and then it didn't until the beginning of this year. I believe they also have programs for reduced tuition through Urban League. I think we probably pay a little more here, but I fully believe that it's worth it to get an experience similar to a private school with teachers who are well-trained and caring. We've had our daughter in less-expensive daycares before and had horrendous experience, so you get what you pay for. read more

Greetings! I write this review with great honor, enthusiasm, and from a deep sense of appreciation! I fell in love with this place because of its diversity within ages and the culture of both staff and classrooms! It is a great mix and it reminded me of home! I'm originally from New York. A monkey wrench was thrown into the functions of my family in February and I've been trying to pick up the pieces since then. Alexis and Karina have been the guardians any parent can ask for! Alexis is leading a staff that has watched over and enriched the life of my young one! Communication is everything with this place! And the ladies absolutely honor any requests and concerns I have ever had regarding my son. Yes, including using th nasal aspirator! Now, I'd like to further reflect on the necessity with communication. If you are open with the staff, especially Karina and Alexis, you will find that their generosity, patience, diligence and stamina is profoundly deep! Even when you think that maybe "this is it, I'm on my own!", the ladies prove to have your best interests at heart! Alexis leads with this sincere gesture that is available to support the parent! Just when I think maybe I have broken the bridge of trust with these ladies, Karina gently reminds me how unshakable and how deep the kindness flows at Stonebridge Academy. I have no family in Las Vegas. But, I've been able to build many profound relationships. And, it's with these relationships,especially at Stonebridge Academy, that my son has remained safe, happy, CLEAN, and protected. Hello everyone! I'm not one to write reviews but I have to do this one.. I was currently looking for a preschool for my son, so I decided to look at stone bridge I was kind of skeptical after reading the horrible reviews and on google and at the fact that they are fairly new! as soon I walked in I was greeted by Krista and her assistant Karen I think her name is, I got there and I was disappointed the facility was small and dirty and they didn't have enough outdoor space.They also had no grass where he can play or ride the bikes also the toys outside seem old I witnessed on her phone while she was outside and was yelling at them, all the child's faces were dirty and Made think she was not gonna be watching my child. I did not like that fact that they were not gonna he teaching my baby anything besides letting him play all day long, I did not witness any child doing anything to do with learning all the had them do was play with blocks and kitchen toys. I saw how Krista was trying to seem professional but, unfortunately was not at all during our tour. I was highly disappointed so I realized this school wasn't for my son because I felt as tho he wouldn't be safe here. There are great facilities willing to invest in your child in teaching them and also wanted to play with them I didn't get that here I felt as it was just business and my child was not gonna be happy. All the staff here seemed un organized and didn't even greet me or my child & I felt as tho he would be ignore the whole time. The director needs to learn to manage her employees better & q clean place where it's safe for a child! I definitely would not recommend this facility to anyone!! As a first time parent, daycare was an overwhelming to say the least as the time got closer for me to return to work. I was so nervous as most parents are with who would be watching my child during the day. I had a HUGE...I mean... massively long list of questions that I took on my interviews of daycare facilities in the Valley. Stone Bridge was the only daycare who sat down and listened to each one of my questions thoroughly, Karina (Assistant Director) answered wonderfully and did not appear bored or bothered. The facility when walking in is clean, smells great and the atmosphere is friendly. Stone Bridge cloth diapers as well so that was a big thing for me because it was one of my requirements. We decided to put our son in Stone Bridge and he has been going for about 8 months now and I could not have imagined what a wonderful blessing they would have been to us. Our son had a hard time adapting to a new environment and they were so patient with him and provided him the comfort that he needed to where now he is doing amazing! My son really took to Mrs. Shari and we even joke that she is his daycare mom. She does amazing with the kiddos and you can tell that she really enjoys her job and puts so much motivation into being an amazing childcare worker. Mrs. Sequoia is another exemplary employee of Stone Bridge and I am honored to be able to have them care for my child. I have not honestly met one employee that I did not feel good about and that is HUGE for a daycare facility. I would not recommend sending your child to this daycare. The center appears to be short-staffed and often out of ratio. From my experience, they do not seem to have the time or resources to properly address children's behaviors or provide the support that is needed when challenges arise. During the time my child attended, her behavior significantly declined and she began acting out in ways that were not typical for her. It did not seem like the teachers made an effort to build a relationship with her or truly get to know her needs. Instead of working to support her, the concerns escalated without meaningful intervention. The situation became so concerning that I sought an evaluation for my daughter. Since transferring her to a different center, she has been thriving and doing extremely well. She genuinely disliked attending this daycare, which was very hard to see as a parent. In addition, I found the staff to be unprofessional at times, particularly the front desk staff. The director was rarely present, and communication and leadership felt lacking. My child was suspended on multiple occasions, yet we were still expected to pay during those suspensions. The final suspension was "until further notice," at which point I made the decision to disenroll her. Overall, our experience was disappointing, and I would strongly encourage other parents to carefully consider their options before enrolling their child here. read more

Our family could not speak more highly of Stone Bridge Preschool! We moved to Las Vegas for our jobs and our daughter was with family until she was 3 years old. I'm sure you could imagine our care and concern as we were selecting a school. We have been part of CCLA family for 6 months until they closed down and Krista (Director) has done nothing, but great things for ccla school and with her opening her own school I know it will be AWESOME!!! The moment we had our tour I knew that the very best was right here, and that was what we wanted; what parent doesn't. We feel like such a part of the Stone Bridge family. Our daughter and I bonded with her teachers immediately. They do such an amazing job selecting families who are truly invested in their child's education as well as the community. We also see her knowledge and social skills just flourishing. The whole staff has taken an interest in our child, but I see it with all of the families who walk through the door. Another huge benefit is how they have worked with us through normal childhood milestones like potty training and overcoming picking eating. They care so much it's just incredible. If this school went through grade 12 we would be honored to remain a part of this incredible institution!! read more

My grandkids started a year ago. With a sadden heart I had to take them out because I moved away. This was my grandkids home away from home. This was the first childcare that I put them in and I LOVED IT!!!!!! Mrs. Cee Cee and staff did a wonderful job with my grandson I was so nervous to drop him off only at 4 months old but she reassured me that he will be ok and he was. He learned so much from her she will really truly be missed..... My granddaughter never went to daycare so it was really hard for her at first. She did great after a month she was really excited to go to school. She has always been a very shy little girl but within a month she opened up a lot. She will miss all of her friends and teachers very much and she will never forget them they really touched her heart. Now Mrs Karina she is AWESOME she know hers stuff anything I asked of her she would always make a way. She really makes the school run smoothly and most of all she always made me comfortable from the beginning to the end. I will truly miss my home away from home family. As first time parents finding a daycare for an infant can be excruciatingly nerve-wracking. However, when my husband and I toured Stone Bridge with our 2 month old, we finally felt like we could breathe. At Stone Bridge, I truly feel that my child is adored and well cared for. Ratios of children to adults is always small. He is always welcomed warmly and his teachers always check in to see how he is doing, really, how we as a family are doing. Additionally, I never feel like I have to chase someone down to know how his day went. The daily communication between teachers and parents is amazing. They touch base at drop off, pick up and send home notes of how his day went. They also have an app to view pictures of the kiddos during the day. On top of the staff being so caring and kind, the facility is always so clean. Which is such a relief, especially with an infant. Having worked in similar settings and seeing other facilities in the valley, it's easy to see that they are following licensing reqs all the time, whether or not someone is watching. You will not find any better daycare! I use to work for a daycare and this place is 100% better! Always clean and full of life. The staff is amazing. Front office are always there for you no matter what. as for the teachers my daughter was always so happy seeing them. They know their kids well, even teachers who weren't my daughter's teachers knew her and greeted her everyday! Originally my daughter was across town at the cheapest place we could find and we hated it, found Stonebridge for $10 more and I get updates all day and communicated with! The price for being on this side of town you can't beat!! Plus the quality you get, it's a no brainer. I could tell the difference with my daughter as well, here she's always smiling and happy. She learned to sit up and get down by herself and has officially started crawling! All thanks to the help of her teachers! I absolutely love this school for my 2 and 4 year olds! From the moment we walk in, the teachers and front desk staff greet us so warmly and make us feel welcome every single day. It really means a lot to feel that kind of kindness and care. My children come home every day singing new songs, showing me their crafts, and talking about their friends. I also love being able to see pictures of their day on the app, it makes me feel connected and reassured that they're happy and learning. The school itself always smells fresh and clean, which tells me they take cleanliness seriously. The teachers and front desk staff are also great about keeping me informed and notifying me about anything that goes on, which I truly appreciate. My 4 yr old daughter has been going here for about 4 months now. She had never gone to any kind of school and was used to being home with our AuPair and myself. It was definitely an adjustment for her because of her separation anxiety. However, after a few weeks of being there, she's excited to go everyday. It's now to the point where she lays out her clothes for the week because she's excited to go. I love hearing about all the things she did in class. She absolutely loves her teacher Ms. Pam and has made many friends. They do lots of hands on learning and the kids seem to love it. I also love the app so you can communicate with teachers and staff and see pics throughout the day of what your child is working on. Overall, Stonebridge has been a great school, the teachers and staff are friendly and always welcome you with a smile and we love everything about it! Today was my son's first day at a new school. He had just gotten to the point where he sometimes didn't cry at his previous school. And he'd been out of school and home with me for about a week (which is all he's ever wanted). I thought today would be hard..but he walked right into class and sat down in the circle for storytime. When I picked him up he didn't run to me telling me he'd been waiting it crying that he wanted me there. He stayed and findished making "dinner" for a student. Then he put some other things away and grabbed his backpack and marched right out. No tears. No clinging desperate hugs. Just a happy kid. They have an app and post photos and give updates. I LOVE it..and it's so reasonably priced. There's a video feed in the front so you can peek anytime. The ladies at the front are very helpful. The curriculum is amazing ) specially for toddlers!) I'm excited to see what more comes of this relationship. read more
