We booked a babysitter through Nanny's and Granny's during our recent visit to Las Vegas and had a great experience. Jenny M. babysat our 7 year old daughter in our hotel room at the Aria from 5pm to midnight one night. She was friendly, responsive, on-time, and communicative. I did a quick call with Jenny before she babysat for us and I appreciated that she asked about our screen time policy and our daughter's interests. Jenny then brought relevant activities with her - for example, my daughter loved creating sticker art with Jenny. Working with Nanny's and Granny's was easy and simple. Their prices are a bit steep at $55/hour, but I valued the peace of mind that using a babysitter that had been vetted by a reputable agency brought. November 2021, we were planning on moving to Vegas from Denver and had never used a nanny placement service before... I was burnt out from using FB groups to find care. The girls at Nanny's & Granny's work hard, and the owner (Sarah) works incredibly hard *with* her team, which for me, speaks volumes... It's just nice knowing that the owner makes herself available to her employees and her customers. She somehow always makes sure that things go smoothly, and it is clear she takes pride in her company and work. The nannies we have used for my three young kids have always been wonderful. They bring games or activities with them, so my kids actually ENJOY Nanny & Granny nights! Some of them do a pretty amazing job at cleaning up at the end of the night. It is so nice to be able to go out knowing that your kids are in good hands and that you won't come home to a mess. None of my kids have ever complained about or had any problems with any of their nannies. Their housecleaners are top notch too. To start off the quality of care you child receives is based on how much you are willing to pay. Apparently they have tier/levels $$$ NOW on what type of care your child will receive. $30 for classic, $35 for vip, $40 for vip plus and $45 for elite and keep in mind these are prices for locals I cannot imagine what prices they give to those that are in hotels. All in all this concept scared me right off the bat. The quality of child care services should never be based on how much more you can afford it is a ridiculous concept. When I asked for clarification they said that $30 gets you a nanny thats new to the job and has no work history with them, $35 gets you someone a bit more experienced. $40 is someone that has worked with them. And $45 is someone that is experienced and can assist with other tasks around the house, like cleaning. But keep in mind if you have a child with special needs or a child that they would consider to be very needy they would only give you the option to pay for the $45 elite service. This was the pricing provided for an occasional booking not a recurring service. I am baffled that this has been the route this business has taken to charge more. When i first used them they used to charge $20 an hour then they went up to $25 and then it was $30. The biggest problem I have with them and their price increase is that they present themselves as this exclusive top tier service as if they offer something more than your regular nanny, to justify the high price but truthfully my experiences were never anything special. I would like to even know what tier I was receiving for the price I was paying back when I was paying $20 an hr or $25 hr. Who was really taking care of my child? because once i looked deeper into this company it seems that they want to do everything and they want to do so much, nanny, house keeping, cleaning, training, payroll, taxes?!?! yep not kidding look it up on their website. They want to do it all and when a company wants to take on many areas of business thats when things start to fall between the cracks. It is impossible to manage multiple services coming through a business and what tends to happen is that they stop paying attention to the quality and focus more on the quantity of services they fullfill. The last few visits I had from them there was a lot of confusion, miscommunication and no real connection to who was caring for our child. Nothing happened thankfully but the service is not what's said to be. The people they hire to be nannying Im sure are the same people that are taking on other tasks in their business (meaning that they seem to be hiring anyone to be a nanny) and I do believe this is also a reason for their tier pricing, most will only be able to afford the $30 tier and in that case they can hire anyone to be a nanny since they say that the classic service gets you someone new that they just hired. There was never any proof shown of the qualifications they guarantee for the nannies to have. This company has lost my trust through the experiences I had with them in the past. It all felt so unorganized and like they scramble around just to find anyone to get the service done with and get paid. I decided to do more research and was able to find real professional companies that are solely committed to child care and nanny services and my experience was entirely different with them and that my experience with nannies and grannies was not the norm. The pricing was also much more reasonable. I hope this review helps other parents that are locals and new to Vegas because child care should not have a pricing model like if it were a luxury service and if it is priced as a luxury then you should get your moneys worth for everything they claim to be. read more

We did a ton of research ahead of the trip and, frankly, did not feel comfortable leaving our 12 month old child with anyone else there. None of the other options were ones we were willing to take. Our trip literally would not have been possible were it not for Nanny's & Granny's, and our incredible nanny Esther. This is a family run business and it shows. I called multiple times and spoke with the owner Sarah who patiently answered all of my questions in great detail. She then assigned a nanny (Esther) who best fit our needs. Esther also spoke with us on the phone multiple times and answered all of our questions leading up to our trip. We kept in touch via email as well and she made sure everything would run as smoothly as possible. She knew the hotels that were kid friendly, offered child proofing, provided cribs, high chairs, etc. When it came time to watch our child, Esther came 30 minutes early for free, just to meet our child and spend time with her while we were there so that our child would be comfortable with her when we left. Esther bonded with our child immediately, brought her a toy, and had a series of activities planned to keep her entertained for the entire time we were gone. She patiently listened to all of our (over) detailed instructions about the specific routine for our child and respected our requests. She also took photos and gave us updates throughout the day and was, of course, always available to talk to us. We had her come two days in a row and our child had so much fun with her each time.
