We tell the front about it and they tell us that it's been put on hold and no other payments will come out of our account. Fast forward to 8/30 and our account gets another $320 out! That's $160 + $160 + $320 in a span of 1 week! I'm so pissed our account is now overdrawn and we removed her from the daycare bc $640 has been taken to watch our child for 5 days! Wth. I've been calling over and over on 8/32 to get the owner to refund us and now it's 4:55pm. They tell us that they have a meeting with the owner and will let me know what will happen. Called at 8am, 11:30am, 3pm, 4:10pm. Our account is overdrawn by $100 and they can't do anything bc the owner wasn't available till 4:30pm for a meeting to discuss this issue! I'm livid and pissed off and idk when I'm going to get an update! I like the convenience of a 24/7 daycare but this is crazy. I just got a job as a server and have been patiently waiting for the office to fix it and now my car payment and everything has been declined. (The owner) He refuses to give us a refund bc the policy states that we will give a 2 week notice. Why would I continue to have my daughter attend and the next 2 weeks your company will charge another $320 or more. He also said we owe a balance at infinity the other daycare. But I asked them to clear that balance bc my daughter got Covid and couldn't attend for 2 weeks. This owner doesn't care about the children or the parents only making money. The daycare doesn't even offer food for the children. Or a fridge for the lunches for the kids. The owner thinks that me posting my review is a "threat" no it's not! I'm bringing awareness to other parents bc we just got another notification today on 9/1 for another $160 due! Even with a $160 and $320 credit on our account your brightwheel app is trying to charge us another week! It's only been 2 weeks! I removed my 5-year-old from this daycare after a serious safety issue involving transportation during a field trip. My child is approximately 47 inches tall and 45 pounds. He told me that he was transported back to the daycare in a passenger van without a booster seat at all. The following day, I personally brought his high-back booster seat to ensure he was properly restrained. I was then told by Brittney that the back needed to be removed so that other children could fit in the vehicle. Without the high-back portion, the seat belt was positioned across my child's neck, which I was not comfortable with. I insisted that the booster remain properly assembled and used. What concerned me most was the response when I raised the issue. I was initially told that my child did not need a booster seat, rather than having my concerns about his safety taken seriously. After this incident, I no longer felt comfortable allowing them to care for or transport my child, so I withdrew him immediately. I do want to recognize JJ, who was always incredibly welcoming, kind, and loving toward my son. He genuinely enjoyed seeing her, and I truly appreciated the care she showed him. My experience with JJ was always positive, and my concerns are not a reflection of every staff member at the facility. However, child safety, especially when transporting young children, is something I cannot overlook. I'm sharing my experience so other parents can make an informed decision and know what questions to ask regarding field trip transportation and proper child restraints.

Thanks to his teacher, he is very self-expressive and has so many friends throughout the facility! Ms. Faith finds fun and cool ways to incorporate STEM learning into their everyday curriculum. She also ensures to teach and celebrate a wide range of cultures and holidays such as Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, and Lunar New Year! The classroom is filled with a diverse group of children so it is important to her that she does something special every month to celebrate them! My 6yo attends the facility on days that CCSD schools are out (holidays, spring/summer breaks). She has grown close with other children there and when I pick her up at the end of the day, she tells me she had an "Awesome day!" The summer break camp for the older kids is great because they have field trips planned out every week. The front desk staff are by far the best group of people, who are always willing to assist families if needed. Whenever I dropped her off or picked her up, she was in great spirits because I truly think she had a great time there. The staff is extremely willing to work with you and they do the best they can to help each family individually. I unfortunately Had to pull my daughter on Friday 8/7 Due to some major health and safety concerns. On Saturday My daughter was admitted to the PICU at 6 AM. I had to take her to the ER because her oxygen dropped to 88% and was fluctuating between 88%- 94% Even after breathing treatments and repositioning. She was diagnosed with Mycoplasma pneumoniae and she will be in the PICU for a minimum of 3 days. I had noticed there was a child who was extremely Sick and was having severe coughing fits. I brought my concerns up to the director, and as you can see in the message, she did acknowledge that the child was coughing but only made a courtesy call to let the mother know her child was still sick. I believe that child should've been sent home for the simple fact that the teachers were unable to stop this child from coughing on other children, Wiping her nose and then touching other children and toys,& really just maintaining basic health standards. I understand that children get sick and I understand that the staff is not able to have their eye on the children 24/7. However, this poses a major health concern If they're still going to allow sick children to be there. When I addressed my concerns, I was hit with the pretty generic corporate response and told to refer to the policy. As you can see (photo attached) -- the policy is quite vague and leaves a lot of room for interpretation. I've highlighted the section that I feel would've qualified that child to be sent home. The director stated multiple times that she is not a doctor And doesn't have much medical knowledge. I, however, am a health professional, and I do have the medical knowledge. I knew that the wet, productive cough, loud breathing & severe crying, we're all signs and symptoms of more than just a common cold. So, In this case, they weren't even following their own policy. There were approximately 20 babies who were exposed to Mycoplasma pneumoniae because of their negligence. I think it's in the best interest of the facility to review their sick policy and make some changes to avoid anything like this happening in the future. They're inability to follow their own policy, Has left me with an extremely sick child, PICU bills & a week of lost income. If you do choose to sign your child up, I suggest that you look over the policies extremely closely & DO NOT let them downplay your concerns like they did with me. If you have a child that is more susceptible to illness I would suggest looking elsewhere. The staff was very kind throughout this entire process (even when I had a sever attitude w/ them out of frustration) but that does not negate their negligence to this serious situation. I will be attempting to meet with the director on Monday to go over her policy so they can make proper changes to avoid this happening w/ other children. But, for me my trust in the facility is completely tarnished

Anytime I messaged or brought up a concern, they responded promptly and professionally. My son's teacher, Ms. Elisabet, was also very nice. One thing they do well is using the Brightwheel app. They send updates and photos throughout the day, which I appreciated as a parent. Unfortunately, my son did not seem very happy there. At every drop-off and pick-up he would cry and scream, which is not typical for him. He has been in daycare since he was 6 weeks old and is usually a very happy baby. I initially thought he just needed time to adjust, but it continued every single day. I personally found the strict closed-door policy difficult. Parents are not allowed to walk their children to the classroom or see inside the facility. As a parent, it felt uncomfortable not being able to see the environment where my child was spending 8 hours a day. I also feel this made transitions harder for my son. Another concern was with meals. Meals are included in the price, but the daily menu was not clearly communicated. The Brightwheel app would simply say that my son "ate all food," but it did not specify what he actually ate that day. His nap schedule was also adjusted to fit the group schedule. My son naturally gets tired around 10:30 a.m. because he wakes up at 5 a.m. each day. However, naps were pushed to 12 p.m. so all the children could sleep at the same time. Often he would fall asleep earlier from exhaustion, be woken up for lunch, and then put back down later. When I picked him up, he frequently seemed very tired and fussy. Toward the end of his time there, my son became very sick after daycare one day. Shortly after picking him up, he began vomiting and developed a high fever, which later turned out to be a viral infection and stomach bug. When I picked him up that day he already didn't look well, but no staff mentioned that he seemed sick during the day. I had to ask what he had eaten because whatever he had seemed to upset his stomach. He ended up missing three days of daycare because of it. With my son being unhappy at drop-off and pick-up, getting sick, and the center's hours not working well with my schedule, I ultimately had to withdraw him on short notice. I do appreciate the staff and believe they do their best to care for the children. I wish the experience had worked out better for us. My son now attends a different daycare that allows parents to walk children into the classroom, and he hasn't cried once at drop-off or pick-up--even on the first day. We both feel much more at ease.

I use to feel so different about this place as you'll see in my review years back!! I've enrolled my 4 month old son here. In the mornings when I dropped him off I would give the teacher updates. Well when I would pick up from the evening teacher she didn't know any of the updates I provided. When I told the morning teacher if you can up his milk intake the evening teacher had no idea. Lacking communication in a daycare is beyond me. That should be key! Also there were times where the primary teacher was absent and other teachers filled in and my son's items weren't taken to the class he was in and I was messages he had no more diapers. I mentioned this to the primary teacher the next day because when items are running low a heads up should be provided and she stated I did have diapers. That's to point that this place isn't organized. How do you not know where to look for items . I didn't put too much into these things even though they shouldn't be happening UNTIL.. one day I brought my son home. While changing his diaper I saw a cut on his leg I messaged the app and no one responded. I figured it's late maybe tomorrow. All next day went by and no response. So I called at 4pm asking what happened. Evitta didn't know which I can understand if the teacher didn't communicate but was quick to say I sign in into tablets but I don't respond it's the teachers. In my mind I was thinking so if there's an emergency nothing gets responded too unless assigned teacher comes back! Why isn't there INCIDENT REPORTS the day off!! And messages should be checked every morning. Minutes later I got a message from a teacher stating it was a scratch she forgot to tell me. The teacher that responded don't know how she got into the mix. But saying "I forgot!!" Unacceptable! My son doesn't walk, crawl or sit. He definitely wasn't watched if he was hurt. I'll attach a picture. I also had my 8,10 and 11 years old enrolled here. I can tell you about the time my 11 year old son was accused of something that sounded much worse than it was because Evitta the director chose the wrong word choice. I was told the next day about it and she started by saying two girls gave the same statement so it's true!! SMH!! All to uncover that her story was not accurate and my son was helping teachers because kids were being bad! My 11 year old helping. Or the time a child exposed himself in class to everyone. But the one thing that was it for me was my kids not eating breakfast. I was at the front about to pay when a parent came out to tell Ruby that the teacher told her son wouldn't be eating breakfast because it was served already. And so ruby told the parent I'll make sure he eats. I told her please my kids too. Breakfast is from 7-730 my kids arrived at 7:14. That day when we got home my kids expressed they didn't want to go back because the class is just so loud and that they didn't eat breakfast. Obviously I'm mad because I had mentioned to ruby to please issue breakfast to my kids. I'll attach the picture of 7:14 drop off and no breakfast. The next day ruby wasn't there so I expressed to Evitta and she simply said she'll talk to her and might have to switch back to morning because there's been quite a mess with her in the mornings. Also my kids are signed in and out when I'm not there for payment purposes. When I asked Evitta why? She said she don't know it gets sent off to another lady and she takes care off it. Isn't that considered FRAUD! For context I have a subsidy. I notified children's cabinet and they stated they are not suppose to do that. I'll attach the picture of signing in and out for payment. Lastly, sometimes you question certain things and they'll say the app glitches. That's always the to go reason. This place needs way more than training! I hate that I waited so long to take them out but all 4 of my kids have been unenrolled. P.S Teachers are leaving left and right and that's a huge red flag! Also on google you cannot leave reviews and on their website they don't have the option.
