I was nervous Just thinking about leaving my baby in the hands of strangers, but the staff at H&D eased my mind. H&D is great, it is like leaving your kids with relatives, but better. Once you're in, you are part of the family because they will treat you as such. My son is now 3 and I've seen tremendous growth in him over the years, and I've even learned a lot as a first-time mom. I am not looking forward to the day when he will have to go to school and leave H&D forever. H&D emphasizes learning and development of children, which I truly appreciate. Oh and btw, they have tons of activities during the summer. I have not left a review until now because it's such a hidden gem. If any incident involving any kind of injury or mishap occurs, they call you immediately. They give you daily "progress reports," where you can see what your child ate, what time he/she ate as well as what time they used the restrooms. Meals (Breakfast/lunch/dinner) are included in the tuition. Cameras litter the facility and if there ever is an issue, they have no issue with running the cameras back. Overall, a well ran daycare.

We viewed a few different places before finding Kindercare upon meeting with the Director, Kashmir and Assistant Director Lilly and viewing the facility. From talking to Kashmir and Lilly they were able to provide all information regarding the curriculum, expectations from the parents, they assist with potty training if needed and gave in depth information for holiday request and hours. Our daughter was very excited to meet them and within the first 15 minutes, felt like she was at home. It was in our daughter's best interest to start at this childcare center. The facility is very clean and orderly, and the staff is amazing. There is a wonderful worker named Stephanie who ensures that the place is always in tiptop shape as well making the conscious decision by exposing our children to great healthy options when it comes to their food. When paying for daycare at this location, it comes with their meals and snacks. My daughter's teachers over the years, started with Celeste who has been such a great influence on my daughter and ensures to make sure that she is taken care of from all her basic needs and beyond. There is Sophia, who is our current main teacher who she has a very close relationship with and insists to help her process her emotions. There is Latoya who makes sure that when my daughter or any child is upset gets time to create space and then voice their feelings and validate their concerns. Aaliyah helps with the curriculum and ensure the children are working on their sight words, colors, numbers shapes, volumes of objects, as well as the fun projects that they work on for the holidays in class. My'Unique works on pronunciation and phonics for them as well as gardening classes and culinary beginnings. Carmen is another teacher who may not have her directly in her class, but make sure to assist in any issues that occur with the students and jumps in to help out the other teachers as needed. Altogether the staff really works hard to ensure your children are taken care of on a multitude of levels and I highly recommend any parent to check out this facility as they really do accommodate the parents needs the best that they can and are always throwing several different events for the parents to be involved with our children. This has definitely been my favorite daycare and my daughter will continue to be remaining here even through her first year of school for all those holidays that they are off, including summer. We can't say enough good things about the staff and communication. As a new mom, I was nervous to send my then-18mo old into a daycare but the teachers alleviated my concerns. I still remember the first day when we dropped him off, I received a video of him *not crying* and singing with his new classmates, within 15 minutes. The teachers work hard to take care of the children and I can feel the love they pour into each student. The staff are extremely patient. We have a picky eater and Ms. Chrissy and the teachers worked to get him to eat and really encouraged him to try new things. The teachers make every effort to get kids to engage and get along. They address all my concerns and work diligently to prepare my pre-k student for kindergarten. I love to see his writing progress and his vocabulary explode! We love all the updates and newsletters. We especially love the pictures and videos the teachers send. I love the app we use to communicate and receive updates for the kids throughout the day. While this location is small, I also think it adds to the family feel and all the teachers know the children/parents. I feel safe sending my kids to this school and do not hesitate to recommend them to future families. No one greeted us, offered a tour, or made any effort to answer questions. The owner didn't even acknowledge us, she just looked us up and down. After supporting the event by buying from the vendors, we expected at least some basic customer service. The director, Iveda, was dismissive and came across as rude when we asked about enrollment. It honestly felt like they weren't interested in talking to potential families. If this is how they treat parents before enrollment, I can't imagine what the experience is like afterward. I wouldn't recommend this daycare.
