We will definitely be back again! We ordered the pretzel appetizer and the Hot Honey Pie pizza and both were excellent. Delicious crust. Can't wait to try again soon!

Place is small BUT JP made the experience BIG! Pizza and drink suggestions made this the best first visit ever. Sit at the bar and he will not let you down!

Gladstone truly has some hidden gems when it comes to yummy food. This is one of those places. Friendly servers and awesome environment. I love their pizza. I get honey wheat crust, extra cheese, pepperoni... and yes I'm the person who believes pineapple belongs on pizza. A medium is 6 pieces and can feed two to three people easily. There is plenty of seating inside & outside and plenty of TVs to watch the games on. If you're in the Northland, check it out.

Barbie often asks me to put my stone in her canyon, but this is nothing to do with that (or I don't think it is anyway). Sad to hear that this pizza place is closed down, but hopefully it's only temporary. I have to be honest that the pizza here is bad, and you don't expect anything else in Missouri to be honest. While St Louis has its own style, even that doesn't do it for me, and out here in Kansas City I've never had a good slice of pizza. Having said that, they have great service and their sandwiches are actually pretty good. I would only come here for sandwiches but I definitely hope they open again and wish them well.

Our first time here and our experience was not good . We decided to have the burger specials . While the burgers were good , the fries were horrible. They were nearly black like they were fried in old oil , soggy and cold . They didn't even look like they should have been served . The server agreed they were bad , but never offered us a new serving of fresh fries . When we got the check , we had to ask for a discount because we were never offered one . We got $3.00 off our total bill for two half meals because the fries were not edible . The manager did come over and talk to us and admitted the fries are not good , apologized and offered dessert , but by that time we were too disappointed and just wanted to leave .

This pizza shop was a nice surprise. As a former Brooksider/Waldo resident, both Waldo and Artego pizza had set the bar. Now as a northlander, one question I had was "where can I find a local/close place to find great pizza?" Stone Canyon was my answer! Nice selection from crust style, toppings, apps, drinks, and pasta they have you covered. Very friendly and attentive staff at the Gladstone spot. Inside and outside patio seating available. Full bar and it looked like a private area for small parties/gatherings. Nice addition to the Linden Square development.

Absolutely best ranch in town. The ranch with a side of pepperoni pizza has to be the best thing on the menu. Give it a try.

Well seasoned and not greasy. The lunch came with 3 pieces of chicken, a scoop of green beans (has bacon and onion in it fyi) and a scoop of their delicious mashed potatoes with white creamy gravy (no pepper, more cheesy, so good). I do wish they gave you a bit more of the sides, but it was a good amount for the $ at lunch. Appreciate the bread and butter as you wait for the meal. Our server and everyone we interacted with were so nice. The space is very cozy and comfortable. We definitely plan to go back for dinner soon, as we hadn't been here for many years?

The pasta was a great accent to the chicken and the citrus was the dominant flavor, in the best way! My friend loved the gnocchi. The potato Dumplings were large and fluffy. Dessert was exquisite. We shared a huge piece of the Berry Cream Torte.

What really stood out right away was the service. The lady taking our orders was incredibly nice and personable, and she actually took the time to walk us through the menu to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. I went with the #5, which is their version of a Sicilian Muffuletta. It was phenomenal. It's stacked with mortadella, salami, provolone, ham, and Swiss cheese, topped perfectly with a red wine vinaigrette chopped olive salad, all sitting on a beautifully toasted seeded loaf. One of my friends ordered the #20 Reuben, and it was a masterpiece. We're talking melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu corned beef, legit sauerkraut from Brooklyn, house-made Russian dressing, and melty Swiss, all piled high between two buttery, toasted slices of marble rye bread. Naturally, I also grabbed a couple of their homemade chocolate chip cookies, and we got a raspberry and blueberry tiramisu that was absolutely terrific. You just can't leave a place like this without hitting the dessert menu! I consider myself very lucky to have experienced this spot. Honestly, if I lived in the area, I'd probably gain 50 lbs--and it would be worth every single ounce!

We started with the goat cheese fondue appetizer, which was rich, flavorful, and a great way to kick off the meal. I also ordered the Passion Mare cocktail, which was refreshing and paired well with lunch. Service was a little slow when we first arrived, but once things got moving, everything was smooth. The food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the location couldn't have been more convenient since it was just a short walk from our hotel. The MAI TAI, ENVY OF ALL & the white SANGRIA were all tasty, but at $18 a piece, they should have been spectacular. Taste/presentation did NOT warrant the price tag. We are always delighted to see a WEDGE SALAD on the menu & it was just what you expect in a wedge, which never disappoints, but croutons were unnecessary. Unusual the house dressing was a peppercorn ranch for an Italian restaurant, which was heavy for the MIXED GREENS salad. The CAESER was a winner for my 16 year old son. My 91 year old mother, enjoy the CHEF SOUP, which was turkey & rice... this is high praise for one who always has soup and typically finds fault. The CHICKEN PICCATA was meh. I know this is a safe dish for people to order, but this version had no zest, choose something else. The CHICKEN CARBONARA was served with the egg yolk in the center so you stir it into the hot pasta to cook it. My son loved this presentation, made it fun and most importantly DELICIOUS. Our BEST dish was the BRAISED BONELESS SHORT RIB! When we return to KCMO, we'll definitely reorder this dish and sample some of the others. For dessert we shared the COCONUT BANANA CRÈME PIE... too bad it had whipped cream and not baked merengue.

Since it was time for lunch and I was starving, I stopped in to try them. Walking in, you will see the counter and the cooks preparing food. The dining room is decorated nicely, which reminds you of a restaurant, not a To-Go restaurant like the entrance. I couldn't decide what to order, so I decided on the Taste of Italy, which includes cheese lasagna (I added the meat sauce), chicken spending, alfredo, and a stick of garlic bread. I couldn't resist ordering the chocolate mousse cake. Delish! REVIEW The sauce on the lasagna was full of spice and flavor, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The Chicken Spedini was tender with a strong garlic flavor (loved it!). The Alfredo had a creamy white sauce that reminded me of a smooth mac and cheese sauce, and the Chocolate Mousse Cake was so delicious! You must try it. The chocolate mousse had a soft, creamy, whipped texture that melted in my mouth. It had a smooth, chocolatey whipped flavor that tasted like the best chocolate ice cream I've ever eaten! Unfortunately, the meal turned into an unexpected deep dive into the olive oil industry. We stopped in for takeout which the highlight was the service did not disappoint! Our order came out within minutes (we placed when we got there) the server helped us choose some of their top rated items. The chicken lemonata arrived swimming in so much oil and lemon juice that the pasta could have qualified for a slip-and-slide competition. The garlic cheese sticks, pizza, and chicken fettuccine Alfredo were slightly more edible, but everything leaned heavily toward "greasy spoon" rather than "Italian comfort food." For nearly $70, we were left disappointed and still hungry. Honestly, Chef Boyardee might have won this round from the pantry shelf at home... and for a fraction of the price. We really wanted to love this spot because it is fast and convenient, but sadly this one was not our pasta-bility.

We dined during Restaurant Week, and ordered the Burnt Ends and Garlic Butter Shrimp.
