I ordered the 8 inch Tay's: Steak, bell peppers, onions, & cheese. You order at the counter and it's brought to your table. I sat inside, but there are patio tables ( outside ) as well. I always start with how the food is served before I add anything. After 2 bites ( which were good ) I drizzled a half laddle of Au Jus over the sandwich. The au jus elevated the flavor and it was Fantastic. There is a sauce table with lots of options for in house dinners and take out. I assume it's complementary as i just helped myself. Its a cute little store with very attentive staff and some special recipes. I got myself the Vegan burrito and the Matcha tea. The burrito had a soy churro, tofu, sweet potato, spinach and mustard sauce . It was very filling , and tasted so good that I was stuffing my myself even when my stomach was asking me to stop .... and then the cold Matcha tea- the tea was good but I needed it more sweetened . But, it made a good combination with my warm burrito. I was soo full, I skipped even supper.... I had to listen to my stomach sometime ! The curios on the wall are cute and tgey are for sale. Handmade by local artists, they make great souvenirs if only they had the one little word Kansas on them . One thing I found difficult, finding a cab at 3 pm. It took 20 min for the cab to arrive. Am not sure if it was the timing or the location. Best to go there in your own vehicle. Would love to come again if I am in the city.

My mom ordered one of the salads though, and honestly it looked better than my sandwich. It was loaded with fresh toppings, and she said the ranch was excellent. If I come back, I'd probably skip the sandwich altogether and give one of the salads a try. Overall, I can definitely appreciate what they're going for. The waitress asked if we wanted her to take it back... of course we didn't want to eat it... But you could tell she didn't want us to say "please take it back". Note to Servers: the next time you have a plate of undesirable food, please don't leave it up to the guest to send food back (like she did), just pick up the plate and say you'll make it right. We hate complaining and rarely say if we don't like something. So, we just tried to eat it, but couldn't. And we regretted that decision the rest of the day.
