My partner and I were so excited to move in here. It's a decent property and the unit (after a quick tour) seemed pretty great! Then we had to apply... Jessica and Tracy in the front office were very blunt and genuinely did not care whether they closed the lease or not. Jessica in particular was monotone, inconsistent in explanations, and very impersonal. We asked to speak to the property manager on the phone, but Yajaira was not in yet... at 11:30 am. Ultimately, Yajaira refused to answer our questions but did offer to "facilitate the cancellation process". Which, may have been helpful? We had such a difficult time trying to give them our money, I can't imagine what it must be like to try to submit a request for service or get a call back. read more

I usually never leave reviews, but today I had 2 missed calls on my phone from Jessica, after receiving an email from this property saying I had been denied, she proceeded to get on the phone to ask if I had a co-signer who makes 5x the rent because my score was low even though before I did the application the website states if your score falls below their requirements they will require a larger deposit to move in which is fair because I knew my situation . She then tries to belittle me by bringing up the fact that my score was low (like I didn't know that already, and that you guys choose to accept who you want. I will say that is fine but you guys should just be very careful of who you have on your phones because it's not what you say it's how you say it ... I make over 5k a month and my bank statements were from 3/24/22. Why call me, just to try to piss me off ? read more

I was excited about moving to the Stonecreek community, great price, large apartment, and a courtesy officer on site. As of today I regret ever moving here!! We have had nonstop problems since we moved here. 1. The refrigerator broke not once but twice. Both times we lost all of our groceries and no compensation was offered. 2. The bathroom roof...the worst and most nastiest experience ever (see pictures). A very condensed explanation of the 6 month issue is we called maintenance to fix the issue she came sprayed bleach/germicide and essentially said it was our fault for not showering with the bathroom vent on!!! Never in my 5 years of renting have I had to shower with the vent going ! After her temporary fix we were concerned because we did not want to be inhaling mold so we called a third party maintenance company to survey the area he took a moisture reading and informed us the moisture reading is high which indicated a roof leak. We informed the complex which then they took us serious and sent out the maintenance supervisor and a roof tech. in the following weeks they said they repaired the roof and the issue should be fixed. No surprise it still to this day is not 3 requests later and more bleach/germicide spray the spots continue to form on the ceiling. At this point I'm under the impression they do not care. 3. To top it all off we have now disposed of all the pantry food due to bugs infesting all of our dry food (see photo below) we are in the process of having them removed but if it's anything like the roof issues I'm not expecting them to fully resolve the issue. Overall I can't wait until this lease is over that's if I don't break it first. The price is good for the brookhaven/Atlanta area but trust me it's not worth the headache. I'm most upset because the office has recommended I go thru renters insurance for compensation and provided a corporate number for ME to pursue the issue further. A simple acknowledgment of the issues and compensation for at least my groceries would have been a great move but instead I now how to jump thru hoops just to get MY Money back for their apartment errors. Stay away from the Stonecreek apartments and believe the other bad reviews because they are telling the truth. read more

I moved here several months ago so I feel like I have been here long enough to give a fair opinion of this complex. I toured several units before signing the lease on my current apartment and noticed some units are well kept and better maintained than others. Grounds are ok, several street lights have been out and the parking lots get really dark. Received no assistance from the staff on that issue so I've had to contact georgia power myself to get them to change out the lightbulbs. My major issue with this complex is that they have a no smoking policy in units and community areas and claim to be a smoke free facility. In the leasing agreement it states they will fine anyone who is in violation. This can't be further from the truth. My apartment reeks of smoke and weed. I've been going back and forth with office staff with no resolution. Myself and my roommate have asked to speak with the manager Sabrikah on several different occasions and have received the same excuse every time that she isn't available or she isn't in the office. If you like clean air, this isn't the place for you. Don't let their "smoke free community" fool you. read more

If you want to live in a decent or nice apartment, DO NOT LIVE HERE. The apartment we toured was in amazing shape since it used for show, however, the day we moved into our unit, floors had been ruined previously, blinds broken, crown molding broken with no plans of having them fixed. I would not had moved in if I knew the unit would come in that condition. That is called cat fishing. On top of that, our dish washer was broken for 2 months even after several maintenance requests. We paid over $2,000 in rent each month and couldn't even get the bare minimum here. On top of these minor issues, when the freeze came in Dec. 2022, our entire building flooded. I know that is not their fault, however, how they handle it is. No carpet was ever replaced in my unit or flooring even after water was sitting for 2 weeks. After many calls and emails with Sabrykah, I was told the carpet was plastic and could not mold, which is comical. She said they would replace the padding underneath and that was it. However, our unit reeked of mold up until the day we moved out. If you live in unit 3004, goodluck. Even at my new apartment my belongings continued to smell of mold due to the conditions stonecreek left our unit in after the flood. I also continued to pay FULL RENT when I was unable to live in my unit due to the repairs. Sabrykah told us that the unit was deemed liveable due to running water based off the "American Red Cross Association". My carpet was pulled up so it could "air out" and my furniture rearranged to where I couldn't get to my clothes, how is that liveable? When they did have repair people come to replace the padding under the carpet and holes in the ceiling, the repair workers left their mess of popcorn ceiling residue ALL OVER. It was all over my furniture, clothing, etc and was never cleaned up after the several times of them having to come back for repairs over the span of THREE MONTHS. The gate was also broken majority of the time. The worst was when it was broken from January 2023- until we moved out in May 2023, not sure it was ever repaired. There were several car breaks in yet the staff did not care and said "the gate is broken, sorry we can't do anything". If you want a complex that cares and acts responsibly and professionally, DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!! read more

Anyone who has moved knows how stressful it can be, let alone moving from a different state. But Cherry in the leasing office made my move, from the DMV area, so easy. I rented an apartment here at Stone Creek with her help and I am very pleased with my decision. Because I was out of state, I was nervous about almost everything. Cherry was willing to be in constant communication with me, walking me through the process and answering any little questions with professionalism and promptness. Fix the visitors parking!! It's really frustrating to visit friends here and have to circle the parking lot like a vulture. I just waited 26 minutes for a parking spot. I'm here weekly visiting, I see the same motorcycle parked in a visitor spot. Clearly a resident! What's worse, you used to have more visitor parking because you can see the word VISITOR blacked out. For the price people are paying, you must believe they are well off with no friends. Update: circling for another 50 minutes now. read more

I've been living at Stone Creek since July of this year and have had a great experience thus far. The maintenance is very responsive and quick. Gym/pool area is well maintained. The grounds are well hidden and properly gated with night time security. The front office is very pleasant and responsive to any needs that we've had, especially Dangua Allen who has helped us a lot since we started considering Stone Creek and to this day. Despite other comments regarding the parking, I don't find it to be too cumbersome. Although some times it is a little difficult to find parking directly in front of my apartment I have never needed to park more than a 30 second walk away so I don't think taking a few extra steps is an issue by any means. Overall it's a great place run by some very friendly people. read more

This place went down hill in the last year. Maintenance is non existent, takes them 3-4 days to show up just to tell you they need to "order parts" but never follow up. They don't seem to want to fix the short circuit light panel in my kitchen ( requested multiple times) so we've gotten a fresh set of light bulbs in there once a month since we signed our second year lease with this place. On the bright side they have really nailed the mailbox break in email templates that they send out to residents, the third alert this summer and still no spelling or grammar errors! Now if only they would channel that energy into getting them fixed or putting a camera in so I can stop receiving the messages all together. read more

I recently moved to Stone Creek and it was the best decision I have made on an apartment complex so far in my life. I have lived in two other apartment complexes in the Atlanta/Buckhead area in the past two years. Immediately, the management team at Stone Creek exceeded my expectations. Sylvia (manager), Semika (assistant manager), and Stephanie (leasing staff) made a great first impression for the following reason: To make a long story short, I made a mistake in initially choosing the 0 bedroom/studio floor plan. I did not take into consideration how big my couch, coffee table, end tables were, and I realized a bit too late that I had made a mistake. I spoke with Stephanie and Semika on move-in day about the issue and they made it right immediately. There was a 1 bedroom available and they helped me fix the issue the day of move in. Management's attitude at Stone Creek of keeping the tenant happy was obvious from the start. I could not be happier in my new 1 bedroom apartment. Sylvia, Semika, and Stephanie- THANK YOU. For me, one of the most important aspects of an apartment complex is the competency of management. These three at Stone Creek seem to be the most competent in my experience so far, and I am very excited to do business with the Stone Creek management team over the next few years. The complex has also impressed me for the following reasons: -The area is very clean and it seems that management takes the appearance of the complex seriously. -Easy access to I-85, 400, Piedmont Road. -The apartment itself is beautiful. My one bedroom is ~1,000 sq. ft for a very fair price. It has a very large, private patio. It has an "office area" with a built in desk, which is nice for working from home. It has granite counter tops and cherry cabinets. The living room is spacious with enough room for a kitchen table. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious. Very big walk-in closets with additional closets for storage. I asked management to install laminate floors for me for an additional cost, which is still in the works (hoping it gets approved because it'll make the apartment look even better). -Gated community for additional safety with patrolling courtesy officers at night. -Beautiful pool area with grills and a bar area. -1.5 mile nature trail -Decent gym Overall, it is the nicest apartment/community I have lived in and has the friendliest management team. I've lived in quite a few apartments around the metro Atlanta area, and the thing that's really made all the difference for me is the people. At Stone Creek, there is a great team of people who really care about the residents. And nobody exemplifies this better than Cherry. I actually lived at Park Trace, another NALS property, before moving to Stone Creek. I met Cherry there and was blown away by how much she cared about all the residents. She is actually a huge part of why I decided to stick with NALS when I moved. She is the kindest, most wonderful person and goes above and beyond every single day to make sure the residents are taken care of. She remembers each person's name and develops relationships with every resident she meets. She just makes you feel like you're at home and that you have a friend who's looking out for you. I was ecstatic when she came to work at Stone Creek and am so grateful for all her kindness and help over the years. Cherry is really just a very special person and we are blessed to have her here. The rest of our leasing office team is fabulous too! They are so helpful and always follow up on everything which I really appreciate. When first moving in the dishwasher was full of a red sauce and a baby's pacifier. There was a sticky spot in the cupboard that could not come up. Everything else was okay until it came time to move out. I was asking to extend the lease by 3 weeks, instead of May 9th it would end on June 1st. I showed up to the office at the end of February (about 70 days before the lease was to end) and I asked about this because I thought I had to give 60 days notice. The front office told me that I would have to go month to month and then provide written notice 30 days before moving out, I asked if I could just give my notice then and they said no because they did not know what the market rate was. I come to find out this was a lie so as to find a way to sneak more money out of me because after multiple visits to the office in March, the story never changed. Then April 24th comes and they call saying that I cannot move out until 30 days after my lease ends (not at all what they told me before). So now I am forced to pay until June 9th when I had been planning all along to leave on June 1st and thought this was set up. If they would have just let me give my 70 day notice when I tried then none of this would have happened. Despite all of this, everyone was always nice and respectful, the nature trail is a very nice plus at the complex and it is extremely dog friendly. There is even a nice dog park with obstacles to let dogs get some exercise. I would recommend but be very careful when it comes time for your lease to end and get everything in writing. read more

Complete dump. 5 service calls in 2 months stay. One vent blowing heat while the other blew A/C. This was the middle of the winter too. Maintenance guy "fixing" something in our apartment while we were out and locked the deadbolt. My wife locked out of our apartment because of this. Stay as far away from this place as possible. Don't be fooled by the happy and polite office workers. Management is incredibly inflexible. DO NOT LEASE HERE! Please go elsewhere. UPDATE ON 6/27/16 I appreciate the post from Mallory. This is an individual I have never spoken with over my horrible dealings with the apartment complex. Didn't even know who she was. Regarding your ridiculous comment about maintenance locking the door - you do understand that the maintenance guy was inside our apartment fixing something and he locked the deadbolt from INSIDE so that my wife couldn't enter our apartment. He had music blaring too so he didn't hear her furiously knocking on the door to let her in. Your apologies mean ABSOLUTELY nothing to me because you did nothing to help us out. I am a proud renter of the Stone Creek Community. If you want peace, quite and a little fun time.... This is your place. I enjoy the complex and what it has to offer and management is WONDERFUL!!!! Don't get me wrong there is no perfect place anywhere however this is as close as it comes. I am a renter for sometime and I had neighbor issues and listening to hard walkers as well loud talkers but, management doesn't ignore any of it. When there is a problem it handled with the greatest of respect and ease. No hassel, No problems.... however when approaching the issues never come with a nasty disposition or attitude and anything can be accomplished. I really dealing with people you must respect and treat others like you want to be trweat. come as a professional and you get the world handed to you. The amenities are great the complex is clean an well kept, very well kept, and as a commmunity if you want to keep it this way then you have to do YOUR part. My stay never was the place or management, its the neighbors for the most part if they don't care you pay for it, if they care you benefit from it, as everywhere it is a give and take like anywhere else. Neighbors, keep in mind your apt is attached to others and what you do in your can involve others... like slamming the door can lead to others knowing your where abouts and things take place when people learn you. Went to visit the property today after Dangua personally called me to discuss rentals they had available. I was concerned about the proximity of the apartments to the highway, but loved them once I was inside the model. The entire office staff treated me professionally, and Dangua even took the time to answer questions I had after I left the property. read more
