So good. My daughter and son in law had pizzas, and hubby and I decided on the Lamb Shanks. OMG, fall off the bone! And the mash potatoes were sublime. The wine was lovely and reasonably priced. I had a Tempranillo and hubby had a Shiraz. Onto the desserts! The Tiramisu was like silk and the Chocolate Cake with Grenache was decadent. We asked for it to be warmed with a side of vanilla ice cream! Alex was so accommodating. He was delightful. If we could stay in Doolin longer, we would go back. This was my favorite restaurant because of the AMAZING seafood. The raw oysters were super fresh and it was fun getting to see the manager show us how to shuck oysters (he used to compete in oyster shucking contest and was ranked pretty high!). The steamed mussels and crab claws were also delicious. Ending the meal with cheesecake was great! The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel like you are visiting a friend's home for a nice meal. Great atmosphere with beautiful views of the ocean. Great kids menu! We had the seafood chowder which was creamy, hearty and delicious and then tagliatelle pasta which was just fantastic. She suggested the homemade banoffee pie nut we just couldn't manage. The portions are quite large and can be shared. We enjoyed it so much, we came back the next night and I actually had the pie as my meal - wonderful!
