SARAH KLINE IS GREAT!!!!! I've been to probably 10 other salons since I've lived/moved to Modesto. I will admit that its been hard to find someone who works with you to get EXACTLY the look you are gong after... I'm a guy...and I realize that the male gender does not make up the "typical" clientele for most folks who work at a salon, so dealing with our hair isn't necessarily the norm! We want it short... and if there is a mistake there isn't much left to correct it! With that being said...Sarah has nailed it from day one! I showed her what I wanted...she spent about 10 minutes analyzing my hair...my part...my natural curl/wave and cut that I wanted and then informed me how long it would take to get things where I wanted them. For me...it was about 4 cuts which equated to 8 weeks. I can honestly say for the first time in a LONG time, I really love my hair! The salon has a GREAT atmosphere! Its spa like! And while I feel her price is a bit high for a guys cut...I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS! You get what you pay for....other than your physician, the next most important person is your stylist! read more

Alec is a a Magic Man. In fact, I'm currently sitting in his chair writing this review! Trevena is AMAZING!! I can't express in words how talent this women is. I went from a dark red to a lighter sun kissed red. Turned out way better than I ever imagined! I was nervous about applying bleach to my hair but Trevena was so knowledgeable and experienced to know when enough was enough to avoid damage. You wouldn't believe I had bleach applied to my hair. For starters, cutest little salon ever! They have a cute boutique located over in the corner, and foxes located all over the salon. Staff is extremely sweet and welcoming. I've know Alec, my stylist, for quite a while know and he is absolutely perfect. Always listens to my needs (considering I'm so picky), and willing to accommodate. I moved here from the Bay Area and I've been to 4 hairdressers trying to find someone talented enough to pull off a short haircut, add texture and do a feminine style, finally I found her. I met Trish through my mom, she was her hair stylist for years. I had very damaged hair from "boxed dye" and didn't think I would ever get the color I wanted. I think when someone does an exceptional job, especially in the service industry, people should know. First off, this is the first time I have ever called a hair salon and was asked, "When can you get here? Being a physician makes it difficult for me to work the simple pleasures into my life such as getting your hair cut, so when someone makes it easy, I am impressed. Secondly, if getting someone to see me within 45 minutes from the time I called wasn't impressive enough, the final results from making that appointment is the icing on the cake. I was expecting to have good serves because it was a top salon in the area. Boy was i wrong the lady fried my hair. I met her when I had long naturally black hair when all I wanted was a conservative trim. I wanted more volume to my hair and we achieved it with tape-in extensions with beautiful results. She also took care of my hair during my break-up transformation where she took me from waist-long black hair to a gorgeous platinum blonde A-line bob.
