We arrived right at opening time, 8:00 am, on Sunday. Very friendly staff. We picked an open table. Hot drinks (coffee and tea) were brought firstly. We ordered pancakes and waffles. The maple syrup was on the table. The food was delicious. Seconds were also brought to us. As we prepared the leave, we picked some store items, freshly baked cookies, a quart of maple syrup, granulated maple sugar, and maple tea bags.

A little taste of heaven on a snowy Sunday morning

Indoor and outdoor tables, eclectic and charming decor and most importantly good food. There are lots of Lebanese touches on the menu. I ordered a Labneh plate with pita and Kalamata olives. The Lebanese yogurt was rich and creamy combined with olive oil. My niece had a classic NY bagel with Lox. The capers and scallions were a nice touch. We were sitting outside near a tree that was growing through the deck with a hole surrounding it. I went to put my purse on the back of my chair and it fell in the hole!! About 3 ft. down. Luckily the charming owner got a younger member of the kitchen staff to crawl below the deck and retrieve my purse. My hero! They really should put some mesh over the opening. After that the owner started talking to us and told us some very interesting stories. We were the only ones there so he had time to chat with us. It was fun! He talked me into trying a lavender, oat milk latte. Their most popular drink. They roast the coffee on site. I took it to go. It was good. The other staff members were also very friendly and accommodating. Overall a great experience and I'm already thinking about the next time I can go to Sharon Springs. *Bonus it's right down the street from The Beekman 1802 store!

The exterior is misleading & easy to pass by if you're not in the know - don't let it fool you! Breakfast is only served on weekends between 8 AM & 1 PM & we just happened to be there. Service was extra warm & welcoming - we had our pup with us & it was a not so great weekend weather wise & while we offered to order & sit outside at a table as to not disrupt other diners, they managed to put us in their back room so no one had to eat out in the cold (Pepper can't write her own review, but she says thank you, two paws up!) While the menu is small, one item is better than the next & you can't go wrong no matter what you choose! Prices are reasonable for everything you get & in today's economy, it's a rare find! The apple pancakes were to die for & honestly, the biggest pancakes I've ever seen! Fresh biscuits with maple butter (YUM!) Don't pass up on the extra creamy & delicious chocolate milk! Seriously - can I get an IV drip of that? This place is the embodiment of farm to table (obviously). Zero frills, but full authenticity of a working farm. Wonderful place & wonderful people. They have lots of their goods for sale too, so you can take Buck Hill Farm home with you! We bought their delicious bourbon maple syrup, fresh herbal tea, hot sauce, & took some ribs back to the house to grill for Father's Day! Plenty of full & happy bellies even after leaving the farm. After breakfast, swing by the chicken coop & thank the ladies for the delicious eggs! LOL We hope to visit again next time we are in the area!

The company produces beauty and skincare items made from goat milk. The couple owns and operates a 100 goat farm in Sharon Springs and sources goat milk from other US farms to produce the full product line. Their retail store here is beautifully designed and well stocked. I was completely unfamiliar with this brand but it apparently has quite a following. I tried their goat milk lip balm which is fine but IMO not the best lip balm I've ever used. Service here was friendly and kind. Would definitely stop in again and maybe try their soaps.

This year we were in town for my son's baseball tournament and guess what is between Cooperstown and the Albany airport? This place!! I was so happy it was literally on the way to the airport and highly recommend a pit stop here on your way in or out of the Albany airport. This shop is like a NYC shop in the middle of a small town. So trendy, so swanky, so open and airy. I wanted to buy everything but was flying so I selected some face wash items and tried some soaps in the big sink in the back. Hoping to order some hand soap for the house in the near future from the online shop.
