Three months later, I am still waiting for issues to be resolved, with limited to no communication from the company. Multiple doors and drawer fronts were manufactured in the wrong sizes and need replacement. Four additional doors were finished incorrectly. To make matters worse, the hardware holes throughout the project were drilled crooked, causing doors and drawers to be visibly misaligned. The installers were friendly, but friendliness does not make up for poor workmanship, lack of quality control, and inadequate follow-through on warranty and service issues. Had I seen a review describing these kinds of problems before hiring this company, I would have looked elsewhere. In my experience, the biggest issue appears to be the new ownership and the decline in quality and customer service that has followed.

They answered our questions and were very responsive. Their service and communication was great. The floor system looks really nice - we love it and we've gotten a lot of compliments on it. Some perks about this type of flooring: (1) The stairs have a great no-slip texture. (2) It looks much better than a plain epoxy or paint finish and easily as nice as the carpet we had previously. (3) The flake flooring in our basement is much warmer than I expected; certainly warmer than the ceramic tile we have in the bathroom. (4) It's easy to take care of and the pattern in the flake doesn't show dust/dirt easily. (5) We quoted new carpet for other bedrooms in our house and that confirmed the pricing on the flake flooring system is reasonable, especially considering the durability of this flooring vs. carpet. I cannot say enough great things about Bay Area Granite and Marble in Appleton. We had a different…read morestore (Surface Creations) install new Quartz countertops in our kitchen. It was a terrible install they took the gloss out of an area when trying to remove a seam chip. We came to BAGM with the intent of replacing the damaged counter. When the BAGM person came out to measure the counter he said we didn't need to replace the counter they could repair the area good as new (something Surface Creations said there was no way to repair, so get over it). Low and behold in less than one hour BAGM's Service Rep repaired the defect, good as new! We cannot say enough good things about BAGM. We wanted to use BAGM right from the start but they didn't do backsplashes, and contractors were hard to find so we went with a store that could do it all. Lucky for us the backsplash person did a great job. We highly recommend you consider Bay Area Granite and Marble for your stone countertops. They are good people and very well qualified.

From the initial walk through to the final touch ups, this company did an outstanding job. Let me give you a quick overview of how easy it was to work with these contractors. First, the initial sales person, Michael, was incredibly knowledgeable and able to see the vision we had for the first floor. He took a good number of photos and then met with other project managers at their office. From here, we met with an amazing designer, Halley. She answered every question I had and promised me she would guide me along the way. I had some ideas, and everything I forgot, she gently guided to a solution. I was able to pick everything from the exact sink and faucet, to backsplash and flooring. The amazing communication continued throughout the project using an app called buildertrend. We knew when the contractors were arriving for each step of the process. We were also able to ask questions through the app and received quick responses. I did have a couple of change orders, and even those were handled seamlessly. My project has been done now for about three months, and every day I love seeing the finished project.

I contacted the owner and he said he would drop me off some sealer so I could reseal it myself (which didn't happen). The owner is quite a snaky salesman and will tell you whatever you want to hear and when there is a problem will tell you it is common for the problems to happen and eventually not even answer or return your phone calls.
