His report was easy to read and understand, detailed, full of photographs and citations. He was friendly and easy to talk to in person, and he offered a small discount when he was running late for the inspection appointment due to trouble with a rented vehicle. Cons: I was promised the report in no more than 48 hours, but did not receive it until roughly 70 hours later after being given a great deal of excuses and runaround when asking for it by phone and email. The report wasn't uploaded to the HomeGague tool until that ~70 hour mark despite implications that it was available and had been sent an unknown number of hours earlier, nor was a pdf of it emailed to myself, my agent, or my purchasing partner before that time. Overall, he seems like he is knowledgeable and ispersonable, however his admin and follow up leaves a great deal to be desired. This is a one-man company with no front office or staff besides himself. Use at your own risk if there is a hard drop dead time by which the report is needed.

He got us scheduled quickly so that we wouldn't miss our deadline, and arrived early (which is on-time, in my book!). The inspection itself was terrific. Eric took us through every aspect of the house, from the HVAC system to the plumbing fixtures to the attic. Not only did he go over everything with a fine-toothed comb, he also took the time to explain what he saw and what he was doing. He never seemed remotely rushed and I have no doubt he would have stayed for several more hours if we'd had more questions. He also provided a bunch of great maintenance tips for us, which should prove extremely useful once we've moved in.
