My esthetician was knowledgeable, made good recommendations and didn't push any product on me - although I liked what she used so I bought one of the products she used. If you make your next appointment before you leave you get 20% off, so yep, that is what I did. I will be returning next month for another facial. Friendly staff and a lovely spa experience. Their "waiting area" is very serene -- a dimly lit room with cozy chairs and a fountain in the middle. Their pedicure area is bright and clean, with big comfortable leather spa chairs. Staff (Luz) did a great job on my "express pedicure"; she was helpful in picking the right color for my toes, and regaled me with stories during the pedicure. The checkout process was easy. My afternoon could not have been better. I was given a gift certificate to Stonebriar Spa as a gift and I finally got to use it. I started with a 1 hour massage that was quite possibly the best massage I've ever had. The table was so comfortable and warm. The masseuse was attentive and amazing. I had a short break that I spent in the lovely relaxation room. The water feature in the center of the room is so pretty and relaxing. Very comfortable chairs and I just sat and relaxed waiting for my facial. Again the bed was comfortable and my skin feels amazing. She took the time to talk about my skin and concerns and didn't even try to sell me anything. This was a great experience and I hope to go back soon! read more

My husband gifted me a massage and pedicure for mother's day. I had been looking forward to it since mother's day, and finally went inn for my appointment this morning. Jennifer did my massage and it was amazing. Then I went to get my pedicure. It was the most expensive disappointment I had ever experienced at a spa. I kept thinking the massage was coming next, but it never did. It wasn't until she started painting my toes that I realized the massage wasn't coming. When I asked her about it, she said, "I already did it". No offer to do it better or anything. It's a shame, because it's overall nice spa... My husband experienced the worst massage. He advised that essentially his massage ways just rubbing oil on him as if it was placing lotion on his body. He receives massages on a monthly basis from a professional therapist in our home and this experience was by far the worst he's ever experienced. Very disappointing experience. The "massage therapist" if I dare give her that name was terrible. I have had 100's of massages and this is the second to worst I have ever had. Awkward, tentative, slow, uneasy and a newbie. Not what you should be getting at this type of spa and the money paid. Manager was receptive to my complaint and took off some money but never really had empathy. No champaign. White wine only and it was terrible. So disappointed. The women's locker room has computerized lockers so you don't have to carry a key around with you during treatments. They have showers and restrooms too, of course. The waiting area is very tranquil with a gorgeous rock fountain. They offer bottled water, iced tea, hot teas, fruit, and cookies. This is the first spa I've ever been to that also offers complimentary wine. Wow! I had a wonderful Swedish massage with Vicki! She was very attentive to the pressure I wanted. My one complaint from this visit is that the locker room smelled slightly musty, like gym socks. I sprintzed some air freshner but it didn't help much. I wished they also had more amentities, like a steam room and whirlpool but I know this is a day spa. I would definitely come back again! read more

My Frisco located sister and I loved our visit to this spa! We went on a Cowboy football Sunday and it was quiet. We each had a 90 minute massage, pure heaven. Ask for Jeri, she's only been an expert massage therapist for 30 years!! WOW! Sherilyn my sister's massage therapist put us in a peaceful recovery room after our massages, good thing, I needed to get my senses back after my trip to nirvana. We were given chocolate chip cookies! More water! and yes wine is an option. My sister said it was great wine, she's actually a wine expert. Went here for an eyebrow wax based of the reviews here on Yelp and was very disappointed. The process was relatively painless which was a plus, but I did not realize till I got back home to Lewisville that neither eyebrow matched the other. I had to tweeze them myself to get them even. I even told the lady that I needed them shaped and cleaned up, but I guess maybe that didn't get through to her. Maybe I just had a bad waxing lady or something. So my hubby got me a gift card to this place four years ago n I have been going ever since. The check-in staff isn't really nice kinda bossy but everyone else in the back r super nice. U get to change in a cute locker room. U get a locker to put all your gear. They supply a bath robe n yummy cucumber water with some snacks. Nothing fancy. U sit in the relaxing room til your tech comes to get u. The facials r awesome n so relaxing. I have been to a couple of different people n they r all good. I had a massage here once n it was ok. The girl wasn't real good n talked a lot. Not so much relaxing but more tense. Stick to another massage place. I have had a pedi/medi n the girls in the salon r awesome n sweet. Pedicure was really nice, beautiful area that nails are done in, music is calming and drank sweet tea while they did an awesome job on my toes. Had a 60 minute facial from Renee. Generally no complaints, it was a nice facial and I specifically requested to keep the redness to a minimum, and she did. I felt clean and refreshed, she got rid of a few blackheads/whiteheads, but generally kept the redness/breakouts to a minimum. My only two complaints were (a) she talked a good amount, which was fine because she's very pleasant and I actually enjoyed talking but I also had wanted to relax, and (b) there was like no massage! My experience usually involves a nice neck and upper back massage, and some decent pressure on the face massage. I love how it relaxes my jawbone and eyebrows, it's my favorite part, and I got none! The whole reason I sprung for the longer facial (60 mins instead of 45) was because there should've been more massage. Oh well. Otherwise everything was great, they were very accommodating rescheduling me due to a bit of a last minute emergency, the spa itself was very clean and had a great ambiance, I liked the products they used and everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. Long story short, I'd go back, but I'd be more vocal about my desire for a massage. read more

Do not go for a mani/pedi....but, the massage and facial were nice. I recently went for a full day of pampering, thanks to my husband! He booked me for a massage, facial, and mani/pedi.... I am a lucky girl!! I was so excited and very pleased with the pampering. Things started off great with a wonderful massage and then a nice facial. But, the mani/pedi needed some help. I don't know which service my husband booked, but I didn't find value in it. After reviewing the packages on their website, I don't see any offering that would be worth the cost, based off my experience (I get better service at many of my nearby salons). The worst part, which is the backbone of every offering, was the polish work. I am not trying to be mean or sarcastic when I say I could have done a better job polishing them myself. The most disappointing thing.... Every time I look at my nails, it makes me frustrated, which is not the feeling you want after such an otherwise good day (and heart felt gift). I also found it very odd that she tried to get me to pick a different color, after I chose one I liked. She preferred another brand, so offered me two different color options, that were very different. I'm sure she had the best intentions, but I found it odd. My nail tech was very sweet and unaware of any issues (and seemingly proud of her work). So, I didn't see any point in bringing it up, as I didn't see that anything could change. All in all, I'm bummed that the day took a turn in the wrong direction, but I am pleased with the way it started. read more

Today I was lucky enough to enjoy a Massage with Jennifer and a Deluxe Mani/Pedi with Olivia! The massage was amazing, and Jennifer was very attentive and listened to my requests as far as pressure and room temperature. Also, she didn't talk too much, which is a huge pet peeve of mine during a massage! Same with Olivia...after my relaxing massage I barely had the energy to pick out my colors and she just let me zone out and enjoy the experience. I've already booked my next massage, but I think I will stick to my regular place for Mani/Pedis. The prices are just a little too high. However, Olivia did the best paint job I've ever received so if you're willing to shell out the money, its definitely worth it. I took away one star for the pedicure chairs. They aren't adjustable and you can't recline at all. They aren't uncomfortable, but after you get used to the massage chairs that so many salons have now its hard to go back! read more

First experience getting a massage here and overall I am satisfied. I had a gift certificate and decided to use it today. I checked in and got settled in the relaxation area. The lady from the front desk came by and let me know that typically they don't honor the gift certificates on holidays(it's Presidents' Day) but they would this time. It was greatly appreciated. My massage was fantastic. Kristen was great, she explained everything she was going to do and made sure I was always comfortable. I booked a spa for 2 for my wife and mother in law for Mother's Day. I booked it a week and advance and got a call to confirm. So my favorite ladies arrive and they only have one massage booked. Come to find out that the rep who confirmed didn't not process the reservation correctly. They got pedicures but we're offering a one a facial and one a massage, at a much later time that what I booked for as compensation for the error. The effort they put in to trying to correct the issue was minimal, and that is being generous. I called around to other massage places and they were trying to mountains to accomodate them and to make the day great. I was disappointed with the end result and took our business elsewhere. read more

I have been a client of Stonebriar Spa for 7 years. The Spa is really pretty. I love the relaxation room which is round and goes up to the ceiling in rock. Right in the middle is a fountain. The spa is decorated in all natural stones and wood. The front desk crew are always friendly and not snooty like a lot of spas front of the house are. The spa has high end robes and a nice locker room that has a steam room and showers. I go get a massage once a month with Jennifer. She is very knowledgable and professional. She, like all of the massage therapists there have all had a lot of training and experience. She has been with the spa for over 10 years. It is nice when you find a good therapist to know that they will not be moving on. Like all good therapists I she gets booked up fast so I have to prebook my appointments with her in advance. Frisco is lucky to have a spa of this caliber right in the Stonebriar neighborhood. The spa is large enough to have group parties. I had a Lunch Bunch there with 7 of my friends. We had massages and facials and ate lunch between. Everyone enjoyed their services and most all have been back for more. The spa has a warm, friendly air and the employees bend over backwards to make their clients happy. Checking them out is a win win situation. I highly recommend trying them out. I think you will find a home away from home and a spa you can enjoy for years to come. read more

First and foremost, the staff was very friendly and the environment was nice. I received a 60 minute massage with scalp treatment, a 60 minute facial with hand treatment, and a pedicure with aromatherapy treatment. The massage was not up to par and the scalp treatment was odd. The metal tool you see at Brookstone and Sharper Image was used, which I thought was very odd. After the massage, instead of staying in the room, I was guided to a "relaxation area" which is a communal area. I do not find this relaxing. I think that it broke up the relaxation since people are talking and I'm a private person so felt odd sitting in a robe in a public place. The facial was good except she used the Sonicare system, which is a great system, but not something I'd expect to be used at a relaxing facial. The hand treatment was lotion on my hands put into the heater gloves. Nothing you wouldn't get at a run of the mill nail place. After my facial, I was then led again to the "relaxation area" where I was forgotten about. I had to ask the staff what was going on before I started my pedicure. The pedicure was again, run of the mill. Nothing special. The technician was nice but wouldn't stop talking to me. Yes, I could have asked her to stop talking but that makes for a very awkward pedicure. So my relaxing spa day turned into something I could have gotten by visiting a massage parlor, buying the Sonicare system and using it in my home, and going to the nail place next to WalMart for a pedicure. I would have saved a TON of money too since this package was almost $300. But, here's the kicker, I left a review similar to this on the spa website but more in depth and was contacted by the owner. She first left a phone message which I returned but got her voice mail. She then left me a nasty email. In the email she tells me I threatened my unborn child's life although I told every therapist I was 5 weeks pregnant and also annotated it on my initial form. She has yet to respond to my response email. I thought leaving feedback on the spa's personal site was what the owner would want since it's an option. I guess the owner only accepts positive feedback so be leery of not giving them 5 stars. read more

I have been here about 8 times. The facility is really nice and Caroline gives a wonderful facial (which is the only reason I return). The problem is the front desk people. They treat you as if they are doing you a favor by taking your money or setting up an appointment. No smiles....just rude zombies. I purchased a series of facials and every time (6) I checked out I was told I needed to pay more money. Each time I had to explain that I was charged correctly and to look further. They find their mistake with no apologies. You get the same rude treatment at their "boutique" next door. THE ONLY REASON I RETURN is Caroline. If you don't mind a cold check in and check out (which it does not bother some) but want a good facial I recommend it. If you are looking for a welcome environment you will likely be disappointed. read more

I received a gift certificate from my husband for an hour massage. As soon as I walked in I was very welcomed from the front desk staff. I then changed into a robe and waited in a relaxation area with a gorgeous fountain. I was already in heaven. My massage therapist, Shereen came and got me and again she was very welcoming and very sweet. I explained to her my goals of what I expected and liked and she was AMAZING! She hit all the right spots with the perfect amount of pressure. I would highly recommend her. After the massage I was taken to a room in the back that was very private. Jessica was the sweet young lady that did my facial and I can't say enough about the service she provided. I wish I could give another 5 star rating every time I go! This spa is unlike any other. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Once you change into your robe, you are taken to a relaxation room. There you sip your water or tea, and either sit or recline while you wait for your services. Every time I've been there, people are very respectful and quiet in this area, so it really gets you feeling nice and peaceful. Then their services. WOW. The facials are wonderful, their nail services are great, but their massages are truly outstanding! The first time I went, I got a hot and cold massage, which did wonders on my back.
