The staff was friendly, gave me an estimate on the amount insurance would cover and as it turned out, they called me two days later and told me I would be getting a refund because my insurance covered more than expected.

I fully expected to walk out of this office about $450 poorer. But Dr. Magness thoroughly investigated the suspected problem areas. Compared his 2 dimensional x-ray with my dentist's, then did a 3 dimensional x ray to get an even better look. Luckily for me, no treatment is needed on this tooth nor the one sensitive to heat. He tapped it, and he cooled my tooth. His assessment, no treatment needed. Cost with my insurance $50. I appreciate the honesty and thoroughness of this office. Dr. Magness spent a lot of time with me. I did not feel rushed. His explanations were clear and thorough. I am so glad my regular dentist referred me here. Highly recommended.

It was an emergency root canal and they were able to get me in the very next day. The office is located in Blacklick, on E Broad St between Reynoldsburg New Albany and Waggoner Roads. It's in a small office building, very nice and clean. And Dr Susi has the most soothing voice I've ever heard, which is a really good thing during a root canal. They do charge $50 for the Nitros gas which is not covered by insurance, but it is so worth it, at least it is to me. I've had root canals before and they too have charged the $50 for the Nitros so I was expecting it. All in all, as far as root canals go, it was a good experience and I really liked the doctor, the staff, the office and the location. Five stars all the way!

The wait was long and the dentist was very quick and not very informative. I did not end up having any treatment done at the time. This brings us to yesterday. I made an evening appointment to address the same problem tooth I had been seen for a year ago. I showed up 30 minutes early hoping to get bumped up a little. They signed me in. Took my insurance and told me to have a seat. Within 10 minutes (20 minutes before my appointment was scheduled to start) a tech came and got me and lead me to the exam room. We had to do a set of 4 "quickie x-rays" since it had been over a year since I had them done. We talked about what I wanted to do which was pull the offending tooth. She told me to wait and the Dr. would be right with me. Within 5 minutes the Dr came in. He poked around taking inventory of my dental disaster. I told him my intention of having the tooth pulled and he agreed it was the best course of action. (No pressure for an expensive dental service just to make money.) The tech added all the issues to my chart and had a nice girl form the front desk come talk to me about pricing for the whole shebang. She was very clear that it did not all need done that and could be done at my choice at later dates. I felt very informed and in control of my medical care and cost of treatment. Within 10 minutes a hygienist came and gave me a topical analgesic. The Dr. came in 5 minutes later to give me the shots (which I didn't feel at all.) After 10 minutes of numbing, he got to work and in about 10 more minutes the offending tooth was out. I felt NO pain! Just a little pressure. It was such a relief. From beginning to end, the entire process took just over 1 hour. Can't beat that! I will continue to seek dental care from this location until my mouth is healthy again. **I do very much recommend making an appointment during the week whenever possible. As with most urgent/emergency facilities, it gets VERY busy and the wait can be very long.**
