This is a review from a person who is not the patient, but I feel that it gives a good idea to put family members at ease about their loved one that's undergoing surgery. I brought my friend for her day surgery. The lobby was comfortable for guest. They had a Keurig with coffee and tea. I appreciated this since I hadn't had my morning tea. They had a sign which I figured someone who's having surgery should know. It said patients shouldn't drink the coffee or tea because you have to be fasting for surgery. Since her surgery would take about four hours with recovery. It seemed like the majority of people who dropped off a patient left. The front desk told me that I would be called when my friend was in recovery. And when I could come to recovery to be with her. I was really surprised and grateful that , Barnett called me to give me the status. He also gave me post-surgical directions for her which was good because after the surgery she was really groggy and didn't remember what she was told. I was able to go in recovery and see her. The nurse was very kind. She explained the discharge paperwork with instructions since I knew my friend wouldn't remember this, I asked the nurse if I could videotape so my friend would remember after the anesthesia wore off. After checking with her nurse Director, She said I couldn't record her, but I could record her voice . she was helpful because she put the phone near her and put the phone with video side down, but the important thing was hearing the instructions so I didn't mind. Very good place as everyone puts you at ease , my friend was discharged and there is a circular driveway where I could pick her up. Of course she came out in a wheelchair, which is the standard practice when a patient is discharged. It appears to be a surgical center where patients would feel safe and family members would be informed. read more

I've been here four times now. The team from the front door to discharge are incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They truly love what they are doing, enjoy helping, and do everything to make your time as stress free as possible. My care has been nothing short of perfect. I really can find nothing to say negative about a place that is poking me with needles and knocking me out. Oh wait, Better snacks. They should provide a warm face towel as you wake up along with a Margarita and a Macaron. Seriously, like these folks are the absolute best. read more

I don't know if it is the coordination with ARC or this place itself. But the whole process was rough. They just give you a date they may schedule and will let you know 48hrs in advance A. When the procedure may be B. What the pre-op directions are C. Estimates of cost. Then I got disconnected numbers for the anesthesia office to get cost estimates. Then never got a call with pre-op directions. I called, emailed and text them the weeks prior. It was just a rough process. And I've had a lot of surgeries and medical procedures. This one was just terrible to schedule or get info about. Day of, the staff are nice. It was just a colonoscopy. Standard. The facility is lackluster. But it worked. read more

Horrible experience. Woke up in THE MOST PAIN I have ever been postop (and this is one of the most minor surgeries I've had). I also work in the medical field, and they gave me no credit for that. Administering drugs without telling me what they were. I would ask, what are you giving me? "Oh just something to calm you down". I am a medical professional... Tell me the name of the drug and the dose! Had an awful reaction to the anesthesia. (I usually tolerate anesthesia meds VERY well) When I called to get my records so I could find out what drug I reacted so badly to, they insisted on charging me for my own medical records. This, in addition to another sneaky charge, deserves 0 stars. Very shady surgery center. Look elsewhere. read more

I first came here in December 2025 when my husband had surgery on his arm. It's now January 2026. My mom has a colonoscopy scheduled this morning. Her nurse provided amazing care with patience and compassion. They usually have about 10-12 patients that they are prepping at one time with multiple surgeons practicing here. I just witnessed a patient having a seizure in the pre-op area. The doctor responsible for the patient realized what was happening and calmly called for her team to assist in stabilizing the patient. They all rushed to her aid and communicated beautifully throughout the entire emergency. They worked together to provide their teammate with support, medical equipment needed to assist in the breathing stabilization of the patient. They all stayed with the nurse and patient until she came out of the seizure. They explained to her what happened. The patient asked for her husband/boyfriend/friend multiple times but they made sure she was first stable before they allowed him back. When he arrived back here, they explained in detail what happened and how they responded. They made sure he understood what happened. If I had any reservations about this place, witnessing this, eliminated them. I feel the nurses provide an authentic human experience while maintaining professionalism and level heads during emergencies. Great job to the pre-op team! read more

No reflection on my surgeon who simply did the procedure here and is fantastic. Also the pre op nurse was lovey. other than that, they ruined my belongings by putting a broken gel ice pack in my clothing bag without telling me. no discharge instructions, no records of what happened during surgery and no follow up phone call. they also did not return my phone call and voice messages. Lots of pain, which I know was unnecessary because I have had this procedure before. Overall awful experience and I'm still recovering from the stress of it. read more

Be cautious! Stonegate Surgery refuses to show me the paperwork they want me to sign just before going in for the procedure! They would rather not do the procedure than show me the paperwork beforehand. That should tell us all something. read more

They make an appointment and tell you to arrive early then you just wait for an hour in the dirty lobby. The staff do not care about you once they have your insurance information & know they are getting paid. I am really disappointed with this whole process & disappointed with Austin Regional Facility for even participating with this Surgical Center. read more

The surgical process was great. The staff was wonderful and the facility was nice. Beware of the billing department. They held us up for our full YEARLY deductible the morning of the surgery, after my wife was prepped. Then they botched every attempt at submitting the paperwork to our insurance company and all of their own appeals. Don't pay them anything until your own insurance company says OK. read more

I tore my medial meniscus and it took a while to get an appointment with other orthopedic doctors in my network, but once I called Dr. Kilbrides office they scheduled me for surgery within a week. Stonegate is where I had my operation and it is a wonderful place. They treated me well and made sure I felt safe and comfortable to go under anesthesia. To the anesthesiologist, and nurses Jamie and Tina I owe them a great deal of gratitude. To Dr. Kilbride he did an amazing job on my last surgery, which is why I made sure to go to him again, he saved me from a worrisome life and made what I felt were giant problems very easy to deal with. I trust him with my life any time, he's the best surgeon around. To the wonderful ladies who I spoke on the phone with Tyanna and Crystal, who helped me understand the whole financial and surgical process and did not once grow impatient of me, thank you greatly. These types of surgical centers are poorly regulated by the state of Texas. because I went here, I spent the next 16 days in the hospital because I contracted staph in there operating room. Then I spent many months on an IV three time a week and six more months on pill therapy and many months on physical therapy. your health insurance will pay for you to go to a real hospital. read more

As someone with a healthcare profession, I was very pleased with my whole experience with Dr. Paul Le's office. He's a laid-back, younger doctor who seems very knowledgeable, and experienced when it comes treating pain. Getting an appointment was easy, scheduling my procedure was easy, and the bedside manner of every person I came in contact with was excellent. Though they were running a little behind I didn't wait too long. When it was go time all aspects of the procedure room ran like a finely tuned machine. The waiting area at the surgical center is decorated in a contemporary medical office fashion, and clean. Front office staff was pleasant and efficient. I have to say the most nicest nurses ever and clean with 2 television to watch , I went over there to get my injections and trigger point shot never in the history of all the shots I have gotten . Has it ever gone so smooth , I was in so much and first saw Dr. Wills and then I tried a different doc boy was he different he showed me the difference so I came back to Dr. Wills who is a great doctor . My pain does need a good doctor and that is what he is staff is joy they knew how nervous I was quickly put me at ease , sleep boy what a difference , Pain Management people this is the doctor that can help you I have been to 2 different very different never again I will stay loyal to Dr. Wills. read more

Horrible billing at this ASC. They will get a deposit from you and even if your EOB explains what the patient responsibility should be - the ASC will hold your entire deposit until they are satisfied with the payment of the plan. If they code it wrong or there are issues, they will hold your funds until it is settled. Even after my insurance paid the entire bill $20K, they still did not refund us. So, after my review was published I received a call from my scheduling nurse for my follow on surgery, and she explained that Stonegate issued a retaliation email to them saying that I was rude and that they would not treat me. I truly believe this is retaliation for my review. Futher, I mentioned to them that I am a Disabled Veteran while I was there and how difficult it was for me to get transportation, this appears to mean nothing to them. Lastly, My thought is why would they not simply apologize for what occurred and move on. Instead they had to retaliate against a Disabled Veteran who served his country proudly in war time in Iraq. Shame on Stone Gate Surgery Center! This is my opinion and why I put my life on the line for my country. First personal surgery experience, but I worked in healthcare for over 15 years. Stonegate was outstanding. Front desk was efficient and clear. the entire facility was well lit and welcoming, not cold and unfriendly. Waiting area was comfortable for my spouse - nice! All involved were professional and personable. Prep nurse, anesthesiologist, surgery nurse - all worked together as one very comfortable, proficient team. Dr. Schramm my surgeon does a great job putting you at ease. Two more comments: I remember windows and sunlight in surgery - also nice! And finally, when you sit in prep in some places you overhear staff conversations, about their weekend and boyfriend/girlfriend, pool parties, SXSW, and so on. I heard none of that; they were FOCUSED on the patients. Not to say we didn't joke and have fun, but these guys had their stuff together. I've worked with several healthcare providers and Stonegate is as good as they get - you won't find a better outpatient surgery experience. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Alan Silberburg's for going on 3 years and have been receiving both trigger point and radio frequency treatments at Stonegate Surgery for about 2 years. I have to say one of the reason's I stay with Dr. S. is not only because he is kind, compassionate and listens, but also because the staff at Stonegate are the same. The nurses and anesthesiologists are all very friendly, professional and dare I say fun! Everyone there seems to enjoy being there and even on busy days I have always been treated with a smile and in a personable way. Though I am no longer nervous about these treatments when I was they always put me at ease and made comfortable. The folks in the recovery room are also caring providing a snack and a wheelchair ride to the car. I can't say enough good things about both Dr. S. and his team at Stonegate. read more

For my second-ever surgery (a wrist surgery for some tendinitis correction), I went to Stonegate Surgery Center in Southwest Austin. I was quite happy with the results, and they treated me with respect. They took great care to ensure that the correct hand was being operated on, all the way down to having the surgeon and I both write our initials on that arm. Some may see this as excessive, but I would rather not have superfluous surgery on the wrong hand! The socks they have you wear are quite comfy, and the gown is preheated for your comfort (comes out of a heating cabinet, and is like putting on clothes straight out of the dryer). My memory gets a little hazy after all the questions and such, but I did wake up in recovery and was given a Capri Sun Wild Cherry and some goldfish crackers. Who won't feel good after eating that? It could have only been better if they had given me biscuits and gravy. Note to self: open surgery center that gives out biscuits & gravy in recovery; would be very popular in the south. read more

The nurses were all super nice, making sure I was always comfortable and my husband was included in all aspects of my care. They warmly and courteously answered any of our questions. I needed to have a procedure done and my doctor uses this place. Everything seemed to be going well until after the procedure was over. As soon as it was over and I woke, I told the staff I needed to go to the restroom. They told me "no you don't, it is normal to feel like you do". I kept asking and they brought me a bedpan. Sorry, I won't go in a bedpan with people all around. They also kept saying "no hurry", but were pushing for me to get dressed and leave. By the time I got home, I rushed to the bathroom and had a BM and urinated. Admittedly, the BM was just air and blood, but the pressure release reduced my "need" and my pain. My ride, who was in the waiting room while I was undergoing my procedure, told me while he was sitting there, a nurse and the front desk lady were making fun of the patients and having a "contest" as to who could make the loudest "farting sounds". They also provided me with a "thank you" card that said they would follow up "in 1 business day" and to expect "a post procedure phone call". Well, it has been over a month and I never got the call (and no missed calls on my phone). I will NEVER have another procedure done here. read more

Hard to even talk to the doctor! Does not seem to care! Appointments always booked up for weeks and you can't see or talk the doctor even after a surgery procedure! 4 weeks after a back procedure, my wife's pain is now much worse and in other places in her back. We think that the surgical procedure was done in the wrong place as the point of entry is not the place the pain is at "missed the spot". We even have a photo of her painting out the pain in her back and you can see the point of entry and it does not even look close...BUT, we can't see the doctor as he is all booked up and does not have the time for even a phone call! Pain is worse and we paid a LOT of money. Thousands of dollars! Why am I, the husband writing this? Because my wife is in so much pain and this is wrecking our lives! You can't live with this kind of back pain! We do NOT recommend this place! All they had to do was call us back and make us feel like they care. We have called many times and all they can do over the phone is make an appointment... 3 weeks out!!! read more
