When Rob came out to give a quote, he was very professional and listened to our needs. The quote was competitive, and we decided to go with this company. We live in the Canyon Hills area in north Utah County. After we moved in, we used Stonehenge Fence to supply and install our vinyl fence. At certain times of the year, we can experience strong winds in our neighborhood. We sometimes see neighbors lose fence panels after a particularly significant windstorm. Our fence has never been effected by the wind. We are very pleased that we chose Stonehenge. They provided a superior product and superior installation. Fence looks nice...Until it doesn't.. I had Stonehenge come and install a vinyl fence for me. After one year several sections of the fence started to bow. I contacted the company and they came and tried to get out of replacing it citing that it was my firepit (sitting unused for a couple years) that caused the bow in the fence. I'm not sure how it would make it bow 20 feet away from an unused firepit. They replaced the slats. It happened again and I have been fighting them. I pointed out that I think the sun is reflecting off the neighbor's window during the winter. They told me that would never happen. They refuse to warranty my fence further saying that they've done their due diligence (some lifetime material & labor warranty this is). read more

I didn't need a new fence until Stonehenge came to install a new fence for my neighbor. While installing my neighbors fence Stonehenge pulled out the post to my wood fence, which caused my fence to fall on the ground. Stonehenge then offered me a "good deal" on a new fence. I was told I had to act fast because they would not come back if I spent less than $1000. A friend called and paid for half of the new fence. Stonehenge did not offer me a signed contract to protect me and them. They did not call Blue Stakes before they dug on my property. They continued to install a fence with vinyl that looked used, scratched and old. The fence is not level and does not serve the purpose my fence did before... keeping neighbor dogs out of my yard. My neighbors fence is 10x worse. He waited 2 weeks for Stonehenge to review their errors made during install and is charging them an additional $1200 to fix them. I have been waiting 2 weeks for a return call or email. No response yet. After this review was posted, the company came out, corrected all errors and the fence looks great. read more

Today, the install crew showed up at my house - when they said they were going to and got right to work. We had a GREAT experience with Stonehenge Fence & Deck! We finished the fence around our house with gates on both sides of our house. Rob was awesome to work with and walked through everything with us along with the different options and what to expect along with what we needed to do. The crew did great work, we friendly & professional and we are super happy with the outcome. We had another vinyl fence for a portion of our yard that was already in place before we moved in and we can tell that the work Stonehenge did is a higher quality, both of materials and how it was installed. After everything was completed, Rob came out again to make sure everything turned out well and explained how to adjust the gates in the event they start to sag slightly over time. I had a great experience with this fence company. I had two different companies give estimates --these people were the most professional by far. Also, I kept changing my mind and Lance was able to patiently send a revised estimate. He also helped me figure out what would be best for the property, in terms of preserving our view, gate placements, etc. I went with a 6' aluma-guard (looks like wrought iron) with 3 inch posts. I also finished my neighbor's fence to complete the coverage of my yard. Now I can keep the deer out of my garden, and my dogs in the yard. The deer and the dogs may not like it--but I LOVE it! They were able to get me on the schedule quickly because I began the process before spring--and the project was completed on budget. Thank you Stonehenge Fence! We called Stonehenge to replace one side of our fence that had blown over with the wind. We had some unique elevation issues which they were willing to work around. They did a great job on the fence and we have already received compliments from the neighbors. Stonehenge gave us a fair bid (theirs was not the lowest), and the materials and finished look of the fence made it worth paying a little more. They do not try to tack on surprises and they did a good clean up of the job site. We will definitely call on them again when we replace our (very ugly) front fence next year. JN read more

1. Paid the deposit. 2. They installed ornamental iron fence three times- first time fence posts backward, second time fence posts too low, third time correctly. 3. They did multiple things that voided the manufacturer's warranty- not priming and painting where they cut the steel. Thank goodness I looked up the install instructions online or I wouldn't have known. They also took a can of Rustoleum spray paint to touch up posts and gates that resulted in splotch marks and different paint sheens. They tried to deny it, but then admitted their workers had done it and shouldn't have. 4. They then installed all the rings to the front of the fence and when questioned they claimed it's "homeowner preference" and "industry standard" to have them bolted to the front. I told them I had called the fence manufacturer, Ameristar, who told me that was false. Also, as the homeowner I did not prefer the rings on the front (the wrong way). Their response- "too bad, we aren't fixing it." They agreed to haul away the fence and refund all of our money. 5. They cut the fence out today leaving cement and steel posts deeply embedded in my grass. They refused to finish hauling it all away. Earlier in the process they also dumped their cement in our flower beds and left drinks and trash in our yard. 6. Not worth the headache and babysitting they require. read more

I have had a horrible experience with Stonehenge Fence. They took a deposit of more than half of the estimate and couldn't give me a date two weeks later. Three weeks after, the salesman will not reply to my calls. Four weeks later, still no date. Still no return calls. I asked for my deposit back and was assured the check was in the mail. Five days after that, no check. They lack basic customer service skills. read more

Recently had a Stonehenge fence put in my yard and can't say enough good things about them. The fence is great quality and it looks great at the same time. They were really easy to work with and worked around my schedule as I was not ready to put in the fence right away but was still able to get it done quickly when I needed or wanted it done. The install was very easy and the crew was great to work with. Any fence company could have done the install, however I am really glad I chose to go with Stonehenge Fence. We've had quite the experience with Stonehenge Fence and as a result of that experience, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM to someone else. The bidding process with Justin was great. He communicated well and the office staff was friendly. However, the installation did not go well. During the installation of our fence posts, the installation guys had girls come over and they hung out for a few hours. Coming for lunch and leaving would be understandable but they stayed. They even let the girls rid around the equipment used to put in the posts. The girls that came smoked on our neighbors (we were doing the fence together) property and left cigarette buts on the ground along with some trash from their lunch. They also did around $500 worth of damage to my neighbors sprinkler system during the digging of the posts. I then had to call Stonehenge to find out when they were coming back to install the rest of the fence instead of them contacting me. All we got from the installation manager Steve was a "sorry that happened" and "thank you for bringing this to our attention." When they came back and installed the fence, it did look nice. However, during the installation of the rest of the fence, one of the guys stood on our planter box in the backyard and broke a part of it from standing on it. The guy didn't even tell us about it. I had to find it later. I took a picture of it and texted it to Steve (at the office's direction) and he told me his guys would come back and take measurements about trying to fix it. That was supposed to have taken place on Friday morning (5/12/17) and it is now Monday 5/15/17 and I haven't heard from them again. That shows how much they care about the customer. Also, they initially built the double swing gate wrong so they had to come back 2 days later to put it in. All in all, the fence looks nice and of good quality. The bidding process with Justin went well. However, based on our installation experience, and the need for me to reach out to them about scheduling and following up on my issues instead of them reaching out to me, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND them to someone else. I just hope we don't have to do any warranty work. Updated 5/15 @7:25 pm: The installation manager did go to Home depot and bought the needed part to try and fix the planter box but they didn't seem to make our exact box anymore. I began my search for a reputable fence company in May, 2017, by contacting cedar fence companies in Utah County and even into the Salt Lake County. In all I contacted about ten companies including Stonehenge. At least three of the companies made appointments, but never kept them. The remaining seven companies sent representatives to my home, measured the property for the fence and said, "We'll be in touch." Out of those 7 companies only ONE followed through with actually remaining in touch with me - STONEHENGE. Even after I called several of the other companies for their bids and follow-up information, they all ignored me. I have NO RESPECT for such businesses. On several occasions I contact Rob from Stonehenge to come to my home to discuss my concerns and questions regarding the fence. NEVER did he fail me. He was willing, available, knowledgeable and gave me good counsel. My new cedar fence is now in place thanks to the skills of Fermin, Juan and Pepe. On the day of installation, and since my fence was a custom style, I met with these craftsman explaining exactly what I wanted. When I came home that night, I had EXACTLY what I wanted. They were easy to work with and excellent in their skills. I was also very impressed with the high quality of the lumber. Certainly far superior of that in the box stores. I'm not sure they deserve 1 or 2 stars. I am STILL waiting for a date for the installation of my fence. I gave a deposit 7 weeks ago and as yet have been NOT been able to get them to confirm a definite date. I was initially told they were 3-4 weeks out. The main company refers questions to the salesman who continues to say he is trying to find out. I am feeling that they have no obligation to the customer once they receive the deposit. read more

We contacted Stonehinge Fence and set up a free quote. Lance was the salesman and identified the options, provided the cost estimate in writing via email. The work was done timely. However, we did have a problem with our decorative (custom made) fence, and was resolved. Lance/Stonehinge was willing to provide the necessary insurance information as our fence was damaged due to a wind storm which caused 2 large trees to fall. read more

Stonehenge just finished putting up a fence on our lot. It involved demolishing a previous brick fence, building a cinderblock retaining wall, and putting up vinyl and metal fences, including a gate for the driveway. Lance met with me on-site and we went over what I wanted. His crew worked in the winter, even though there was considerable snow. They were good about calling me regarding rescheduling due to a snow-storm, and the fence got put up in pretty quick time. We had a minor complaint where we wanted portions of the fence built closer to the ground to avoid our dogs from squeezing out, and Lance replaced those sections very quickly, at no additional cost. The metal fence/gate looks very nice and is very sturdy. Would use again if I had to do another fence. read more
