Brioche bun beautiful marriage of mushrooms and Swiss and I think there was a pepper on it I didn't stop an look it was that good!! I also had the peanut butter pie... really good as well. Adorable little eatery with a hard working young staff. The quesadilla's were wonderful but their tuna sandwich was bland. Still, we will be back and hope there are no problems with having utensils and napkins at the table. Table cloths would be an improvement as well. My wife took me here for a Father's Day lunch and it was wonderful! The new owners and their family have done a fantastic job restoring the building and it's the perfect combination of modern yet still has its old world charm. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I got the Cubano panini and it was honestly one of the best I've ever had. My wife and son got the Nathan's chicken sandwich and it was so good we all shared it. The chicken was a huge portion, very juicy on the inside and with light, perfectly seasoned Panko on the outside. It's topped off with lettuce and tomato and a delicious Aioli on a fluffy brioche bun. My youngest got a grilled cheese and it was on nice thick bread toasted to perfection with an ideal blend of cheeses that melted together perfectly. All sandwiches come with chips and let me tell you, even the chips crushed it! We decided to try two of their desserts and they were amazing as well. We got the lemon berry mascarpone cake which was perfectly creamy with a very tender crumb and fruity and great for a summer dessert. My wife said it was one of the best cakes she's ever had. We also got the chocolate mousse cake which was more like a perfectly layered pie...a cookie crust with dark chocolate mousse, then milk chocolate mousse, then white chocolate mousse on top. We arrived one hour before closing. I ordered the chicken sandwich based on a review and my husband ordered the Cuban. The chef came out and said that he didn't have any more chicken prepared for my sandwich but he would be happy to do it, it would just add a little time before it was ready. (It was less than an hour to closing but he acted quite happy to do it!) Both sandwiches were amazing. As someone else mentioned, the chicken breast is incredibly moist! Obsessed with this place! Popped in for an afternoon pick me up and found my new favorite cafe--only a few minutes from my house. The new shop opened 7 months ago in the wake of a pandemic and you wouldn't know they were newbies unless they told you. I got an iced americano and the avocado toast with a sunny side egg on top and it was delightful! I enjoyed talking to Doug as he took care of me and he even ran my food out to my car so that I didn't have to take two trips with my car seat. This place has a wide variety of coffee house drinks which we didn't try and delicious sandwiches which we enjoyed along with the ambiance.
