Really enjoyed the pontoon boat that we rented for the day. It was clean and worked great. Thanks

If I had read the reviews prior to our stay, I would not have booked this hotel. However, we were…read morelooking for a place to crash for the night as we traveled north to get home. The Country Inn & Suites looked like a convenient location. Our room itself was actually kind of nice. The bed was comfortable and it served our purpose for a nights sleep. The staff upon check in and check out were friendly. We found the ceiling in our shower was leaking and the room was a bit humid despite the AC. Even though the hotel was fairly empty, we were given an adjoining room. We could hear everything next door from when the woman was talking on her phone to laughing at whatever was on the TV. The free breakfast was pretty bad, but we had a restful night despite this all.

The desk lady said the only rooms available were a handicap and a king suite. I was disappointed but tired and took the King room at $268. I went to eat then came back to find a refrigerated tractor trailer truck had parked across 8 parking spaces. Don't know why they allowed this but I ended up having to park in a handicap space, of which there were 3 others open all night. Sorry, but I like to see my car from the room. Room: I didn't read the other poster's comments but they're right about the sticky floors. Yes they were. Yuck. Did they mop it with soda? I kept my shoes on until I got into bed. The bathroom floor wasn't any better. The grout was dirty and there was a clump of thread on the floor by the sink. Prior to getting in the tub I noticed some hair (not mine) on the top of the tub ridge. Eww. When I got the hair dryer out there was something sticky on the grip part that looked like makeup? I had to wrap a tissue around it before using it. Yuck again! And the front of it was somewhat melted from the heat. Never saw this before. Were they using it to stay warm or cooking with it?? The posters were right about the awful paint work too. There was still masking tape partially covering the fire sprinkler in the bathroom. At 4:00am I was awakened by a workman's utility pickup truck starting up under my window. Then at 7:15 am the kitchen alarm sounded in the hallway. I didn't know what it was. Called the front desk and she said it was an alarm from the kitchen. Did they burn the toast?? So now I can't get back to sleep (I was going to leave after morning traffic), I decided to get dressed and depart this Inn. Not a great place to stay but I had no choice. Would not stay here again. They need better cleaning people.

We were looking for a hotel to stop for the night on our trip southward. It had been a long day of…read moretraffic snarls and bad weather. The other "big name" hotels in the area had "no room at the inn". The Best Western only had two rooms remaining: a king and a Junior king suite. We took the suite, even though our plan was to be there less than 12 hours. The front desk staff was friendly and quick (we got checked in, got a key and were in our room in less than 10 minutes). The room was not a suite like at the Ritz, but it had a sofa, desk and a quiet, clean, working refrigerator. The room was clean and nothing appeared worn, broken or nasty. The bathroom was a standard room kind of bathroom (toilet and tub behind door with an external sink)-small, but clean and great water pressure in the shower. The towels were not too thin and absorbent (could have had 2 more on hand, but enough for our needs). The room was quiet, although from the hallway you could hear other rooms' noise (hairdryers, conversation). Even though our room overlooked the Highway (I-95), we didn't hear traffic noise. The bed was very comfortable. I slept soundly until the alarm went off in the morning. The a/c worked, wasn't noisy or smelly and didn't wet the wall/carpet. The continental breakfast was no great shakes, but there was fresh coffee, fruit, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, cereal, toast and yogurt. The breakfast area was clean. There were doggie biscuits at the desk, so they are pet friendly. There were rolls of carpeting in the stairwells and boxes stacked in a storage room with a windowed door, so they are making updates and improvements. Overall, a decent place to stay for a night while on the road and less expensive than some of the other places in the immediate area.

Weeds are everywhere. Looks like no one has kept up with the grounds in a long time. Breakfast was minimal, at least coffee was hot. Couldn't even enjoy the coffee because the woman that was supposed to be taking care of the breakfast area was sitting at one of the breakfast tables blaring music from her phone drinking coffee.
