Found this place on yelp! Easy to find and plenty of parking! Very clean and welcoming. Excellent variety of flavors to satisfy one's palate!! Water, beer, wine, liquor, cigarettes, etc. The handsome gentleman behind the counter was pleasantly helpful in assisting me with my selections. This new retail business just opened up a few weeks ago. I stopped by last evening to check it out. I couldn't find the actual street address, but it is located inthe new Stone landing shopping center on Elk Grove Blvd near I-5. It's pretty close to Kinetic Cycles and Carl's Jr in the same center. The shop is quite nice inside. They have a~lot~ of selection of wines and spirits in a cozy-sized space that isn't as overwhelming as Bev & More is. It reminds me of a library of spirits and beverages. This would be a friendlier place to stop in and get your Belgian beer, Italian pinot grigio, or local winery wine for accompanying dinner. They realy do have a lot in stock, but it's not so big a place that you'd get lost in it. read more

This is my fav place to come get drinks, backwoods and swishers! The guys here are amazing, they always check to make sure I get fresh ones. They have better customer service then most retail stores! I've been to this particular store 5 or 6 times usually during the afternoon. I was impressed with the gentleman who I believe is the owner. He was friendly, helpful, even offered my friend a free bag of ice with his purchase. There is a fantastic variety of spirits, not your typical liquor store that's for sure. Refillable Bic lighters fancy cigars, good music good service overall good vibe!!offered to refill at no charge and threw in pink lighter. I must say I was in awe like that doesn't happen these days people just aren't that friendly and generous. If all that wasn't enough a few later we stopped in for a visit it happen to be my friends bday the owner opened up a case of a newer wine handed over wished him a happy birthday. I'm assuming my friend is a regular as he was treated like VIP!!! THEN a couple weeks later we go I'm on a Friday night we rode up on our bikes already had a couple drinks this younger very rude younger guy begun to insult my friend over and over saying things like getbyhe fuck in here or get outta here warning me I might get raped referring to my friend as butch boy and saying he brings young boys gets them drunk takes advantage of them * the younger boy was his grandson from which would come visit go swimming couple weekends month. This went on for 20 min. He was hostile, rude totally out of line and continued his rant even as we were leaving in fron of the female coworker who said nothing and in front of customers coming and going. I asked him to stop I wasn't sure if he was going to attack us . I've never been so embarrassed or humiliated by anyone I'm 52 years old. This is one of those small, suburban liquor shops that just happens to stock some fine rarities. As a rum geek, I was pleased to pick up some Jamaican and Martinique rums that are usually never sold at a BevMo. Their microbrew and Belgian ale selection is also decent. The only catch is that many of the prices are a few bucks higher than what's seen at BevMo and Total Wine. Favorite liquor store in Elk Grove, hands down! The owner/workers are always so welcoming and friendly. Man extra plus for being opened late (11pm) especially for in Elk Grove. They have a HUGE variety of beers, wines, and much more. They have a huge variety of snacks and candies as well. Their beef jerky is DELICIOUS and fresh every time I stop by. I have been visiting Vine and Spirits occasionally for a few months now to find most of my liquor and beer needs. They have an impressive selection of microbrews for an Elk Grove store, and as one of the ONLY liquor stores on this side of town it pains me to write a poor review. But I just had an upsetting experience with Vine and liquor regarding the prices of their 6 packs of beer. The price of many of the 6 packs are already too expensive for my liking. I'd estimate they average $9 per pack. Furthermore many of the packs are not labelled with a price and I feel this leads to potentially dishonest business. I just purchased a 6 pack of Stella Artois that was not labelled with a price. According to cashier the price was $9.99 (had I known I would not have chosen it) but I was charged $11.11 in total. Somehow the math doesn't add up to me. Perhaps I am not aware of some 11% tax on liquor, but I'm very disappointed in the price overall. Update: I'm not sure if the owner just contacted me through messages or if this was just a math-loving-yelp-peruser, but as it turns out, the math DOES add up. What is keeping me from bumping my stars up any higher is the overall costliness. I've always had kind service when I've visited but the cost keeps me from going back unless it's a last resort. I wont be returning after getting out of my car after driving for 3 hour commute, and being accused of being drunk. I stretched when I got out after the above mentioned commute, and 18 total hours driving for the day. When stretching, postural hypotension caused me to get lightheaded and weak. Then, employee proceeded to humiliate me in front of of group of about 5 people as Im leaving still thinking Im drunk. Im completely sober, and drive for living. I cant have a DUI, and have back issues on top of what happened. read more

The selections are great, they didn't just stock their shelves with anything, most of the selections there are at least a decent beverage. The hubby and I stopped by Stonelake Vine & Spirits in Elk Grove a few weeks ago to grab some beer after having dinner at Oz Korean BBQ. It was our first time here and won't be our last. We were actually surprised to find one at all around here being that it's EG but it was a nice surprise so we didn't have to drive down to South Sac or stop by a Rite Aid for his Heineken. Upon walking in, this store does not look like the typical liquor store you'd think of that comes to mind. The layout is very well organized and looks pretty cool. They have a vast selection of beer, wine, and liquor. We walked around longer than anticipated and ended up going home with some Heineken and a few bottles of different beers we've never had before to try. The owner was working the register that night and he was pretty funny, helpful. Will definitely return after dinner at Oz next time. read more

This is a really good looking store and well stocked. True you can find certain items for less elsewhere but I hate driving across town. I remember the first time I walked in the door 4 years ago. I was looking through the wines and immediately was asked if I needed help and what was i looking for. Wish to like Stonelake vine & spirits. However, had been their customer for a week. The first time I came a week ago, the owner( recognized him on the picture) sold the item at a reasonable price. Next day, there was a different employee, who sold the same item for 0.50 cents more. Stopped by today, there was a young guy with a beard, who tried to overcharge me for $ 1.50 more for the same item, so I went to gas station that is next door and purchased it much cheaper. And all of this happened during a week time frame. Very unstable and shady business! One customer less. read more
