I never leave reviews but this apartment complex has been overall disappointing. I've lived here for a while now and each year it gets worse and worse. Maintenance issues are slow to be addressed, the property is not kept clean, and trash management is a constant problem. The biggest issue is the dumpsters. I was recently warned for leaving trash outside a dumpster that was completely full. Management even went through my trash to identify it and then claimed the dumpster wasn't full. However, today I took my trash out and found maintenance workers actively filling the dumpster with furniture, leaving no room for residents' trash. I walked to the other dumpster on the property, and it was full too. It's frustrating to be held responsible for improper trash disposal when there is often nowhere available to put the trash. Instead of blaming residents, management should focus on providing adequate dumpster capacity and keeping up with waste removal. The rules are also extremely restrictive. Residents are barely allowed to have anything on their balconies other than a chair and a plant. It feels less like an apartment community and more like living under constant supervision. Paying rent while being told exactly how to use your own outdoor space is frustrating and takes away from feeling at home. Overall, communication, maintenance, cleanliness, trash management, and resident satisfaction all need major improvement. I would not recommend living here. read more

I rented here for a year and a half. Our apartment was on the ground floor near the volleyball court. We rented here because of the community manager. The amenities are great and the apartment was recently renovated. I have to say though by far the most underrated features of Stoneleigh was that they maintained the exterior well and made sure the basics were covered. And the staff, the community manager in particular were excellent. We decided to rent here because we wanted good people to have to deal with when we needed help. The instinct was spot on. Any time we needed something fixed or had a question about rent we were always treated with respect. We left because we bought a house. I highly recommend living here. read more

If you like an office full of attitude and a we don't care attitude this place is for you. After numerous noise complaints about noises in the middle of the night we're told if you don't like it buy iut your lease. Weve been here 6 months and the long list of items that are STILL not corrected since we moved in is still pretty lengthy. There is dog crap everywhere because nobody else can pick up their own dogs crap. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. read more

I love living here! The clubhouse is neatly styled, the amenities are awesome, and the apartments (inside and out) are spacious and aesthetically pleasing. The best part is the front office staff's community aspect. They're always doing monthly events for the residents and they have the best front office team I've ever seen in the apartment industry. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE They have a huge bug problem and flat out told me there is nothing that can be done because the property sits next to a cow pasture. Maintenance takes their time fixing things. My daughter lived there for 5 years with damaged carpet from the previous renter and always paid her rent on time. She had to break her lease to move, the cost to break the lease was paid so when I went in to pay the pro rated fee from March 1st to March 6th and drop keys off I was informed that they drummed up bogus charges totalling 1200 dollars and now trying to charge her for the carpet damage that was there before she moved in. They are trying to take advantage of my mentally disabled daughter and I have had enough so let's see what her Attorney has to say read more

Not the best location... Stoneleigh Centerton is 3miles down the street from the Benton County Jail and some type of shelter a block in the opposite direction. Pets are welcome... Lots of dog doodoo around the property. I did have to clean the carpets before I moved in my furniture. My feet were black after walking around. What I cleaned did have an animal urine odor. Location, location, location... There are 2 huge trash cans/compactors on the property and they are always overflowing. Try not to rent apartments above (on the west) or in front (east side) of them. It's a mess, stray cats and this creepy eye critter is always by the west side one. For me, it was h**l on earth! Good luck! read more

DO NOT RENT APARTMENT HERE. Here's my reasons: 1) This place is flooded with all kinds of insects/pests. I am a cleanliness freak, my houses have always been spotless, yet there are ants/spiders (including brown recluse) here. I informed the management, and they "claimed to have my apartment treated, but i did not see any results. Management was rude to me all this while about this issue and i was left on my own. Finally, I paid (a good amount of money) do get this done professionally. Guess what! it worked. Could management not have done this? 2) I am a girl and I shed hair. Of course i use hair stopper but yet my tub do get clogged and requires maintenance once a while. For this reason, while moving in, I confirmed what all was covered under "free maintenance". The girl at the office assured me stating" don't worry, i am a girl i understand" and yes this is covered. So i called them the first time, they did clean it. But second time they left a note that it's the hair causing the issue. (Of course I know that :-/) And kind of hinted they they will not be taking care of this anymore! Huh!! no surprise there. i did not go and talk to them about it, coz I felt humiliated and ignored over the first issue. So now I pay (again an extra amount obviously) to have this taken care of. Summary: Rent is good, but the extra money you put in, due to poor management, is not worth it! I am waiting for my lease to end, and move out to a different community. Hope this helps! read more

Being a disabled citizen who took over two years to finally get disability , my credit was ruined and I told the manager Jamie upfront my story and what happened . He said he needed to run a background check . Called me same day and said my credit was bad which I already told him in his office . Said Linsey links of bentonville stated I broke my lease . I lived there 8 years until I was disabled and even had an Atty send them a letter . Linsey doesn't care about me becoming disabled and the stoneleigh apartments here in Centerton are same way . It's like they think you are trash because of a injury out of your control . This should be considered discrimination FYI I made all payments too the links for 8 years perfect record and when I became disabled and gave them a 30 notice and paid my rent : they tried to charge me 1400.00 stating I broke my lease . So even when you do the right thing , you still get screwed read more

I have lived here for 2 1/2 years. I really like it! When I moved into the apartment, it was freshly painted and had new carpet. I have not had any problems with pests and/or bugs. They come and spray my apartment on a set schedule and I always receive a notice via email or paper note on the door. I have had a few maintenance requests and they were taken care of very quickly. If the issue couldn't be resolved quickly I was either called or emailed by management. I did have an issue with a neighbors dog barking and had to complain. The management took care of by speaking with the owner of the dog and I haven't had anymore problems. The facility overall is clean and the lawn/landscaping is taken care of regularly. There is the option for covered parking or garages. There is a very small fenced area called a dog park. In the evening, there are always families out walking with there children. The only issue I have with the apartments is there is not a trash can anywhere near my building. I have a dog and I don't have anywhere to throw the pet waste except the dumpster. The dumpster is not to far from building but it gets old walking to the dumpster 2 or 3 times a day. The rent is cheap compared to apartments in Bentonville. It is relatively close to a Harps and Wal-Mart neighborhoods market. And it is located in the Bentonville school district. The management both Jeremy and Dustin have been nothing but polite to me. Overall, I have enjoyed living here. Yes, there is the occasional loud neighbor or weekend party but it hasn't been a huge problem. read more

The management is SO helpful and kind during the intake process. The grounds are beautiful with a pool that is cleaned everyday and several commodities that are free to use for residents including the doggy cleaning station, tanning bed and gym. Have not moved in yet but looks very promising. As for the pest issues that were mentioned in previous reviews, management has a pest control company come every week and all you have to do is let them know there is an issue so they can treat your apartment. read more

APT has lots of insect. The management is corrupt, They cheat you out of every penny they can from way over charging for a apartment to whatever they can find. Other than Rent and Electricity they charged 50$ every month added to rent. Also, after staying for only 6 months with no damage to apt they cut-off / ate all deposit money $142 out of $150 and returned me only 7$. Once you sign the lease they treat you badly. This place is worst. AVOID!. I would not advise anybody to move here. read more

I rented a two bedroom apartment here for six months when I first moved to NWA. I moved my things in and unexpectedly was placed on military orders for out of state during the time I was renting here. I decided to keep the place, since the orders were temporary and I was getting a housing allowance. The garbage disposal didn't work when I got the apartment, so, I called the front office and politely requested a work order be put in for it to be fixed. I came back a month later and it hadn't been fixed. I went to the front office and courteously requested to speak to the manager. I was told he was too busy. I insisted, as I could see him in his office talking about sports on the phone with someone. I was escorted into his office only to be treated with passive aggression and dismissal after conducting myself in a consistently courteous and understanding manner. I decided to just let it go, since I only stayed there one night a month. Each time I came back once a month, I was always grateful I didn't live there full time. Loud, late night domestic disturbances, loud partying, tenants' dogs running wild on the property, and surly looking characters lurking around the parking were a regular occurrence. If I saw this every time I stayed there, only two days a month, I can only guess how much those things happen here the rest of the time. Several months after I moved out, I received only about $60.00 on my $350.00+ deposit. I called to ask why I had received such a small return on my deposit. I explained to them that I had literally only stayed there less than thirty days, never had guests or pets or caused any sort of damage, never spilled anything on the carpet, or even hung anything on the wall for them to spackle over! Consistently, I was rudely rebuffed and told that it was standard general maintenance fees and never provided with a breakdown of the services for these "maintenance fees". Last but not least, they never fixed the garbage disposal. The sad thing about it is that they never knew I wasn't living there, they just simply didn't care. With so many nicer complexes in the Centerton and West Bentonville area, I wouldn't even consider this place. read more

I lived at Stoneleigh Centerton for two years. I do own my home in Kansas, but was in need of an apartment in NWA to be closer to my granddaughter. As a discerning consumer, I am particular about my choices, and found that Stoneleigh Centerton offered all that I was looking for. Having looked at all options in the western part of Bentonville and in Centerton, I found that the apartments were spacious and in very good repair. I valued the efforts of the management team and the maintenance staff as they made me feel cared for and appreciated. I found the location to be quiet and safe. It was easy to get to anywhere in the area from this Centerton address. I loved the pool, and used it often, and frequently worked out in the gym. I enjoyed my time living at Stoneleigh Centerton. It was a great value for all I received, and I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone that is looking! read more
