Communicated via text and then they called to make an appointment for an estimate. No one bothered to call or show up.

Initially we were given two options for the egress window. 1) cut out the top of the concrete and use a wooden header - this was the cheaper option. 2) leave concrete at the top and install a metal support. We requested this option and paid the amount for this. However the wooden header option was completed which did not match the rest of the house. We were told this was the only possible option yet we were charged the price quoted for the concrete/metal header. We didn't complain; however, soon after we discovered the window was leaking so much air that it was whistling when we had windy days. You can even see light through the side of the window. We sent photos and a video showing this and someone came out to our house twice to verify this, but they fixed nothing. We have been told repeatedly that it's an issue with the window manufacturer and someone would get back to us with next steps. Our whole basement finishing project is on hold and it will cost us even more money to bring contractors back to trim and paint the window after it gets replaced, not to mention increased utility bills and the potential for water damage. It seems our calls and e-mails are being ignored. We tried to get this resolved civilly, but it looks like we have no choice but to hire an attorney.

I sent Sam an email through is website and received an immediate call. Sam came out to my house on a Sunday and walked me through the process. No sales pitch, no non-sense, down to earth, and personable, just what I was looking for. I need someone to fix it once and for all! The work looks great. Sam's crew left our yard and basement spotless in a better condition than it was in before they got there to do the work. I have complete confidence that this pesky crack will no longer be a problem for me. I highly recommend.

While…read morehe's quite personable and gave a great report, he didn't notice the basement leaks etc until we pointed it out. However as I said, he's personable. Fast forward a year, and we're finishing the basement. Our contractor went to put in the new plumbing and our foundation was a mess. Got two quotes for sump pump systems, one from Sam and one from our contractor's work experience. About the same, so we went with Sam. Sam never showed up but sent his team who appeared to work hard and diligently. Older house so they broke the main sewage line leaving our house. Our problem of course. Later, luckily before we put in carpet, noticed the middle of a room was leaking from the floor up. Looks like they agitated the line running to the upstairs laundry room. Again, our problem. A year later, the pipe that runs to our line that goes out to the culvert, is leaking all over our concrete patio. Contact Sam (third time) and he tells us, not his problem, call a plumber - should be an easy fix. Call the plumber, he comes out and says no i'm not going to fix it because this is such a poor design that it will just happen again. Oh and by the way you are lucky that the water never froze in this pipe (the design has it going "uphill") since that would have broken your sump pump. Now, we have to investigate how to re-design the layout and plumber will come back to fix. Thanks Sam - no expertise or service provided.
