We went for a celebration tonight (5of us). The security that was checking ID looked at my wife and asked for ID. She said it might take a second to pull out from her wallet cause it sticks to the plastic window. He said well you may get be smuggling something in with a horrible attitude. Me, her husband said, excuse me, what did you say? He said, you heard me, she might be smuggling something in, with a bad attitude. If he was being funny,we would have gotten a laugh out of all of us, but he was very rude about it. So I told him if you're are going to be like that we don't need to go in. He decided to be an a$$ and said we'll get out of here. We exchanged heated words because you don't talk to my wife that way. I asked to see his manager and he said no. My wife asked to see the manager and he denied that as well. I said some choice words with him as he had the worst customer service we ever encountered there. I had a very upsetting experience at this bar. During my visit, one of the employees spoke to me in a hostile and aggressive way -- yelling, cursing, and using language that was completely inappropriate and offensive calling me a beaner It created an environment that felt unsafe and disrespectful. I expect basic professionalism and courtesy from staff anywhere I choose to spend my time and money, and unfortunately this visit fell far below that standard. Stopped by Stoneys North Forty on a Sunday evening, it was dead. No cover charge which was nice. That staff was hit or miss whether they were nice or not but I don't have high expectations for bars like this. The decor was so nice, they had some comfy couches, high bar tops with great lighting. I love the size of the dance floor, seems about the same size as the original Stoneys. They had great country music playing! The outside patio was great, several games you can play (see pictures) can't wait to visit again on a busy summer night! read more

I'm torn on this place! It looks fun, great drink selection, the layout is cool but there's a few gripes I have with this spot..... No bathrooms - you have to leave the place and use the restroom in the casino. And secondly - NO WATER - I asked for water and the bartender said sure only bottled. I said no I'm fine with tap water and she said they aren't allowed to serve tap water! I just spent money on several rounds of drinks and you can't give me water? I looked at all the reviews and thought "they can't be correct... can they?". They were. I think whoever manages this place needs to figure out how social media and websites work - especially updating things for potential customers. We planned a trip to North Forty to learn line dancing. Website said it was happening at 7:30 on a Wednesday night and that live music started at 10:30. We show up and find out it is $30.00 to get in. We didn't want to stay for the live music, just the line dancing, but it didn't matter. We still would have had to pay the full price. Not a big deal - if we had known about it. Nothing at all on the website or other social media. Totally wasted trip. We went and hung out in a bar at the casino and spent less than four people paying $30.00 each at Stoney's. Oh, and you can't call them. Phone gives you an option to "reserve a table" but then the phone rings and rings, then goes to VM and won't let you leave a message since it is full. Customer service? Nah, not so much. Wish there were more decent western bars in this town. read more

Decided to check out the new location on Wednesday and it was packed! Aside from it being packed the bartenders killed it super friendly and quick!! Dj was awesome!! Decided to come back tonight and did not disappoint. Dj played different songs not sure if it was the same one or not but similar bartenders and she remembered us from Wednesday as well as our drink order which I was super impressed by being she probably served well over 100 people that night. Forgot her name but she was closest to the exit doors. Family had a great time, great for all ages and will be back!! read more

I'm born in raised in Texas and I've lived in Vegas for the last 6 years. I've been beyond depressed and sad about being away from home and family. I went to Stoneys for the first time tonight and my husband made me feel like the best princess. Unfortunately, security said my husband can't whistle while I dance and security kicked my husband and friends out for being disruptive? I've never cried harder. I finally had an ounce of encouragement and it got taken away. Honestly words can't describe my pain and embarrassment. I never want to step into that establishment ever again. read more

We are always looking for a good place for a happy hour. Bar food and a couple of drinks. The Santa Fe put up a big sign about stoney's happy hour, so we thought we'd give it a try. Looked at their menu online and it looked pretty good. Showed up, they wanted to charge us a cover charge, and the guy at the door said they didn't even serve food. What a bunch of crap. We went once on a Friday night at 11pm and it was packed with a younger under 30 crowd. We really like the outdoor seating this location has compared to the Town Square location since we don't dance. At the other stoneys, good luck getting a seat if you don't reserve a table. This location you can always find a table! We went again on a Friday at 8:30 and it was a lot less busy with a crowd of 40+. We didn't mind! Cover is $5 a person. We love coming here to hang out with friends! read more

The dj never plays country music unless it's a two step and when he does do an actual line dance that's a country song he speeds it up so everyone is off and no one can keep up. The drinks are overpriced. Only star is for the service. read more

Ya know, other than security, I actually love this place. Bartenders Brandy and Silvara are fuckin great. Good vibes all around and no drama. But it's kinda sketchy when you literally haven't had any run ins with security but when you go to one of your favorite spots to have a few cold ones and told you have a 60 day ban, that's a little weird. But I know apparently one of the main security guards is in fact friends with this guy I have issues with and had a small encounter a couple weeks ago. Nothing serious nor physical. Joe the bartender is super, besides being totally cool, during the night she hops up on the bar and dances. Love the drink happy hour prices. We go early for social time with friends, then enjoy the dance lessons. Like that the dj mixes up the music too! Inside and outside atmosphere is great there. Plenty of room so you don't feel squished in there. They also have plenty of games for everyone to enjoy. Total bonus the location being inside the Santa Fe hotel and casino. read more

NO BATHROOMS in the place. You have to walk through the Santa Fe Casino to find one. Guys will get patted down EVERY time you come back in. NO FOOD except if you order by scanning the QR code on the table from an Italian place. You can bring food in from the Santa Fe Food Court. Drinks cannot leave or come in to the Bar, even though it's in the Casino. (they have separate liquor licenses from the casino). Outdoor area was ok, shuffle board inside is free, pool tables wouldn't take dollar bills and an employee said we could get quarters in the casino (and then get patted down again when re-entering). We have a group that meets for happy hour once a month, with 3 to 15 people in attendance. We're been interested in Stoney's North Forty since it opened. A mechanical bull, live music, food , drink and a happy hour from 4 to 7 . My hubs and I decided to check it out today, arriving at approximately 4:15. NO ONE WAS THERE. The bouncer?/ doorman at the front checked our ID from the code on our drivers license. " Why are you scanning the code? "We asked. " To be able to keep out trespassers " he answered. " Do you get many trespassers in a bar ?" " We need to know when there is trouble". He responded. D and U hubs, ( decorative and useful) has worked in law enforcement and the gaming commission , was not pleased with such a thoughtless answer. Guy didn't know what he was talking about. But in we go. Chatted with the bartender re: when does the bar liven up? Answer, closer to 6. Dancing lessons at 7:30 and 8:30. Persistent as I am, I asked for the happy hour menu. There was not one! Only three draft beers were available on a happy hour price. No food! We thanked the lovely young girl with a smile and a goodbye and exited stage right. Again a smile and goodbye to bouncer/ doorman. Stoney's will probably be a fun time after nine o'clock. They should stop advertising a happy hour. There is none read more

Stoney's North Forty is the greatest thing since sliced bread!! Everything here hits home like mommas cooking after church on a Sunday! From the exceptional service to the friendly face, you just can't go wrong with this place. The DJ and line dance teacher, Manda Ryan has the most amazing songs that creates the most perfect atmosphere I have been apart of! She is always down to play any recommendation you request and always mixes up the slow and fast songs perfectly! Manda is truly a special DJ that never disappoints. If you are a local or a just a traveling visitor I highly recommend rolling through Stoney's to see what all the noise is about. read more
