Haven't been in awhile but Mangos was my safe haven after lockdown and the spot to go to for fun nights, sad nights, and random nights. The bar tenders are lively and fun to be around and having access to play whatever songs you want is a bonus. But there a robertoes next door and they allow the food to be brought in. Place was kind of empty and there was only one person working the bar area. This is a wonderful little neighborhood bar, which happens to be a beach bar, a la tiki style. It's quite large, but you're greeted right away, by the bartender, upon entering. In the center is a big large rectangle type bar, complete with video poker machines all the way around. To the left is a pool room with two or three tables and a few other electronic bar games. Behind the bar are the restrooms which are very nice. New tile, incredibly clean. Really wonderful. To the RIGHT of the entrance is the big deal: An outside beach area complete with real sand! There are all the niceties to make this look tiki-like. They used to have beach volleyball. They can have big gatherings, concerts, and so much more. Really unique, wonderful area! The bar is fully stocked with all your favorite beers and liquors, they can make most any drink. They also have a specialty cocktail menu. I was disappointed they don't specialize in too many of the rum drinks you'd expect in a tiki bar, but this is really a neighborhood bar with a tiki feel. They have a TouchTunes jukebox here. Wonderful! You can choose songs to play right from the app on your phone, from the comfort of your seat/bar stool/etc. You don't even have to go over to the machine! It has a full selection of most all songs, as it accesses the Internet. Definitely a big plus! Even in this early Saturday afternoon, the bar had a cigarette smokey stench in the air. This was with only two other customers. I can't imagine what it'd be like on a busy night. There are too many options to help disperse that smokey smell (not the least of which is Ozium spray!), I'm really disappointed in this. Nonetheless, the bar is unique and fun. The service was really bad showed up here and we asked for a menu, he responded by saying they didn't have a menu... we asked for a price for cocktail or beer, and he responded with " if you have to ask for the price of a beer or cocktail, should you really be here." Mango's is a beach themed joint with a very cute patio. Play a little video poker and catch some sun outside. It's easy pretend you're in the tropics, as they have set it up with sand and beach chairs. Devin is an amazing bartender with a bubbly and positive attitude all the time. There's no surprise she is also a manager because she does her job phenomenally. I love coming here not only for the beach vibes but because I always receive excellent service from every bartender- including Josh, Aidee, and Carolina. Thanks guys! read more

I visit the bar at least once a week. I love hanging out at the bar or the beach (especially when it is not hot). It never gets crowded or rowdy and the clientele is friendly. I appreciate the ambiance, the decor and the game. Just my kinda place. The bar tenders are great and in spite of the size of the bar they tend (its quite big), they manage to get the orders out in good time. I'm a chill kinda guy so I don't sweat it if my drink doesn't come immediately (I just think some people are prima donnas and have this need for immediate service....lol). Yeah, I might be a paying customer, but so are the others. Indeed, the bathroom needed to be controlled thats why the keys were necessary. I think thats better than going in there and finding someone sleeping inside it. Its for security, whats wrong with that? (The bar can't do anything about the couple of homeless people who are around even though they would want to). Yeah sure, its not your typical Las Vegas kinda bar, but if you want a place to just chill out, have a couple of quiet drinks and good chicken wings or Roberto's, Mangos Beach Bar is the place to be. Decided to stop here because it was a beach bar theme which I love, and also to watch the Ducks play the Pac-12 championship game. It's a big bar, with plenty of gaming areas, a couple pool tables off to the side, and an electronic dartboard. It also has an outdoor patio area that they use for giant beer pong. I believe this is owned now by the group that owns all the Lodge places. The place was pretty empty for 6pm on a Friday night. I think only me and 2 others were there. They have no happy hour specials. They also do not have a kitchen, so you can get your food from Roberto's Taco Shop next door, or The Stop N Shop. I hope they put in a restaurant for better food selection. TV's for the game are all above the bar, and maybe 30". They need to upgrade that to be considered a sports bar. Service was pretty good, and friendly. New waitress there was very kind. Overall, it has loads of potential, but they need management to create an atmosphere that will draw in the crowds. This is one of those places that I would not have found if there was not a reason for me to be going there. I happened to be trying to qualify for the X107.5 wing bowl 4 and the qualifying round took place at Mangos. Considering I live on the complete opposite side of town this was probably the only thing that would get me over here. Once we walked in the first thing to catch my attention is the large round bar. I know you see round bars at all the casinos but for some reason this one struck me as extraordinary, Maybe it was the way they used the space and had plenty of seating and no matter where you sat you got service and you could see the flat screens that surrounded the room. Obviously for me, the only thing on the menu was wings but from what a few of the regulars in the place said the food is not your ordinary bar food and to top that they have a Robertos that is basically built in to the bar. I actually did not know it was there until I went to fins the restroom and walked in to the area that has Robertos. This is a great place to go if you are in the area or live on that side of the city. The service was great, the atmosphere is great and they offer pool, darts and much more. Maybe one day Ill make the trip with some friends and go livin the joint up. read more

Dropped by to have a cigar and some lunch. Good selection of drafts, nothing exotic but good beers. Food selection is limited, I had wings and they were great. good atmosphere and the outdoor space was great. It wasn't a really hot day and sat outside and smoked my cigar. Not a fan. This place has tons of potential, but looks as though the owners ran out of money. They have an awesome outdoor beach element, but I have been there 3 times and never seen it used! The place is also huge, but rather empty on most occasions and somehow the place is super smokey even when only a few people are present. The girl's restroom is also far from up to par. The plus side would be if you are looking to play a good game of darts or pool the area is almost always up for grabs. read more

This review is months overdue. We live right up the street within walking distance of Mangos and went there I think on a Saturday morning around 2 or 3am and sat at the bar. The decor was very underwhelming and it was bare with business -Granted maybe most people already called it a night by the time we went but it was a Saturday night so you would think there would at least be a few people in there- Anyways we sat at the bar and the one only other person at the bar had all the attention of the bartender for about 5 minutes until we had asked for a drink menu and the specials. We were told beer was the specials so I asked what beers he had and he mumbled something and went back to the other person at the bar. I let my partner take the reigns at this point because I was getting irritated at how he just walked away. Deciding to just chock it up to maybe he didn't hear my question, I just ask my partner to order me one of whatever he was having. The beer I got was fine, nothing to complain about there but truly the service by that dark haired male bartender was absolutely terrible. So terrible that we have specifically avoided this spot altogether for a few months now. Maybe one day we will try this again but for now, that's unlikely. read more

Mango's is a sports bar I go to weekly. They have a great draft beer selection. The staff is friendly. The food is good. There's gaming with players club specials. There's karaoke on Fridays & Saturdays. There's happy hour twice a day & $5 drink specials all day. When I went there last week they had 10 different beers only $3 each. This place is great for groups and parties because the bar area is big, there's private booths, a big outdoor patio, and additional seating around pool tables and other games. Finally decided to come by and check out this place since I live right down the street and pass out all the time. My friend and I were very limited by our beer choices since they had nothing available on tap. We were also pretty much ignored since the bartender was mostly focusing on the large party. It took us over 30 minutes to even try to get another round and another 30 to 40 minutes to try to close our tab. I will never return to this place. It been long long time the last time was here was back when it was called Boomerangs. Not much has changed with the bar still sports theme bar with an interesting element of outdoor beach area. I came for some day or second stop on day drinking tour with friend visiting. Also too visit one of the best bartenders in Vegas Carly. They have lot of different beers on draft always plus comes too bars for me. Lots of television up above the bar that can ask them too change channel and have your own little sportsbook. Soon walk in nice area of three pool tables, couple dart boards, and bar stools all around relax with friends. The outdoor bar area sure it might get more use during warmer weather. Something that unique most people don't know about but without doubt is under utilized. The food rather mystery because clearly no kitchen area. They order the food from phone and everything is brought out in too go containers. Odd. Nothing special about Mango except Carly. So... If you're looking for snooty bartenders that are only nice to you if you're a guy... This bar is for you. On average over the length of time I've gone here, I drop $100-$200 at a time in the machines and never ever win. BUT the main reason I will never go back is because they have lost all of the good staff. Oh... plus if you feel like peeing in a bathroom that smells like someone pooped on the walls... Moderate traffic in the place. Two bartenders on duty. Took 10 minutes to be acknowledged. When we tried to order another drink... Yup, another 10 minutes. And when the bartenders did actually talk to us, it was clear that they hated being there. If you go, I recommend bringing prozac. read more
