I have been going to the Hidwaway for years even had my 80th birthday party there, owners have changed many times. New owner looked like the was very pleasant and would come around and talked to us. Went a couple of Thursday nights ago and sat at the Pony Bar next to dance floor. No waitress ever came around. My daughter went to the bar and ordered drinks, later food. Owner was sitting at the bar. I went up to her and very politely said "I want to thank you for the service I did not get tonight". She rudely said "First of all, get out of my face". I was not in her face and was very polite. Found out later that if you sit at the pony bar you have to get your own drinks. Went back tonight and was served by a waitress that semi waited on us. Paid the bill and gave her a good tip, however had to go the the bar for one round of drinks. I cannot believe that someone that runs a bar cannot have a better customer relations with there customers. it is a shame because there are not many places in Las Vegas that have music and a large dance floor. Truly a hidden gem in North Las Vegas. Seen them listed on food delivery apps for a while, so I decided to give them a try. First time I ordered their rodeo burger well-done, but got med-rare instead. Normally I wouldn't mind (med-rare is delicious!!), but I am pregnant and uncooked meat is on my no-no list. Nevertheless, my burger was FIRE and even the fries were fantastic! Ordered again because my burger cravings started and left special instructions to please cook well because I am pregnant. Food arrived and it was medium rare again. I was irritated and called the restaurant to let them know what was wrong with my order. Mo answered the phone and immediately apologized and offered to have a new order made and delivered to me by one of their cooks. I am very impressed by their willingness to go above and beyond to make this right. Not many businesses would do this for their customers. Moving on to the food review... food is DAMN DELICIOUS!! I haven't had a burger this good in a very long time. Their rodeo burger is juicy, flavorful, and bold. They use fresh avocado and grilled poblano and onions. The environment here is so great, but the service is HORRIBLE. I came to meet up with some of my friends, for this being my second time coming into the Hideaway, our server was not the best. I believe her name was Lindsey, she came to our table ONE time in the whole 2 hours I was there. After not seeing my server for two hours I went up to the bar to order a drink. The female bartender with the black hair and tattoos was working. After sitting there for another 30 minutes with no one acknowledged my existence. The bartender sat there and played on her phone the whole time I sat at a barstool, waiting to order a drink. I was very disappointed and wasn't able to even get a water after 3 hours of me bing there. I will NOT be coming back and you shouldn't come here either!!!! I've ordered so many times from this place on Uber Eats they probably know my order by now. Lol. I've tried a few different things and it's been good. The burgers and sandwiches are our favorite. They add stuff on if you put it in your notes. We tried the pizza once and it was good too. Really cheesy and chewy crust. They follow notes because my wife doesn't eat bread and they always leave out the Bun. Which alot of places ignore. So glad I found this place.
