    "Grapefruit" martini
    Melissa C.

Pretty swanky decor and decent drinks. I had to try a martini, as the bar vibe seems to cater to those. I had a grapefruit martini, which actually has no grapefruit! It's gin based, pink, and has a sugar rim. Yummy! The poker machines, however, are too far back from the seats. Not conducive to being comfortable while playing. Alas, there are other seating areas away from the bar where you can stay a while. There were bottle service menus in these seating areas, which probably means they have music on the weekends. It's a round bar, with a panoramic view of the casino floor, and the jeweled chandelier centerpiece provides a touch of elegance. This was my first visit here, and I asked the bartender if they had a martini/drink menu. She said something to the effect of, they used to. I assumed they had one after reading about it somewhere. Nevertheless, she recommended the "grapefruit" martini, and that was a great drink.

Honny and Jimmy, the bartenders at this bar are so wonderful and attentive!!!! They have amazing service and make sure you're always taken care of. Definitely make it a regular spot to visit on the weekends.

Wow...the last review was over 2 years ago? No review from the duke? This place is quite nice and bright. We were waiting on some friends to join last night's sausage party but they came a bit late that I ended up playing video slots and blackjack. Never playing slots ever again, I'm sticking with blackjack. I had a passion fruit martini, a love martini and a raspberry gummi bear. The bartender was a pretty hot biatch and she has a nice rack. Make sure you look for Nhuhoang when you go here. Her pornstar name is "Honny" but don't call her that. All I had to say was "I want something fruity" and she made the best cocktails I've ever had. She gave me some candy too. I think I love her but I think she likes hairy men. They have lots of TV's here too so I was able to catch a basketball game. They play pretty good house music.

Had a business meeting here during Happy Hour at 4 pm on a Wed.....good move on my part, wine by the glass is 1/2 off during Happy Hour!!! The bartenders that were working there were good looking and very friendly. They made sure that our glasses were never empty. It was a perfect spot for our meeting. I went on their website and got more details on their Happy Hour...see below: Daily Happy Hour Specials: 4pm - 9pm Reverse Happy Hour: Sunday - Thursday, 11pm - 1am 2 for 1 Martini Menu Half-Price Wine by the Glass Half-Price Bottled Beer $49.99 Bottle of SKYY Will I return? Absolutely!

Great service. Enjoyed the conversation with the bartender. She made a great drink and added some additional cherries!

We came for appetizers, drinks, and dessert and the birthday boy wanted to sit in the dining room side (we were given a choice when we walked in, and realized later we probably should have sat in the lounge to take advantage of the happy hour. Oh well!) I had mentioned we were there for a birthday and were pleasantly surprised by an additional ice cream for him to celebrate! We had asked for more chips to enjoy the rest of our guacamole, but never received them, and eventually asked for them to go. We also saw that we were charged for the birthday ice cream, which kind of put a damper on the visit. Overall, the birthday was still fun and we enjoyed the food.

The Mexican food overall is pretty mid in my opinion, but Taco Tuesday value for money, is definitely worth it. As a couple, we've always had great service on the bar side. With our kids however, it's been hit or miss on the family side. We have four children, ages 1, 2, 4 and 6, and on one visit we had to repeatedly ask for basics like water, utensils and crayons. However, we've also had an AMAZING male waiter who has two sons. We've had him during our most recent visit, and he was exceptional. He immediately brought coloring supplies, colored straws for the kids, anticipated everything we needed and was incredibly friendly and personable. We genuinely appreciated him. Unfortunately, management has been a very different experience. We've seen the same manager in the zipup jacket multiple times, both when we've been sitting on the bar side without our kids and on the family side with them, and he has never been particularly friendly, welcoming or personable. He even walked directly past our happy one year old saying hi to him and waving and he did not acknowledge him. At the time, I assumed he simply hadn't noticed. But now I'm like, oh he likely ignored him and likely does not like young children. At the end of our most recent visit, I took the kids to the car while my husband stayed behind to finish a work call and have one more drink. He accidentally walked out still holding his glass and, once he realized, immediately returned it. We completely understand that leaving with restaurant glassware isn't allowed. What surprised us was that the manager then informed the wait staff to inform us that we should not return, not only because of the glass, but because our children make too much mess. However; I know that this is aimed at just our one year old as our older kids are out of the dropping food on the floor stage. Obviously, a one year old is going to drop food while eating. There's no way around it. If his mess was ever an issue, we would have happily cleaned underneath his high chair ourselves. Nobody had ever mentioned it to us. And every other restaurant always says it is not a problem! We were also there for dinner at 5:30 p.m. So not particularly late and offensive. If La Neta doesn't want to accommodate families with babies or young children, that's completely their choice, but it should be made clear so families can choose somewhere else. It's a huge shame because we genuinely enjoyed coming here, and our waiter made our entire family feel incredibly welcome. We hope La Neta either makes it clear that young families aren't something they're willing to accommodate or hires management that is more welcoming, friendly and accepting of Las Vegas families. Great cocktails, great atmosphere, amazing birria tacos and potentially excellent service. But based on our experience with management, I wouldn't recommend bringing babies or young children. It would also be more respected for the manager to inform us we are no longer welcome himself. Instead of directing a member of the bar staff to inform us on his behalf, since it's him who has the issue with our one year old making too much mess. It comes across like he feels that our one year old makes mess as a personal attack to him. Rather than it being just a normal thing that 1 year olds do. I'm sure he did the same as a 1 year old. I do still want to highlight our male waiter with two sons, you were amazing and absolutely deserve recognition. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

We came on a Friday night but we overlooked the timing of when the place turns into Rouge Noir, but the staff kindly let us finish our meal and drinks. Almost immediately after my husband settled our tab, the place transformed into a jumpin spot with a DJ and packed dancefloor. We decided to enjoy the music and then a drink out on the back patio. It was nice that we could do this without paying for bottle service or whatever crazy inflated fees places around town charge. As as local who cannot stand the strip, this place satisfied our itch to get out and dance, enjoy a nice meal, and sip some nice cocktails while experiencing top notch service. We made a reservation for 9p. We've done this for drinks many times in the past with no issues. I'm aware that the lounge turns into a nightclub later in the evening, so we expected to leave the table at that point. There's no mention of table minimums or bottle service on the website or on the booking link through Open Table. When we arrived for our 9p reservation, the hostess said that tables now were only for bottle service for the nightclub (which hadn't started), and there would be a $400 minimum spend on a table although we had a reservation. She acknowledged that the website didn't say anything about this when booking, (even acknowledged that it's been an issue with other customers) and said we could just sit at the bar. Well, no- the reason we reserved a table, was because we wanted a table to have cocktails. She insisted that we'd have to meet the $400 minimum to have a table at this point. We left, but obviously weren't happy. How hard would it be to put "reservations for a table after x time have a minimum $400 spend" so customers are aware? Definitely a bad taste for Rouge Room. Hopefully they'll update their website soon.

Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. The service felt off from the start. It honestly felt like I was bothering the bartender (I believe his name was Caz, or something close). I even tipped on the fly after winning 30 bucks on the machine due to making me play to get the seat (no one was there) but there was still zero hospitality or acknowledgment. What stood out even more was watching the staff prioritize someone yelling across the bar, while completely overlooking customers who were actually sitting there and trying to engage respectfully. Coming from California, I'm used to a higher level of service and attentiveness. This just wasn't it. There are plenty of other local bars in the area that value their customers' time and money. I won't be coming back.

Cocktails and appetizers are half priced during happy hour, just an fyi. We ordered the mini beef Wellington, goat cheese pastry dish, and the salmon with risotto. The food is average priced most decent options running you $20+ also there isn't all day breakfast which is a tick against them as well. I couldn't find any sort of discount, players special or graveyard special unfortunately. I had the grill cheese and tomato soup which was only $10 and pretty good and the service was also good the only thing not to my liking was the Irish coffee it was prepared with too much baileys which harmed the taste. As far as gaming is concerned there is no welcome offer, I couldn't see any other sort of promotion active either no four of a kind bonus, point multiplier, free play, etc... just points it remains to be seen if they even send out mailers. Beyond that the game quality is poor 6/5 bonus poker and 8/5 DDB is the best you are going to get so everything is below a 97% return. Overall just your average gaming bar I don't see enough value for me to come back even though it's a nice location.
