Today I got garlic knots upon arrival to get my to go order (they take about 3 minutes) and they took my pizzas back to keep them warm! AMBIANCE It's a casual pizza joint with a few seats outside. Recommend you order to go or delivery UNLESS it's a warm sunny day and then eating on the patio would be very nice indeed! :)

I placed an order for delivery. After waiting one hour, I called the store and they said I need to wait at least another 15 minutes before the order is ready for the driver to pickup. Ordering pizza and delivery you expect it to arrive in a reasonable time. I can understand getting busy but to wait close to 2 hours expected time is unreasonable. If you can't process orders on time, don't take the orders. Provide the customer a better experience. I always order from sunset pizza and never have this issue. With this wait might as well go to riip as the wait is about the same. Update: the food finally came. The calzone was undercooked and the dough was raw. See video. read more

As a first-time guest, it was super rad to be so welcomed The food was great! The pizza was cooked just the way I like it, crispy with a light dough and mild, sauce. The garlic knots were really good without being too greasy! The only downside for me is the pricing. With a big family to feed, the lack of specials or family deals makes it a bit tough for dinner. This time, we just grabbed one pizza for our Super Bowl spread, so it was manageable. That said, the quality and service will definitely bring me back! read more

Who says there's no good pizza in California? Great selection of custom pies , like the jalapeño popper (that has no business being as good as it was) along with all the traditional toppings. The house made sausage was pretty awesome as well. The garlic knots are a must have! Dip them in their house ranch (I've heard strange tales of people dipping pizza in it ,but I can't afford the therapy sessions that would require to discuss further). Once you get past Chicago you may as well keep driving til you hit this place. read more

I was scrolling Instagram and I came across this post from StoneysHB, it said "we are struggling, our landlord let another pizza spot open up next to us" Stoney's has been on my list of places to try since moving closer to the beach so I figured it would be the perfect opportunity to try it out and help out a local HB business. Ordering was pretty seamless, I did it thru Yelp. We got large bbq chicken and large meat lovers, with tax, delivery, tip, it came to about 65$. We submitted our order at 5:40pm, it was due to arrive between 6:25-6:30. I contacted the Slice app that does delivery at 6:40, asking for an update, my order showed up at 7pm COLD. To be clear..this is not an issue with Stoney's but an issue with Slice, the delivery service. Updated: I increased my stars! The business owner reached out and apologized for the experience, offered to remake the order and deliver. I declined but the personalized message in my inbox was a very sweet thing to wake up to this morning. That is not something that you see very often, genuine people. I would, try Stoney's again, just not for delivery. Thank you for turning my experience into a positive one! read more

Overall the pizza was good. We ordered delivery through slice but the food came out flavorful. Some of the options are fun a unique. We particularly enjoyed the white sauce pizza (can't remember the exact name) along with the little stuff skulls. The only downside was reheat ability felt a little weak. read more

It was actually so good, it had great flavor. Not just salty. I liked the big chunks of veggies that were in there but I would have liked just a few more pieces of clam. Service was extremely friendly and attentive from start to finish. This restaurant was a great find, it had modern decor, was not too bright or loud and had a small amount of seating at the bar and lots of tables.

The sauce was also quite spicy, so maybe not suitable for people who can't do spice. The no brainer was a 10/10 and the sauce addiction was a 6/10. We came here to watch the FIFA World Cup and the wait was about 1hr 40 min, but it was worth it! The fries came out fast, but the pizza took about 40min, this is how long it usually takes on the weekends.

I needed to prepare for a pizza presentation and decided to go with their "Take Home Kit" to save time and avoid a messy kitchen. I called ahead and picked one up, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The kit included fresh dough, savory sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni for just $10. I added mushrooms and bell peppers for an extra charge, which made it even better. Making the pizza was a breeze, and it turned out delicious! The quality of the ingredients really stood out. The shop has a cool, laid-back vibe, decorated with unique graffiti, and the staff was friendly and helpful They also offer online ordering and delivery through the Slice app, making it super convenient. Disappointing experience from start to finish. We tried Stoney's for the first time hoping to find a new pizza spot in HB, but unfortunately, it missed the mark. We ordered via Yelp and the delivery was odd, the driver rushed off before we could tip him, despite my husband trying to catch him at the door. The food arrived lukewarm and lacked flavor. The meat calzone was overly salty, and the cheese pizza was just bland. We barely ate half and ended up tossing the leftovers. The pricing was decent, but the quality and service left a lot to be desired. Sadly, we won't be ordering again. We didn't even eat half, most of it went in the trash. I was visiting from Chicago and had Stoney's. I spent my life living between souther California and the Chicagoland area. I KNOW the pizza scene WAS bleak whenever I used to live in or visit California. Not anymore!! Stoney's is the goat! I'm saying this as a person who eats a lot of Chicago pizza!!! This place might be one of the best pizza places I've been to. The service is straight and quick to the point, and the employees are well versed at taking orders and making conversations. The place also has a great outdoor area where you can sit and eat their food, and the view is pretty cool. If you have a favorite pizza place, try this one out, I bet it's a good competitor. read more
