I placed an order for delivery. After waiting one hour, I called the store and they said I need to wait at least another 15 minutes before the order is ready for the driver to pickup. Ordering pizza and delivery you expect it to arrive in a reasonable time. I can understand getting busy but to wait close to 2 hours expected time is unreasonable. If you can't process orders on time, don't take the orders. Provide the customer a better experience. I always order from sunset pizza and never have this issue. My son is on the spectrum and he came up to me this morning with pancakes in his hands. He told me he wanted pizza. I told him I have just the place for you bubba! First-time visitor, and I'll definitely be back! Tito (if he's not the owner, he definitely deserves a raise!) was incredibly welcoming and helpful. As a first-time guest, it was super rad to be so welcomed The food was great! The pizza was cooked just the way I like it, crispy with a light dough and mild, sauce. The garlic knots were really good without being too greasy! The only downside for me is the pricing. With a big family to feed, the lack of specials or family deals makes it a bit tough for dinner. Great tasting pizza, unique flavor combos but ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE service. I live close by and love me a slice or two on occasion. Service is never good, usually only one guy, usually hiding in the back, usually complaining about orders after 7ish. Today we rolled up about 7:25-7:30. Wanted 4 slices. 2 couples in the lobby. Waited without seeing anyone for about 10+ minutes. Finally asked the other waiters if they had seen anyone...nope. 5 people all in the lobby talking and joking that they thought the guy was sleeping in the back, peeking around to see if we could see anyone. OK so we rang the bell, human finally came out, with a pizza dough in his hands, then said some confusing stuff, returned without the pizza dough. Started touching the computer. Mumbled something about having 4 orders...then I said I wanted to order and I kid you not, his exact words were "I think I'm done taking orders for today" didn't ask what I wanted, just made me wait in the lobby for 10+ mins then complained that they were closing in 23 minutes and he was done. Couldn't even get a slice. And I'd bet my winning lottery ticket that he didn't wash his hands after handling the computer upfront when he went back to making those 4 pizzas. Ewwww. Service is never good here, they've cancelled orders, and make me feel like they're doin me a favor to buy their food, and honestly it feels dirty, like bugs all over the ceiling in the lobby, but the za is good enough that I've always just ignored it all. Who says there's no good pizza in California? Great selection of custom pies , like the jalapeño popper (that has no business being as good as it was) along with all the traditional toppings. The house made sausage was pretty awesome as well. The garlic knots are a must have! Dip them in their house ranch (I've heard strange tales of people dipping pizza in it ,but I can't afford the therapy sessions that would require to discuss further). I was scrolling Instagram and I came across this post from StoneysHB, it said "we are struggling, our landlord let another pizza spot open up next to us" Stoney's has been on my list of places to try since moving closer to the beach so I figured it would be the perfect opportunity to try it out and help out a local HB business. Ordering was pretty seamless, I did it thru Yelp. We got large bbq chicken and large meat lovers, with tax, delivery, tip, it came to about 65$. We submitted our order at 5:40pm, it was due to arrive between 6:25-6:30. I contacted the Slice app that does delivery at 6:40, asking for an update, my order showed up at 7pm COLD. To be clear..this is not an issue with Stoney's but an issue with Slice, the delivery service. Updated: I increased my stars! The business owner reached out and apologized for the experience, offered to remake the order and deliver. I declined but the personalized message in my inbox was a very sweet thing to wake up to this morning. That is not something that you see very often, genuine people. Overall the pizza was good. We ordered delivery through slice but the food came out flavorful. Some of the options are fun a unique. We particularly enjoyed the white sauce pizza (can't remember the exact name) along with the little stuff skulls. The only downside was reheat ability felt a little weak. read more

Thank goodness I decided to try out Stoney's to bring over to my friends' housewarming/move in day. Everyone loved it! I picked it up again today to try out more sides. -Pepperoni Pizza : 4/5 -Hawaiian Jalapeño Pizza: 3.5/5 -Bbq chicken pizza : 4/5 -Boneless Buffalo chicken wings: 4/5 -Onion rings : 5/5 -Cheesy garlic bread w/marinara: 2/5 -Garlic knots (free yelp check in) ((adds 6 minute to pickup fyi)): need to give another try, wasn't bad, but not memorable so no rating atm -House made ranch: 4/5 You can never go wrong with ordering a pepperoni pizza. Plus, it's a real test on the pizza parlor if they can't get a pepperoni pizza right. Stoney's is great! Excited for the day I can just order by the slice to enjoy it on their patio. Hawaiian Jalapeño Pizza was popular at the housewarming party-it received a lot of comments on how adding the jalapeno was a nice touch to the pizza. I didn't try the bbq chicken pizza, but my boyfriend rated it a 4/5 & he's tried many bbq chicken pizzas before so 4/5 is a huge thumbs up from him. I thoroughly enjoyed the boneless buffalo wings. It wasn't overwhelmingly spicy and tasted great. Their onion rings are my favorite. You don't even need the marinara sauce because they're good on their own. (But try it with their ranch) The onions are cooked perfectly so you don't end up with biting into the ring and accidentally pulling out the whole onion because it was still too raw before being fried. The cheesy garlic bread was underwhelming to me, but it wasn't bad by any means. Part of me thinks the food needs to be kept with the lids closed as you're eating it (except onion rings), because the first time I had it, I drove 15 min before consuming it and it was all delicious. This time, I drove 5 min and ate it with all of the boxes open and each slice or piece didn't taste as good as the first. It's all of course just personal preference and I would/am still going to return because it makes the tastebuds happy :) Non-food related review: I ordered on the "Slice" app that Stoney's website advertises to use to avoid extra fees & it's very simple and convenient to use. The reward perks are great too! The only negative aspect of the app is the inaccurate pickup time. The app seems to think the order is accepted as soon as it's placed, but I think it gets accepted/sent in 10 min later. When I first placed my order on the app, it said it would be ready by 6:07 pm (30 min) and I arrived to Stoney's at 6:05 and the employee said my order wasn't set to be finished until 6:17 pm. Today, I purposely arrived late (6:30 pm) and my order that was estimated to be finished by 6:16 pm wasn't ready until 6:45 pm which didn't bother me since my last experience and having read other Yelp reviews all agreed that the wait time is usually long so I expected it. I like the fun decor of Stoney's and how polite the employees are. Both times the employees seemed very busy and slightly stressed, but they still spoke calmly and didn't try to rush me or anyone else who walked in asking questions while ordering. Their casual/chill outdoor seating is quite comfortable and I enjoy having my dog on their outdoor patio enjoying the sun rays while waiting for my order. Tips: Sauces are not in the boxes. Make sure they give them to you. My first time visiting I was in a hurry to meet everyone so I didn't open the boxes to see if my marinara sauce was in there. He remembered my ranch though and placed it on top of the boxes. My second visit the employee automatically placed the sauces (marinara and ranch) in a separate plastic bag as well as the cheese and peppers I asked for. Make sure to ask for them, because they're not automatically given as well & they're placed above the fridge so it's easy to forget about. found this place through a blog about Keto pizza in the area, and I'm so glad I did. Upon arrival, there was a small order counter and limited outdoor seating, but that wasn't an issue since I was taking the pizza to go. There was a bit of a wait, as only one staff member was working and a rush came in while I was waiting--but she handled it well given the circumstances. The keto crust was incredible--crispy, flavorful, and only 10 net carbs. Just a heads-up: the sauces aren't keto-friendly, so you'll need to factor that into your macros. I came into Stoney's earlier today for the first time and was greeted by one of the owners (I completely forgot to ask for her name I'm so sorry) she was very welcoming and helped me with the menu. I ended up getting a medium pepperoni and one of the hot Cheeto pizza slices. They were very delicious the texture was perfect and both types of pizza had good flavors! I would recommend and hope everyone stops by to support their business. The only thing I would say is take your food to go as there's not much room for bigger parties but if you're on your own it's perfect for dining in on a cool beach day ! We stumbled upon this spot after kayaking and we were happy that we came here! The 2 slices for $5 is an AMAZING deal! We ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice cheese pizza, along with wings and the garlic Parmesan fries. I checked in on Yelp so I got 3 free garlic knots. The slices were big and flavorful! The wings were covered in sauce and delicious. The garlic knots were seasoned well and tasty. The fries were really good, however, there was a liquid at the bottom of the basket (butter perhaps?) that was a bit too much for our liking. The pizza parlor is affiliated with the brewery a few doors down so we were able to order our food and then they brought our food to the brewery! It was great to enjoy our pizza with a cold beer. I wasn't expecting $1.50 worth of basil or anything since that would be lk a whole plant, but why skimp on it? I reached out through the app to let them know this & was told that they said this is the normal amount of basil given. So I just thought I'd provide an updated picture of the "normal amount given" since previous pictures here look different. Also thought I'd show the buffalo soldier pizza I got. Which the description says has buffalo sauce as the base with blue cheese drizzle on top. Pretty sure there's no blue cheese & just had buffalo sauce as their signature spiral drizzle.
