This is very good pizza, we came two nights in a row. Patrick is behind the counter and hopefully the owner knows what a great employee he is! He never stopped hustling and was so helpful, but was really impressive is even with all the customers he had, he recognized us the second night and remembered what we were all drinking! My hubby is Brazilian and we typically drive to LA for Sampa's Brazilian pizza! I'm so happy one has opened in Huntington Beach, so much closer to our home! Whenever we are craving Brazilian pizza, we just order online and stop by to pick up. They make all their pizzas fresh and ready in about 15-20 min! Our favorite is the Sao Paolo with shredded chicken and corn and Calabresa with no olives. It's authentic to Brazil and super tasty! I've been here twice in the past two weeks. This place is amazing! The pizzas are made fresh and I love that you can choose any toppings/any of their combinations. They have Brazilian style pizza as well as classic Italian/American toppings. It was my first time trying Brazilian pizza and it was so fresh. Tip: drizzle olive oil on the pizza! Their lunch specials M-F are a great deal too! Today I tried the fettucine alfredo with mushroom. It was one of the best fettucine alfredos I've ever had. So flavorful and the pasta was nice and bouncy. For dessert, try their brigadeiro cake. I had a slice last week, and today. Just the right amount of sweetness, and the chocolate is so rich. My first time at this place was soooo good. The crust on our pizza was perfect and the toppings were on point. The next time we ordered (to go) was not as good. The pizzas here are still very tasty but this last time we ordered, the dough was too soft. I had to double check to see if it was cooked through (it was). I had a couple of their Brazilian pizzas and I highly recommend. We also had the Hawaiian (don't come for me pineapple haters) - the Hawaiian here is SO GOOD. Don't sleep on it. On the non-pie side - I was surprised to find how BOMB their wings are. I'm not a big fan of sauce drenched wings, I'm a dry rub fan myself- and the fact that they separate the buffalo sauce from the wings is a big win for me. I liked this place. Super friendly, every pizza you can order a slice instead of a whole pie (amazing!). I got a slice of the calabresa, the five cheese, and a pizza with tuna on it. The five cheese you can really taste the different cheeses. The crust is crunchy, but honestly not a whole lot of flavor to it. I liked the calabresa more as it had more flavor and they use a Brazilian meat which you can really taste the difference. And finally the tuna is really different. I've never had tuna on my pizza. I liked it. I actually asked for this slice to stay in the oven longer which was a mistake. The cheese on top burnt and I didn't taste it as much. read more

I ran into this great place in downtown HB and had a slice of the Sao Paulo from their Brazilian offereings (they also have American & Italian pizzas). It had an incredible, thin crust with a wonderful blend of cheeses from Italy. They said there were no preservatives in the crust or cheeses. I ordered what I expected to be a traditional "side salad" and was surprised with a healthy, fresh and light Greek salad. Very impressive. This is really something different! read more

I love trying new foods. Brazilian pizza is a welcoming change up for the norm. They also have regular American and Italian pizzas as well as salads, pastas and a few appetizers. Gluten free crusts and cauliflower crusts are available. Calabresa slice hits just right. Service was warm and welcoming Chill spot with a few tv's to watch the game. My husband and I visited Sampa because we were really excited to try an authentic Brazilian pizza, especially the São Paulo pizza with catupiry. My husband is Brazilian, and catupiry is something we truly love and were looking forward to. Unfortunately, the pizza arrived with no catupiry at all. We carefully inspected the pizza because it is clearly listed in the description, and we genuinely thought it may have been forgotten. When we asked the waiter (who was very kind and polite), we were told that there was some "on the bottom." However, there was absolutely none no visible layer, no taste, nothing. What made the situation worse was being told that loyal customers receive more. That response was extremely disappointing. Do we need to visit 20 times before receiving what is already included in the menu description? We left feeling misled and disappointed. When you order a specialty pizza based on its ingredients, you expect to actually receive them especially something as essential as catupiry. Sadly, this experience has made us decide we won't be returning. read more

Not Quite What We Hoped For We ordered delivery from this pizza spot in Huntington Beach, hoping for a cozy night in with some comfort food with visiting family. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite hit the mark. The pizza arrived warm, but the center was noticeably soggy, making it hard to enjoy the way we'd hoped. As for the chicken wings--they turned out to be chicken strips instead, and were so overcooked they ended up dry and tough. We get that delivery can be tricky, and maybe it was just an off night. But with so many great options in the area, we'll probably try somewhere else next time read more

I wish I had photos to share because the food looks as good as it tastes! We were helped by Natalia and a young gentleman. Natalia is the sweetest and will make you feel so welcome! The Brazilian pizza options are delicious and you're able to get them by the slice if you're a little hesitant to try a new flavor although I doubt you'd regret it. My picky boyfriend even loved it! We had four cheese, São Paulo, and their version of their classic pepperoni. Everything was a hit! 10/10 would recommend!! Not too much sauce and the cheese is so fresh! read more

We will return! We looked on Yelp for authentic thin crust pizza - we don't care for Chicago deep-dish style, and being Italian and growing up with delicious homemade pizza, I'm particular. Sampa's got good reviews, so we walked here this beautiful Tuesday day from a beach parking lot. We discovered there is a public parking garage right across the street! We arrived around noon and there was one other gentleman sitting at a table awaiting his lunch. Natalia, a sweet kind lady from Brazil, explained that the lunch special was two fresh-made slices of certain kinds of pizzas , and a choice of Caesar, Greek or green salad. She allowed us to choose pizza toppings different from the specials, so I ordered the Brazilian Veggie with fresh tomato sauce, basil, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, cherry tomatoes and mozzarella with Parmesan and sun dried tomatoes. I also ordered the Greek salad, a salad I eat often at Greek/Mediterranean restaurants. My husband chose the Meat Lovers with tomato sauce, bacon, Italian sausage, pepperoni, caramelizada onions and mozzarella, and a Caesar salad. Natalia made the big, very fresh, delicious salads and I could tell she cared about the freshness and quality of the food. The Caesar's crunchy romaine and croutons were accompanied by tasty Parmesan and Caesar dressing. And my Greek salad had a generous topping of feta cheese over very fresh mixed greens, crunchy cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, slices of pepperocini, Kalamata olives and a delicious Italian balsamic vinaigrette. Natalia hand made the fresh pizza for us so we enjoyed our salads before she brought the pizza. Two cut slices are one-half of a 12" pizza. The crusts were thin yet easily held the toppings; soft yet pleasantly chewy. Everything was very fresh and handmade, just like in Italy. With the salad, we were more than satisfied. Her menu includes pastas, appetizers, wraps - even dessert pizzas. There are a good amount of tables inside. read more

Was excited when I saw this place open in my local neighborhood. Gave it a try and it fell flat. Everything from the crust to the sauce to the cheese was terrible. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, bbq chicken pizza and the famous Nutella dessert pizza and took one bite of each and threw them out. The crust was so chewy and tasted premade versus homemade.
