The kids were able to feed, brush and comb out the horses tails. They were taught the care of the horses hooves. With little to no experience they had a riding lesson on a very gentle horse. They talked about it for hours after we got home. They loved it and I loved seeing them so excited about the experience. We went home with a dozen free range eggs after a stop at their chicken coop to watch the chickens laying their eggs and collecting some of the eggs. Definitely a five star experience!

I was matched with Baby, a horse that likes to take charge and make her own path on the trail haha. Our group consisted of 7 people and we filled out the waiver in advance, after getting a safety tutorial we were situated and paired with our horses and set out on our hour long trail ride. The hour went by quickly and I wished we couldve kept going! Some of the trail consisted walking through water which was something different.

The trail is marked with mile markers and there is a map at the beginning of the trail. Easy to follow and navigate your way. There is a fitness area which I thought was neat. There are no accessible restrooms available that I saw. There are no animal waste areas that are available that I saw. I will definitely try this trail again.

This is such a beautiful location and place for a ride. The horse was such a gentle giant, his name is Bandit and I even got a hug from him at the end. I can not say enough good things about the guide. He was knowledgeable about the horses and everything on property and around. He was so friendly and since it was just us I felt so very lucky that I got to chat with him as we rode. It was over way too fast, I wish they offered longer rides. It was a perfect experience. We've been with horse instructor Amanda Martin for about 6 months now. The farm just recently…read moremoved to Enchanted Acres. We usually have our lesson scheduled for Saturday or Sunday. Amanda is easy to work with if your schedule changes weekend to weekend. My 7 year old has learned to ride western but has been exposed to English also. Amanda is great at making kids feel comfortable with her and trust in her. She doesn't rush things if they aren't ready for it. My daughter rides a mare named Lucy and she's her favorite. Her prices per hour are reasonable.
