Love the Rib Eye steaks...The prices are reasonable, and can't compare with other major food brand companies in my opinion! The manager at this particular WF is always so friendly and knowledgeable. They are fully stocked and are ready to serve from the moment the doors open at 8am. Everything I tried was delicious, and I was blown away by how knowledgeable and helpful the staff were. They not only guided me during the scavenger hunt, but also educated me on the quality of the meats, the preservation process, and even explained the taste, texture, and best seasonings to pair with different cuts. The products themselves were so unique and exciting--things you don't find just anywhere, like ostrich, beef organs, tongue, and more. It was such a fun and eye-opening experience, and I left genuinely impressed. Can't wait to cook these new meats for the first time!

A trip to Whole Foods offers a familiar and reliable bounty: aisles of health-conscious products,…read morevibrant organic produce, and an impressive range of prepared foods like pizza, sushi, and a sprawling salad bar. However, the premium quality comes with an equally premium price tag, a reality that has persisted, and perhaps even intensified, since its acquisition by Amazon. For the savvy shopper, there are still ways to navigate the costs. Keen attention to pricing, coupled with strategic use of Amazon Prime discounts and in-store sales, can help balance the ledger. Ultimately, the store's unique draw lies in its exclusive selection; there are certain specialty items you simply won't find anywhere else, making it a necessary stop for certain needs. Our family has found a practical rhythm: we always begin our shopping at the Trader Joe's across the street. After surveying their selection and prices, we then visit Whole Foods for those few, special items we can't get elsewhere. This approach makes the added effort, and expense, feel worthwhile. Despite the undeniable cost, shopping at the Lake Grove location remains a valuable way to support and enrich a healthy lifestyle, especially for those living on Long Island's East End. It's a curated experience, one where careful planning can turn a luxury stop into a sustainable part of your routine.

My wife and I needed to do a quick shop last night and decided to swing by the supermarket. The hype right now is at Wegmans so the store seems empty at 7pm. Walking in, we're greeted by a hostess. She explained the smart wagon, we're the cashier as we swipe the reader in the wagon. Do I get paid for this? Haha The shopping experience is interesting, lots of great sales but regular priced items are eye popping. No, I don't need $36 worth of detergent but I do need .75 cents on Nan bread. That's right, 3 quarters. I noticed the cheese selection was pretty cool but yogurt choices were not that large. The store is very large and clean. All of the shelves were well stocked. Listen, I think I'm a fan?? Every week we have to go to ShopRite because the digital coupons didnt work. Amazon Fresh had the tech down! After we were all rung up, we received a discount being a prime member. Still on the fence, so far nothing but a positive shopping experience to report for Amazon Fresh.

This is a great store with quality products where you can save money. Highly recommend. I wouldn't purchase their skin care, medical or cleaning supplies. Those seem to be overpriced. I came in for the advertised "Celebration Bouquet" for $6.99. When I asked an employee for help, she first told me she had no idea what I was talking about. Only after I mentioned the website did she bother to look it up -- and once she confirmed it existed, she informed me the store didn't carry it. Her helpful solution? That I drive around to other Stop & Shop locations and see if they might have it. No substitution, no effort, nothing. Then I tried to pick up the free 48 oz Blue Diamond Almond Milk. Also unavailable. This time I was told to "keep checking back," as if I have unlimited time to repeatedly visit the store hoping the advertised items eventually materialize. If Stop & Shop expects customers to spend their week traveling from store to store chasing down promotions, it would be great if that were mentioned somewhere. As it stands, the experience was disappointing, unhelpful, and frankly pretty frustrating. I filled out the survey at the bottom of my receipt & requested that someone contact me by email. The survey indicated I would receive a response within 7 business days. Today is 4/26/26, I am fairly certain we are beyond that timeframe---yet another failure on their part.
