Refused to give him the shot even though he offered to pay for it and had an appointment. I called the location spoke to the pharmacist she was nice but the damage was already done. I called corporate about this location. Ill never ever go to this store again. If you are located on the base there is a Walgreens maybe 20 mins from the base that accepts tricare. We were in and out in 10mins they accepted our appointment as well.

I stepped outside, made the appointment on my phone per their requirement, received a confirmation, and walked back in. The pharmacist told me that doing so was still considered a "walk-in" and that I would not be given a flu shot at all. Her tone was as if I had been trying to manipulate the system. Why have an appointment system at all if you don't plan to honor them? Furthermore, the same staff treated an older gentleman ahead of me rudely when he was trying to make sense of why they didn't have his prescription ready on-time. They offered little information and the poor guy was just trying to comprehend the situation. I've had positive interactions in other CVS stores, but the team here clearly should not be customer-facing.

Luckily the staff is always super nice and overall seem to go the extra mile. On one occasion they provided same day delivery for the medications, which is amazing considering the traffic in Boston. They videos they have are also more helpful than some of the others I have seen. I have also had to speak with an on call nurse, after 8pm, for a question and she called back and was super cheerful. There are some lovely people working at the Pharmacy, but they are overwhelmed 24/7. I finally gave up and switched to Walgreens for prescriptions- of course, that transfer was a hassle, since this CVS kept the Walgreens pharmacist on hold for over an hour.
