Delicious gyros and other Greek plates, cheap and fast. We have now been here several times, usually when we are out and about and realize we need to stop for lunch. Delicious gyros with fresh greens for $7.99; add a side or choose a whole plate (there are several) for $12.99. Way better than other fast food options. Several types of drinks to go - fountain, bottle or can. The staff is friendly and happy to explain the menu or give suggestions to new customers. They have your freshly made plate ready in about five minutes or less. Located off I-35E and Sam Rayburn/121 by the Costco, it's the perfect location for a quick, yummy meal. Was in the area with a friend and was looking for a place to grab a bite after a day of moving, and found Stop-n-Go. It's an inviting, casual space, which had a steady stream of customers collecting to-go orders when we dined. No surprises on the menu, everything was fairly standard but well made and tasted fresh. No complaints about anything we tried, which in my case was a shared appetizer of dolmas and greek fries, and a gyro plate that I took home with me. Nothing special about the ambience as it is just a quick place to get a gyro. On the drive home the gyro smelled amazing. Their customer service is horrible. You get there at seven and then they tell you that you still can't dine in and their food is really not the type of food that I wanna take home and eat I'd rather eat it there. Absolutely unacceptable experience. We arrived before closing and were waiting for food that the staff was actively preparing. While I was already taking a few bites, the man who appeared to be the owner aggressively yelled at me, saying, "Don't mess up my tables--get out." Both I and another employee explained that we were waiting for food they were still making. His response was, "I don't care, I don't care--get out. You can't eat here." No professionalism, no courtesy, no basic respect. If you don't want customers in your restaurant, don't accept their orders. The way we were spoken to was rude, hostile, and completely uncalled for. I've never been treated so poorly at a business, especially one that relies on customer support to survive. There are plenty of places in Dallas that value their customers--this is not one of them. I would strongly recommend taking your money elsewhere. read more

Worst customer service! Would not honor the buy one get one that is offered by Uber Eats. We ordered through Uber Eats and had it for pick up. Once we arrived we were approached rudely and were told that we can only get one and not two. We ended up canceling and still got charged. Please fix your Buisness instead of deleting 1 star reviews. Yeah, I came back thinking the first time was a fluke, but nah, this place just isn't for me. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate this time around and I thought that the chicken was a bit dry and cool to the touch even though the restaurant is about a 7 minute drive from my house. I loved it! This was my driest time trying gyros and they were so delicious! I split on with my mom to try it out, and we got a side of Greek fries. It was a good price and definitely enough for us two! The service was great and the staff was very nice. They got our food out to us quickly and we sat in the tables off to the side. The service was good, ambiance and food ok. My daughter and I stop by here in a Saturday around 6:15 p.m. to try it out. There was constant traffic in and out of the location so we thought that was great as well as the reviews that we had read. We both had a gyros and the Greek fries. Both gyros were cold. Not warm but COLD. I have never had them cold before. Flavor was ok. The fried were very hot but they vaguely tasted like fish grease. Not sure why. We did not return the food and not sure if we will return to this location again. Really surprised because of the amount of people that came in while we were waiting. read more

OH MY GOSH! This place popped up as NEW on Yelp and My fiancé has been talking about how he's been craving Mediterranean food for the longest. We decided to make the 20 minute drive for dinner! The restaurant is definitely made for to go orders or a quick eat. Then looking at the pick up time and location realized we ordered from the Lewisville location by mistake, we live in Crowley! Pleasantly surprised with this unexpected hole in the wall! Particularly fan of their pita bread which was fresh and soft, we also got the vegetarian platter and the falafel was right on point, the hummus also had a great authentic flavor. We also ordered the gyro - as great as you'd expect. I was particularly impressed at this family business and al the work they do together to make the place run. They also have some original mixes with American style plates which called my attention and will certainly be trying on my next stop. Victor was building our bowls, and he was phenomenal. These assembly-line restaurants can feel rushed, but he was attentive, easygoing, and actually engaged. I had a lot of questions about the proteins (freshness, differences day to day, what was best that evening) and he took the time to explain everything honestly. He made thoughtful recommendations based on what had just been prepared and dietary needs, without rushing or making it awkward. The bowl itself was well balanced, generous, and incredibly fresh. Everything tasted really good, you can absolutely tell when the ingredients have just been made. At checkout, Sam was unbelievably kind and welcoming. She reminded us pita bread was included, joked with us, and made the whole interaction feel warm and genuine. She even congratulated me on my soon-to-be-born son, which honestly meant more than she probably realized. I had to give her a big hug which she kindly welcomed. That moment alone made my night. Threw in a few drinks on the house. Asked if we lied nearby and said she absolutely wanted us to come back in. Luisa was also wonderful and had me try a mix of the Tangerine Aleppo drink with the classic lemonade, which was delicious! For a late Monday night, this team was top-tier. Fresh food, great energy, and staff who actually care about the people walking through the door. Huge shout-out to Victor, Sam, and Luisa, we'll absolutely be back. They all made my day.
